Chapter 142 - The Puppet Master's Defeat

"Interesting? You're full of hot air! Wind Wolf!" Shada unleashed the Wind Wolf puppet to launch a fierce attack on Uchiha Shiyu.

Meanwhile, the Chameleon puppet periodically flicked out its extremely long, sharp tongue to carry out sneak assaults on Shiyu.

"Bang, bang, bang, bang!" The clang of metal filled the air as Shiyu blocked all of Wind Wolf's claw strikes, then backflipped to dodge. Just then, the Chameleon ambushed him, and Shiyu instantly used his Meteorite Blade to parry it away.

"Haha! My puppets have infinite stamina under my control! How long can you last?" Shada boasted arrogantly, aiming to wear Shiyu down.

"What a fool." Shiyu shook his head. As this was his first fight against a puppeteer, he wanted to observe their combat style—but his restraint only emboldened Shada.

"Since you're so arrogant, let me show you the difference before I finish you off!" Shiyu charged the Wind Wolf directly.

"Haha! Then prepare to die!" Wind Wolf was controlled fiercely, slashing with terrifying wind chakra embroidered blades, ready to kill instantly.

"Dream on!"

"Meteor Shower Dance!" Shiyu treated Wind Wolf as his target practice. Dodging the Chameleon's ambush with an incredibly elusive movement, he launched a series of fast slashes at Wind Wolf, elegantly dancing.

Meteor Shower Dance lived up to its name—the movements were graceful, launching multi-directional slashes from all angles. Facing Wind Wolf, Shiyu struck mercilessly while seemingly stopping time.

Then he gracefully retreated, sheathed his Meteorite Blade, looking as if he never moved.

But Shada noticed he'd lost control of Wind Wolf.

"What's happening!? Impossible! Why?!" Shada was baffled—his attack had been foiled.

"Save it; it should be two against one, right? No… you don't count without puppets—you're dead," Shiyu sneered.

"Something's wrong!" Shada refused to accept defeat.

"Boom!" With a snap, Shada's chakra threads broke.

"What!?" He watched in disbelief as Wind Wolf crashed to the ground, shattered.

"How is this possible? You never moved!" Shada raged. "Taste the Chameleon's Infinite Strangulation Jutsu!"

The Chameleon revealed its belly, releasing countless sharp, tentacle-like appendages attacking Shiyu.

"Two puppets—one close range, one long-range support?" Shiyu spun, and his hair exploded outward, wildly filling the room.

"Whoosh!" The Chameleon's tentacles lashed at Shiyu's hair, but with a snap, the tentacles broke cleanly.

"What kind of ninjutsu is this!? Impossible! Too exaggerated!" Shada's eyes widened in shock.

"Run! I have one last trick! You'll all be buried with them!"

"Explode!"

The whole Amahara mansion detonated with the bodies of the two puppets exploding, as Shada laughed maniacally.

The puppets had explosive tags inside, but Shiyu's Sage Art Wild Lion's Mane had transformed into several huge, terrifying white bone snake heads. This was his first defense layer; his Needle Jizo body was second, White Dragon Scales third, and his own physical strength fourth.

Though the mansion exploded, Shiyu wasn't harmed at all.

"This puppeteer lives up to his name… Where's the three against one? You disappoint me… You haven't learned from the Second Kazekage—you're a fraud. One move from me will end this."

"A Rasengan is enough." Shiyu condensed a Rasengan and vanished.

Nearby, Shada laughed triumphantly.

"Hahaha! You beat my puppets—so what? I can make as many as I want!"

"Killing you is what matters! You wait, kid!"

"Swish!"

When Shiyu reappeared above, he slammed a Rasengan into Shada's body.

"Ah! Impossible!" Shada was shocked to see Shiyu alive, and possessing such a powerful move.

Shada collapsed, bleeding heavily.

"Shada, didn't I say 'Sorry about this time' before?" Shiyu repeated, and Shada remembered, crying out, "How is this possible?! When I disguised as Butler Fukube, did you know it was me?!"

"You hid well, I was fooled, but I already left a Flying Thunder God mark on you." Shiyu patted Fukube's back then, secretly marking him.

"Flying Thunder God… What's that?" Shada didn't understand.

"Too complicated to explain, and I don't have to. In short: You lost. Look into my eyes!" Shiyu cast genjutsu instantly.

Shada resisted not, falling into the illusion.

"So weak… Against puppeteers, crushing them outright or genjutsu is best," Shiyu remarked.

"Where are they hidden?" Shiyu asked.

"Nakajima… the Nakajima family."

"What about my shadow clones?" he pressed. His clones matched his strength and should have crushed the enemy easily.

"I ambushed your clones, bound them, then reverse-summoned to another dimension," Shada said flatly.

"Despicable!" Shiyu guessed his clones were frustrated.

"Is there an antidote for the mixed poison?" Shiyu asked.

"No… Only researched it," Shada answered.

"I figured. Where is the Nakajima family?"

"West… west of the city… Nakajima family…"
