Chapter 121 - Chapter 121 Another Me in the World

The three looked at each other, then Dumbledore and Lupin looked at Kaisen with surprise.

"…How do you know?"

"Did you examine it carefully?"

Kaisen looked at the two with strange expressions: "It's that abandoned lavatory, the one Myrtle lives in, and I swear on my character, it has absolutely nothing to do with me… Holmes deduced it, and besides that, shouldn't you be thinking about why Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets would be in a girls' lavatory?"

"It seems he's the biggest pervert of all."

"We were just making a hypothesis," Dumbledore explained.

"...It better be."

The three ambled out of the alchemy office. Just as Kaisen was about to step over the threshold, he seemed to pass through a film of water.

"This is truly another me in this world."

He looked blankly at the blue sky and white clouds before him, and the floating island beneath his feet. Clear spring water flowed from an unknown source, heading to an unknown destination.

A Kaisen, who looked slightly older than him, appeared before him.

"I know you have something to say, but don't say it yet. I am you, about ten years from now. When Neville is in his seventh year, which is 1998, that crazy idea in your head will be realized, meaning you successfully enabled everyone in the world to gain magic."

"Oh..."

"Don't interrupt... Then the Wizarding War broke out. I'm telling you, that war conservatively killed a billion people. So now I advise you to quickly abandon that crazy idea."

"Because if you don't abandon it soon, the current me is a civil official, reasoning with you. The me from nine years later, who will arrive soon, is General Kaisen, coming to hunt you down!" The future Kaisen spoke without pause.

"...Wow..." Kaisen was somewhat bewildered. He touched his forehead: "Is this Heaven? That Heaven portal made of fluorite and water?"

"That's not the point. The point is you need to abandon this idea."

Kaisen shook his head wildly: "In fact, I've already given up on that idea. After all, a billion deaths worldwide... that's too extreme."

The future Kaisen looked at him deeply: "Really?"

"Otherwise? Forget a billion people, I can't even accept a hundred. Isn't that why I said I'm not Slytherin material? I don't have that sacrificial trait by nature."

The future Kaisen nodded: "Are you sure you've abandoned that idea now?"

"Yes, I'm sure. But why, if I've already abandoned this idea, meaning the Wizarding War won't happen in the future, then you shouldn't come to tell me this information. Isn't this a Time Paradox?"

"Because this is Heaven, an independent small world isolated from the real world. So the information we have here won't be affected by the timeline of the universe. This is the only way I could find to avoid a Time Paradox."

The future Kaisen said as he pulled out a Command Block, holding it in his hand as if checking for information. Soon, his face fell.

"I am you from ten years later, the civil official who reasons. On this timeline, there should also be a you from nine years later, General Kaisen. He should have already found you."

"Hmm... I guess so? He just used some incredibly powerful magic and almost erased me. If it weren't for Dumbledore."

The future Kaisen sighed: "Still a step too late. That guy has become a Time Ghost."

"...Are you talking about 'English'? Why don't I understand?" Kaisen asked, bewildered.

"Let me explain. Because the way he came here is different from mine. He used the 'Time Stream Pocket Watch' from the Equivalent Exchange mod, which can manipulate time, to return here. It's time reversal, not Time Travel. So strictly speaking, he's not affected by the Time Paradox."

"...Didn't understand." Kaisen said, scratching his chin.

"It means that you've abandoned the idea, preventing everything in the future from happening. So our timeline... is gone."

"Normally, if I were to use a Time Converter to travel through time, relying on the time rules of this world itself, then after my timeline disappears, I would naturally also disappear. That's why I'm still in Heaven, so I haven't disappeared yet."

"But General Kaisen, who is hunting you, the Kaisen from nine years later, he won't disappear and isn't subject to the timeline. He's trapped in this space-time and can't go back."

"...If the future events won't happen, then he has no reason to kill me, right?" Kaisen pondered,

Hmm, that's how it is.

"But having two Kaisens on the real world's timeline for a long time will cause the timeline to collapse. After all, we're so powerful, one timeline supporting one of us is already exhausting, let alone two," the civil official Kaisen said boastfully.

"...So this timeline can only have one Kaisen? You want me to kill myself?"

"It should be deletion. Right now, General Kaisen is like a bug in the timeline; he must disappear."

"The current problem is that the Time Ghost's thoughts will be fixed at the moment the timeline disappears. So, the current General Kaisen is already a non-communicable time program. His thoughts oscillate between killing you immediately and waiting a bit longer to kill you."

"His priority to kill you is directly proportional to the probability of you creating a future war."

"The most important question now is, how are you supposed to make him disappear? You can't kill him; he has a Command Block now. Although I sealed it, he still has the Wizard's mod. You can't directly confront him..."

"I'll give you a plan: You create the magic seeds that can turn everyone in the world into Wizards, tricking the timeline into restoring the future war timeline. Once we are dragged back by our timeline, you destroy that device. That way, those of us who don't belong to this timeline will disappear along with that future error."

"But the problem with this is, the further along your magic seeds are, the stronger his killing intent towards you becomes."

"But won't you die too?" Kaisen didn't pay attention to the General's killing intent towards him, but instead asked directly.

"What does that matter? It was my mistake to begin with. It's normal to pay the price."

Saying this, the future Kaisen rummaged in his pocket and pulled out a small golden figure.

"My goodness, you even have a Totem of Undying?"

"Oh, it's nothing special, just basic operations." The future Kaisen rummaged again and pulled out a beautifully bound book.

"Newborn Magic Art. When you're idle, don't research that Mystical Era too much; it's too dangerous. Also, don't blindly research future Command Blocks and Equivalent Exchange."

The future Kaisen handed over the Totem of Undying, the Newborn Magic Art instruction manual, and the knowledge of the magic seeds that could grant everyone magic to the current Kaisen, urging him.

[Obtained Newborn Magic Art instruction manual, Newborn Magic Art mod, unlocked successfully.]

"Alright, you now have a basic self-defense ability. You'll have to walk the rest of the path yourself."

The next moment, Kaisen only heard a hum in his ears, and he was back in his office.

"Kaisen, what's wrong?" Lupin turned his head and asked.

Kaisen, however, looked at the Totem of Undying and the Newborn Magic Art instruction manual in his hand, shaking his head in confusion.
