Chapter 59 - Chapter 59 Ward hair?

Thump!

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Thump! Thump! Thump!

"I really should talk to Dumbledore about this. Professor Kaisen isn't even at Hogwarts, yet his office keeps making these strange noises, like someone's throwing things inside."

Filch, leading the Gryffindor quartet towards Professor McGonagall's office, happened to pass Kaisen's office.

Listening to the eerie sounds from inside, Filch sighed with emotion.

"Could it be that Professor Kaisen's Alchemy items are malfunctioning?"

Filch paused his steps forward, then after a moment, he shook his head: "Even so, he should tell Dumbledore first. Don't tell me you all are also studying Alchemy."

"Actually, I'm quite interested in Alchemy…" Hermione began to say, but was interrupted by Filch: "Well, your Alchemy can't compare to Professor Kaisen's, you know? The lamp he gave me last time is still glowing now, and it's been half a semester without needing any fuel…"

Hermione nodded: "Mr. Filch, I completely understand your respect for Professor Kaisen, but listen, isn't that sound a bit too strange?"

Filch frowned, finally pressing his ear against the office door.

The rumbling sound inside came in waves…

"This sound is too scary. I'm going to find Dumbledore. You all wait here for me, don't even think about running. If you really do run away, I'll truly have to go find Professor McGonagall for you!" Filch threatened the four Little Wizardss fiercely, then he ran towards Dumbledore's office.

"So… should we run? I heard George and Fred say that a hidden rule at Hogwarts is that as long as you're not caught after breaking a rule, there's no punishment?" Ron suggested.

"I'm sorry, I've heard similar things, but we've already been caught," Hermione regretfully shook her head.

While Hermione and Ron were chatting idly, the other two had already taken action, trying to open the door with Alohomora.

However, it seemed that Professor Kaisen's door was not a common mechanical or magic lock, but a redstone lock, so Alohomora was useless for this poor lock.

"Wait… a redstone door?" Harry suddenly noticed a blind spot. He felt in his pocket and pulled out a red cube.

"Hermione, do you know the Disassembly Charm?" he asked.

Hermione rolled her eyes: "Last time we almost turned Professor Kaisen's office upside down, and he didn't hold it against us. Now you want to dismantle Professor Kaisen's door lock again?"

Harry shrugged: "Principal Dumbledore is on his way, and this lock will have to be opened anyway. Instead of Principal Dumbledore opening it with some unknown powerful magic, it's better if we open it with redstone now. At least we can put the outer casing back on."

"....Alright." Hermione was persuaded by Harry, pulled out her wand, pointed it at the lock, and chanted the spell. Soon the outer casing of the lock fell off, revealing dense redstone circuitry inside, as well as a lock core made of very small levers, pressure plates, and buttons. The position of the lock head consisted of several pieces of obsidian and pistons.

"It's open. Now how do you want to open this lock head?" Ron asked.

"Didn't Professor Kaisen teach us before? Use redstone," Harry pulled out a small piece of redstone and pressed it directly onto the circuit made of redstone powder. As the redstone powder emitted a strange glow, the lock head, composed of pistons and obsidian, directly retracted.

Harry turned back and smiled at Hermione and the others: "I have a bit of talent in Alchemy, don't I?"

"Yes, now, future Mister Alchemy, please open the door," Hermione nodded.

"Oh." Harry nodded and pulled the door open. The next moment, the four of them were buried by a pile of gifts that suddenly surged out from within the door.

And Filch finally arrived here with the belated Dumbledore.

"Wow, it seems you've all been buried by a sea of happiness," Dumbledore bent down, picked up a large gift box from the ground, and looked at the ribbon and greeting card on it.

"This is from Kaisen for you," he handed the gift to Filch behind him.

The latter took the gift with slightly trembling hands, and it took him a while to react and think about opening it.

Fortunately, Dumbledore stopped him: "Wait until Kaisen returns, he will personally give you this gift. The surprised smile on your face will also be a surprise to him."

Filch quickly put the gift down: "Yes, you are right, Professor Dumbledore."

Dumbledore smiled and nodded, looking at the four Little Wizardss carefully emerging from the pile of gifts: "I wonder if Kaisen, knowing you cracked his lock, should marvel at your talent or replace this poor lock with a new casing."

"Don't worry, Professor, we'll fix it," Neville still held the outer casing of the lock that had fallen to the ground.

After moving past this little interlude related to the lock, everyone peered towards the source of such a pile of gifts, only to see a spot in the corner of the office continuously spewing out gifts.

Dumbledore used his magic to move the gifts obstructing his view aside, and then he clearly saw that what was spewing out gifts was a dark green, ornate box.

"Hmm, I remember Kaisen's ring and that box are almost identical, just a bit smaller… Alright, have you all satisfied your curiosity?" Dumbledore finished speaking and looked at the several Little Wizardss.

And the four little ones awkwardly scratched the backs of their heads.

"Now that you've seen it clearly, go back. It's also time for the belated Professor Kaisen to experience this surprise," he said, waving his hand, and the countless gifts that had surged out neatly arranged themselves back into the office, stacked perfectly.

However, a newly spewed gift quickly messed up the neatly stacked gifts again.

"Quick, lock this door, or else more might gush out later," Dumbledore hurriedly said to Harry.

And Harry touched the redstone circuit with redstone, making the lock retract for three seconds. Taking advantage of this time, he quickly slammed the door shut and put the outer casing back on the lock.

The incident at the office ended just like that. Subsequently, under Dumbledore's persuasion, Filch's plan to take Harry and the others to Professor McGonagall's office was also abandoned.

The corridor of the Alchemy Professor's office once again returned to silence, until evening…

Buzz… [Ender Teleportation sound]

Thump….

Thump...

Thump...

"What the heck?!"
