Chapter 143 - Chapter 143 Crow's Mouth

"Do you think it's possible?" Grindelwald asked.

"Possible." Kayson nodded seriously, "For pureblood heirs with vast resources, they can buy anything they need with Galleons."

"And yet they choose to take my class. I believe this is a manifestation of their own will; they like Alchemy, they found their hobby, they found the heart that was wrapped up by their family's will."

"It's like another time that left a particularly deep impression on me. This year is my second year at Hogwarts, and the Professors, along with the Little Wizardss, held a Sorting Ceremony for me."

"What impressed me most about that Sorting Ceremony wasn't the Sorting Hat unique to me, but the Slytherin long table."

"The Slytherin long table was divided into two parts; one part took off the masks forcibly imposed on their faces by their families, and they left the long table to start celebrating."

"Of course, I'm not saying I'm incredibly popular, and all Little Wizardss should celebrate my Sorting. In fact, most Little Wizardss just used me as an excuse to start an unrestrained, free celebration."

"But the Slytherin long table was indeed divided into two parts. One part took off their masks and began to celebrate, while the other part wore the masks given to them by their families, clumsily imitating the expressions of a thirty or forty-year-old family head at the age of eleven or twelve."

Kayson spoke until his throat was dry, and he naturally picked up a drink from a passing flight attendant's cart, also handing one to Grindelwald.

"Let me guess, most of those who joined the celebration were the ones who enrolled in your class?" Grindelwald asked.

"Yes."

"Haven't you thought of making some changes? Changing their arrogant pureblood ideas?"

"For that, I specifically prepared a lesson plan… Starting from the next semester, I put a lot of effort into it to avoid provoking their rebellion. I've never been this diligent with an Alchemy lesson plan before," Kayson said.

"Oh come on, Dumbledore told me you've never even written an Alchemy lesson plan."

"...Why does he tell you everything?"

Deep in the night in Brazil.....

"This address, sir."

Kayson handed the address to the taxi driver, and soon the two, after some time, finally found the hotel.

Grindelwald took a quick shower and went to sleep. As for Kayson next door...

His routine wasn't healthy; after all, he had been unconscious on the plane for nearly ten hours, so he couldn't fall asleep even if he wanted to.

But he wasn't without things to do, such as listening to the background noise of the TV and starting to research the route for entering the Amazon Rainforest tomorrow.

Then the next day.....

"Why don't we just ride a broomstick, and aren't you able to fly?" Grindelwald asked.

"I can't read a map, can you?"

Grindelwald shook his head.

"Then that's that."

Grindelwald shook his head again, then pulled out his wand.

"Show me the way."

The wand, like a compass, pointed directly towards the Amazon Rainforest.

Grindelwald pulled a broomstick from his pocket, looking at Kayson with a strange expression.

"Don't look at me like that, let's go."

Kayson awkwardly rubbed his chin. After opening the window, he was about to cast an Invisibility Charm on himself, then realized he had a teammate this time, and invisibility wouldn't be convenient.

"Is your Confundo useful in this situation?" Kayson asked.

"It can be." Grindelwald said, pulling out his wand and casually waving it.

"Is that all it takes?" Kayson asked.

"Mm."

Soon, the two of them, on one broom, flew out the window.

Along the way, Grindelwald continuously used his wand to calibrate their direction, while Kayson flew closely beside him, following along.

Noon.

"Does the wood you're looking for have any special characteristics?" Grindelwald asked.

"I don't know the characteristics, but I can use my monocle to find the essence of each tree, at least I won't have to experiment repeatedly like last year... But aren't you a Seer or Prophet? Why don't you just predict it?" Kayson asked.

"Can't."

"Huh?"

"Because... it's boring."

"...Alright, having talent means you can be willful, huh."

Kayson said, waving to Grindelwald, signaling that it was time for them to go down and eat.

The two took out various self-heating foods from their pockets, heated them according to the instructions, and then began the long wait.

"Before, the magic flower in Africa was a sacred totem of a Wizard tribe. So, do you think this Supreme Wood might also be controlled by some Wizard tribe?" Kayson asked during the wait.

Grindelwald paused his action of summoning water to wash his hands...

"Can't you just shut your jinxing mouth?"

"What's wrong with that? The last time in Africa was purely coincidental, and wasn't I just trying to liven up the atmosphere by telling you amusing stories from my classes? Who knew we'd actually encounter a cannibal Wizard tribe."

"Try to speak less of such things in the future. A Wizard's words possess magic." Grindelwald said, uncharacteristically, with earnestness.

"OKOK.....This time absolutely not....shouldn't be....don't worry."

As they spoke, the food on the ground had heated up, and both of them grabbed their spoons and started to devour it.

Evening, perhaps due to Kayson's good luck, or Grindelwald's Heavenly Eye subtly guiding them to the correct location.

Soon, the two saw a massive tree that could be called a towering giant even in the Amazon Rainforest.

Kayson looked up at the enormous tree in the distance, which blotted out the sky. Its bark was dark gray, with dark green patterns, or perhaps fissures would be a more appropriate term.

[Lush Supreme Wood]

His monocle promptly analyzed the entry.

"Look, we found it! This time was much smoother than in Africa," Kayson exclaimed with emotion.

"Its target is also large," Grindelwald agreed.

A diamond pickaxe appeared in Kayson's hand. Then, he flew into the air, intending to cut off a few branches to use as saplings, and then he saw something that made his face flush with embarrassment....

Those were two figures walking out from the main trunk of the Supreme Wood.

"I told you not to talk nonsense... jinxing mouth." Grindelwald, standing on the ground, muttered as he pulled out his wand,
