Chapter 119 - Chapter 119 Not a bad guy, but an idiot

After leaving the secret base located in the wilderness, the two Apparated to a picturesque place.

Dumbledore was quite thoughtful; he had already started planning a picnic.

"Was what the Prime Minister said true?" Kaisen, who couldn't understand why they were having a picnic in the dead of winter, simply lit a bonfire on the ground and asked while warming himself.

"It's true. He genuinely didn't know about the existence of that laboratory," Dumbledore nodded.

"It's much better than I expected. At least this represents the ideas of some rare madmen, not the entire Muggle government of England."

"Better than expected... Let me think who else can join our little picnic now... Is Remus at St. Mungo's?" A lightbulb suddenly appeared above Dumbledore's head.

"Yes, most likely, but it's hard to say if something unexpected happens, like him chasing after... Greyback again?"

"I hope nothing unexpected has happened," Dumbledore said, then Apparated to St. Mungo's and returned shortly with Lupin.

"How was the matter resolved?" Lupin sat down, casually picked up a piece of bread, and asked.

"The shooting range used nearly two boxes of bullets," Kaisen explained.

"Hoh! Fudge was that effective this time?" Lupin said with some surprise.

"Nonsense. That guy still wanted to keep things quiet. Dumbledore and I went to Downing Street ourselves to find the Prime Minister. I even discovered that the Prime Minister's little secretary was my student. Isn't that a coincidence?"

Lupin scratched his nose awkwardly: "So the Prime Minister of England has started secretly accepting Wizards?"

"You can't say that. It's the Little Wizards's freedom to find whatever job they want after graduating from Hogwarts," Dumbledore explained, sitting on the ground.

"Uh... alright."

"What about those poor Wizards?" Dumbledore pulled out a white porcelain teapot from somewhere, pouring tea and asking.

"That Lockhart somehow ended up at St. Mungo's. His Memory Charm was pretty good. In short, their psychological trauma should be gone."

Kaisen and Dumbledore exchanged glances: "It seems he did quite well."

"Hmm... Although his books are open to interpretation, and I don't believe they're his personal experiences, his Memory Charm really has some skill. Oh, by the way, Kaisen, did you know? The Longbottoms are looking all over the world for you right now."

"I just found out that the Longbottoms were actually cured by Lockhart, and when I went to deliver the victims, I just saw Neville Longbottom and Longbottom asking where you were."

"There's a Little Wizards at the nurse's station who looked like she used to be your student. She was almost scared to tears by Longbottom."

"Uh... Luckily I'm not at Hogwarts, otherwise they'd probably drag me to Longbottom Manor even if they had to pull me by force," Kaisen said with some lingering fear.

"Yes, indeed... Wait, Kaisen... Get out of the way, Kaisen!" Lupin grabbed Kaisen's collar, then instinctively pushed off the ground with both feet, pulling Kaisen behind him in the blink of an eye.

The spot where Kaisen had just been sitting was already struck by a bright red beam of light, creating a bottomless pit.

The Elder Wand appeared in Dumbledore's hand almost instantly. He immediately located the two figures on the cliff who had attacked Kaisen with magic.

"Who is that?" Kaisen pulled out his wand, then took out a spare monocle from his pocket and clipped it onto his eye socket, instantly locking onto the two figures.

[Human] [magic]

"Why is this...?" He murmured, marveling that the revealing monocle couldn't see through the essence of that strange figure. The next moment, he witnessed a scene that made him doubt the true level of magic in this world.

The figure, whose essence he couldn't discern, casually raised his wand. In the December weather, which should have been snowing, thunder and lightning began almost instantly, and large raindrops fell to the ground as if defying the temperature.

Almost simultaneously, the entire sky was enveloped by a series of orange-yellow magic circles, interlocking like a precise mechanical watch, and a pitch-black beam of light pierced through the magic circles.

"Go!" Dumbledore roared, and the Phoenix instantly appeared above his head, golden-red flames instantly enveloping the three of them.

After the three of them left, the small valley where they had planned to have their picnic had already turned into a terrifying giant pit.

"Remus is down there! And Dumbledore! Didn't you say you'd only kill the one named Kaisen Heath?" Above the valley, Sirius grabbed the masked man's collar and roared.

"They're not dead. The Phoenix took them away," the masked man said calmly.

"But if you had succeeded, they would have really died!" Sirius said with lingering fear.

"Then I will kill Lord Voldemort for them. Compared to that bleak future... it's nothing major."

"Which one are you talking about, exactly...?" Sirius asked.

"Don't ask what you shouldn't ask. I'm giving you a task: turn into a dog and 'accidentally' meet Kaisen. Let him take you back to Hogwarts as a pet. Also, to prevent him from seeing your true nature, wear this." The masked man tossed a ring to Sirius.

"What's this thing for? And how are you so sure that Kaisen Heath will take me as a pet?"

"This ring will make it so that when he looks at you with his monocle, he'll only see the word 'beast'. For your second question, I'm very sure. He's always liked a big black dog. But you need to avoid Lupin; next year, he'll become the Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts," the masked man said casually, shrugging.

"This..."

"Harry Potter runs to his office every other day."

"I accept this task," Sirius said instantly.

"But... if Harry runs to his office every other day, won't he be in danger?"

The masked man shook his head.

"Kaisen Heath isn't a bad person... He's just an idiot!"

"How idiotic?" Sirius asked.

"...As idiotic as can be." After saying that, the masked man placed his hand directly on Sirius's shoulder. With a buzzing sound, the two disappeared from the spot, leaving only wisps of purple light.
