Hogwarts...
"What is that thing? Is it the magic level of this world?" Kaisen said, chugging green tea with a bewildered expression.
"Can your glasses see what that figure is?" Dumbledore asked calmly.
"...Two people, one is a Wizard, and the other is also a Wizard... but his essence is concealed. I don't know how he did it."
Kaisen replied.
Boom!
The Phoenix's golden-red flames appeared once again. Lupin, holding a large turkey...a large Phoenix, appeared in the office.
"Look at this." He pulled out a photo, which was the one taken in the valley just now. What was originally a picturesque place now looked like a giant sinkhole.
Kaisen looked at the photo and had no doubt that the unknown Wizard was contributing to England's geological diversity, as this pit could become a lake if it rained for a few years.
To be honest, coming to this world, Minecraft, Holmes, Hogwarts, and then looking at the two figures above the valley today...
He was truly afraid that a Kamar-Taj would appear in a few days, with that magic array covering the sky.
"Why did they suddenly attack us?" Lupin said, stroking his chin, utterly puzzled.
"Perhaps it was a coincidence? After all, the valley is so high, and I only truly saw those two figures with my monocle. And we were under the trees, so it's possible they didn't see us clearly." Kaisen said tentatively.
"That first laser beam was almost aimed at your head! Can't you be more careful, Kaisen!" Lupin grabbed Kaisen's shoulders and shook him.
"Hmm... you really don't particularly value your own life." Dumbledore commented sharply.
"Alright, even if that's the case... what can I do? That kind of destructive power... although I can also do it, it's instant. Lord Voldemort is nothing compared to that guy." Kaisen began to awkwardly change the subject.
Dumbledore and Lupin exchanged glances, both understanding that he didn't want to dwell on this topic.
Both sighed in unison.
"You said before the holidays that you were going to look for clues about the Basilisk." Dumbledore, following Kaisen's lead, brought up another matter.
"Yes, it's resolved." Kaisen took off the monocle from his eye. Although this monocle was almost identical to the previous one, it never felt as comfortable to wear.
"Please wait a moment, gentlemen. I'm going out for a bit and will be back soon. Then we can study the Chamber of Secrets." He said, then directly used Ender Teleportation to leave the office.
At this point, only Dumbledore and Lupin remained. The two exchanged glances, and the former directly pulled out a magic contract.
"Next year's Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor." Dumbledore said.
"Me... do I have that level?" Lupin hesitated.
"Compared to Quirrell and Lockhart, your level is more than sufficient." Dumbledore said.
"...You can just continue to be Kaisen's bodyguard for another year?" Dumbledore said.
"He's at Hogwarts, why would he need a bodyguard?" Lupin asked, puzzled.
Dumbledore shrugged helplessly: "What house do you think Kaisen would be in if he were sorted?"
"Hmm... Hufflepuff... Ravenclaw? Although I hope he's a Gryffindor..." Lupin said.
"He really does have Gryffindor traits. Do you know about his special teleportation method?"
"Hmm, he seemed to say before that he used an Enchanting Table?" Lupin recalled their conversation in Brazil and nodded.
"From the moment he enchanted his own body with the magic of an ender pearl, I understood what kind of person Kaisen truly is. He loves life, but only other people's lives, not his own." Dumbledore said faintly.
"Hmm... is that so?"
"The success rate of his first self-enchantment with the Enchanting Table, according to him, was twenty-four percent. Do you remember when he used the Enchanting Table to cure your lycanthropy? He even specifically involved me then."
"But from his first human enchantment until now, he's done it all himself. The most recent time, if Neville hadn't told me, I wouldn't have known."
Lupin nodded: "Oh... you want me to watch him so he doesn't try any dangerous experiments on himself... Can I even keep an eye on him?"
Dumbledore shrugged: "Why not? What was your Alchemy grade when you graduated?"
"O."
"That's right then. Kaisen needs a like-minded... Alchemy assistant! I think you're very well suited for this responsibility."
"Me?" Lupin extended a finger, pointing at himself in confusion: "But Kaisen's Alchemy... look at all the things in this room, is there anything I can understand? Compared to him, I don't know a damn thing about Alchemy!" Lupin said with a helpless expression.
"Speaking of which, I think you're the best person for this. You, Principal, have nothing to do since becoming Principal, just napping and drinking milkshakes in the office all day... you're more suitable." Lupin, uncharacteristically, began to joke.
Dumbledore pouted: "He dislikes me. He said... 'Dumbledore doesn't know a damn thing about Alchemy!' He even wrote that in his thesis."
"Then aren't I the same? Kaisen will say then... 'Lupin doesn't know a damn thing about Alchemy!'"
"That's different, Remus. You're still young."
"Are you saying I'm young, so I can still learn, but you're old, and your learning ability isn't as strong anymore? Is that why you want me to go?" Lupin asked.
Dumbledore shook his head: "That's not it. What I mean is, you're still young and thick-skinned. If you get cursed at, then you get cursed at. I'm different. I'm old and need to maintain some dignity, lest I ruin my reputation in my later years."
.....
....
Lupin couldn't help but give Dumbledore a thumbs up: "As expected of you."
"Thank you for the compliment."
"Oh, Professor... that... how is Harry doing now?" Lupin remained silent for a long time before finally speaking the words.
"He was supposed to be at Hogwarts, but it seems he was invited to Longbottom Manor for Christmas... Do you want to go see him?"
Lupin quickly shook his head: "No... no, Professor, I... not for now. I don't have the face."
"That's not your fault." Dumbledore shook his head and sighed.
Buzz!
Kaisen returned to the office, holding his magic manual again, with his original lens clipped to his eye.
"Alright, gentlemen, uh... the place we're going, logically speaking, we shouldn't be going... but we still have to go."
"Where?"
"The girls' lavatory."
