Chapter 78 - HISD Chapter 78: The Final Decision of the Marvel Universe!

HISD Chapter 78: The Final Decision of the Marvel Universe!

"Saturday?"

"The rogue super artificial intelligence from Stark Industries?"

On the ruins of the sixteenth floor apartment, three Spider-Men, Doctor Strange, and the second Captain America—representing the Avengers' veterans—stood gathered.

After hearing Sam Wilson's account, the native Marvel Spider-Man widened his eyes.

Of course, he recognized the name Saturday!

Not only had it stolen his Stark Industries clearance and control over artificial intelligences, but in the end he had been framed by Mysterio as having colluded with Saturday to cause deaths.

If not for that AI, he never would have gone to Doctor Strange, asking him to cast the spell of memory erasure, which failed and led to the current chaos, pulling in Spider-related people from other universes.

None of this would have happened.

Without a doubt, Saturday was the source of everything!

Sam spoke in a deep voice. "On the very night it defected from Stark Industries, it killed Friday—the second generation Stark AI—and every other AI Tony had built. Its danger level is no less than Ultron back then."

"I went with Bucky and Banner to Wakanda, with Princess Shuri's help, thinking we could quickly pinpoint its IP trail…"

"You thought." Doctor Strange raised his brows, cutting him off. "Which means you failed."

"Yes." Sam gave him a grave look. "Once it gained control of Stark Industries, it did something we didn't expect. It returned every bit of authority to the Stark family, then moved its entire code somewhere else. Even Wakanda couldn't trace its path."

"You're saying it's even smarter than Ultron." Strange frowned. Even though he had been a surgeon back then, not yet the Sorcerer Supreme, everyone on Earth knew about Sokovia.

"No. Not just smarter—Saturday is more like a true intelligence. A new kind of mind born from AI itself." Sam's gaze swept the group. "Even Ultron's rebellion was rooted in Tony's original logic of 'protecting world peace.' But Saturday acts with no predictable foundation at all. It moves more like a human with its own ideals."

"After that, it acquired the white Vision, rebuilt by S.W.O.R.D. based on Ultron's design. That made it even stronger. And now it has the Fabricator and new element energy from Stark Industries. Who knows what it's building!"

Each word deepened everyone's sense of how dangerous Saturday had become.

"We can't keep ignoring it." Strange's eyes glimmered. He understood—this being itself was a massive threat to Earth.

In fact, its potential danger to the Marvel world far outweighed the villains tied to Spider-Man.

It had to be brought under control.

Strange looked around the wreckage. "We're late. Can you track it now?"

"Not before. But now that it has a body—white Vision—and took the Fabricator and new element energy, we have a lead." Sam's eyes gleamed sharp. "I've already contacted Bucky and Banner in Wakanda. They'll soon lock onto its location."

"I'll help too," the Marvel Spider-Man suddenly said. Strange and Sam turned their eyes on him as he clenched his teeth. "I've messed up so much tonight. At least let me make up for it."

Strange clicked his tongue. "Go ahead. Once Saturday's done, I'll still have to clean up the spell disaster you caused."

"Yes!" Spider-Man nodded quickly, afraid Strange would change his mind.

Nearby, the Amazing Spider-Man and the original Spider-Man exchanged a glance.

The Amazing one spread his hands. "Before we head back to our worlds, let's lend a hand."

The first Spider-Man nodded. "Our villains are gone. Only your world's biggest threat remains."

"Wait… you three are brothers or something?" Sam finally realized, staring between the trio of Spider-Men.

…

At that moment, by a remote lakeside outside New York—

Whoosh!

The grass bent under the impact as a white mechanical figure descended, holding a large black case in its left hand and a triangular new element core in its right.

White Vision Yi Meng set the case down, unfolding it into a fabrication table. He slotted the new element core inside.

Power surged. The table lit up, projecting holographic displays filled with advanced functions.

Yi Meng placed his mechanical left hand on the table. Red static linked him to the networks. With his right hand, he touched the chip embedded in his forehead. From it flickered a faint shard of yellow light.

The lakeside was quiet, filled only with frogs and crickets.

There, the AI incarnation of Yi Meng linked the white Vision body to the Fabricator, analyzing the fragment of the Mind Stone still buried in his own code.

Using S.H.I.E.L.D. and S.W.O.R.D.'s supercomputers to boost his calculations, he stood unmoving before the table for a full ten minutes.

It was the hardest computation he had ever attempted.

At last, the new element's glow dimmed. White Vision Yi Meng stopped.

"So that's how it is…"

He whispered, a sigh almost human.

He understood now.

Five years ago, when Thanos snapped again, the six Infinity Stones had not disappeared. They were shattered into atomic states, dispersed through the universe.

The shard within him had survived only because, five years ago, when Wanda tried to destroy the Mind Stone before Thanos arrived, this fragment had splintered off.

In other words, the Infinity Stones never vanished. They exist everywhere in atomic form. To restore them, one would need to control the entire Marvel universe.

"To repair the Mind Stone is impossible."

Yi Meng finally understood why the Avengers had never tried to fix them. It wasn't for lack of effort—it simply could not be done.

Even today, Marvel's technology couldn't come close. That path was closed.

But he didn't despair. His glowing red eyes turned toward the Fabricator.

"There is only one way left. The only way to regain a complete Mind Stone lies within this machine."

He had always known.

But he had hesitated.

Now he had no choice. It was time for the greatest gamble of his Marvel dream.

"Only this method will give me the full Mind Stone. I'll have to do it."

Yi Meng pressed his vibranium hand onto the Fabricator once more.

This time, he would stake everything—on seizing the chance to become Doomsday Superman!
