The old man forcibly blocked the first probing attack, baring his teeth and saying, "Physical death is not the end. If you truly want to kill me, you still need to defeat me in terms of will." The old man shook his head.
"Hmm, you're right, you son of a b*tch!" The next moment, a simple Wither Skeleton Head directly pierced into the old man's chest. The next moment, this old man, who didn't even deserve a name, slowly began to Wither, turning into dust.
"Professor, I think you acted a little too quickly." Harry wryly lifted his wrist, where the silver mark remained stubbornly in place.
"Oh, show me your wand, I want to see what kind of trick this is?" Kayson squatted down and asked.
Harry nodded, and with just a thought, his wand was expelled, with a section of blood vessel still attached to its base.
"Holy crap! That's so cool!" Sirius appeared behind the two of them at some point, exclaiming in admiration as he looked at the wand connected to Harry's blood vessel.
"...Have those guys outside been cleared out? And you're just wandering around here!" Kayson said, his scalp twitching slightly.
"Uh, it's all done. Lupin and the France Auror are counting the bodies outside now, they don't need me." Sirius finished speaking petulantly, then looked at Harry: "This thing is really cool!"
"But it hurts, I feel like I'm going to die just casting Alohomora now." Harry said, grimacing.
"Then we should find a way to get rid of this thing." Sirius instantly changed his expression and said.
"Godfather's love runs deep." Kayson sighed and began to examine the blood vessel on Harry's wrist: "Are there any survivors outside?"
"Emmm, if there aren't any survivors who escaped outside, then this old guy could be said to be the last one to die." Sirius said helplessly.
The three of them fell into an awkward silence for a moment, but fortunately, Lupin, who walked in from outside, broke the atmosphere: "We can go back now. The rest is up to Dumbledore and the Ministry of Magic."
"Are there any survivors?" Kayson asked.
"No." Lupin shook his head.
"Alright…" Kayson sighed, but he quickly patted Harry's shoulder: "Trust me." As soon as he finished speaking, a magic field enveloped them, and almost instantly, they were back in the hotel.
"What happened to Harry?" Lupin's senses were sharp, and he detected a faint feeling of wanting to die enveloping Harry.
"It should be a special magic modification from the Holy Temple Brotherhood. Harry is now integrated with his wand." After Kayson explained, Lupin curiously leaned over to take a look. As soon as he saw Harry's blood vessels connected to his wand, he also uttered that phrase...
"Holy crap, that's so cool!"
"You two said almost the exact same thing." Harry said helplessly.
"Yes…" Kayson carefully examined the connection between Harry's wand and blood vessel through his monocle: "With my expertise in human Alchemy, I have two pieces of news for you. One is that this kind of human Alchemy is irreversible. You need to be careful with Expelliarmus in the future, because when your wand flies out, it's highly likely to pull your blood vessel out with it, and then snap back."
Harry simulated that scene in his mind and couldn't help but feel a chill: "Then what's the good news?"
Kayson raised an eyebrow: "The good news is that I audited medical courses when I was in school. I believe my technique is quite good, and I can help you sever the pain nerves in this section."
"Huh?" Harry was a little stunned: "Professor, how many classes did you take?"
"When the medical students were studying cadavers, I was there installing cabinets for them. In my spare time, I took a look, and at that time, they happened to be discussing pain nerves." After Kayson finished speaking, he casually waved his hand, and small cubes firmly controlled Harry's arm.
"Sorry, Harry, please sleep for a bit!"
Kayson had just finished speaking and hadn't even pulled out his anvil when Lupin, with quick reflexes, cast Stupefy on Harry.
"Oh, it seems we have good chemistry." Kayson said, pulling out a small diamond sword.
Lupin leaned over: "You know medicine?"
Kayson shook his head: "I was just teasing Harry. While I don't know medicine, I do know Alchemy. It's simply a matter of reorganizing Harry's already modified wrist and adding a few small details."
"Then why are you using that small blue knife?" Sirius leaned over and asked.
"Flesh is weak, Alchemy ascends, haven't you heard? I can't really let Harry's life be taken by Expelliarmus, I have to give him some means of counterattack."
Sirius listened to Kayson's seemingly sensible words while watching his increasingly wild technique, and finally broke down and turned his back.
"That's too bizarre!" He exclaimed.
"Is this really just a tiny detail?" Lupin, who had also turned his back earlier, echoed.
The two of them listened to the terrifying sounds that resembled renovation work. They wanted to leave, but they were worried. They wanted to look, but they felt pained. They stood there passively for half an hour, caught in this contradiction.
Until half an hour later, Harry groggily woke up and then looked at the silver mark on his wrist...
"Why does it feel bigger?"
"Because it now has two modes, Mode One and Mode Two, and also a passive mode." Kayson explained.
Harry looked at him blankly: "I don't understand."
"You can just think 'Mode One' or 'Mode Two' in your mind."
Harry nodded, and then his wand quickly slid out. This was normal, and he could still feel a slight strangeness in his wand or wrist. He casually cast a magic spell and exclaimed in surprise: "It doesn't hurt anymore!"
Sirius nodded: "It's good that it doesn't hurt."
Harry didn't answer, but instead, as Kayson instructed, activated Mode Two. The next moment, the original wand was suddenly covered and fixed by a layer of silvery-white scales, transforming into a pure white hidden blade.
"Holy cow! This is cool! Kayson, I want one too!" Sirius lost his composure from the previous second and shouted excitedly.
Unlike Sirius and Lupin, Harry looked at the hidden blade on his wrist with a bewildered expression: "What's the use of this?"
"When you can't defeat someone with magic, perhaps you can choose to engage in close combat and go for a one-for-one exchange… Of course, that's assuming the enemy is very close to you." Kayson stroked his chin, fabricating this reason, as he couldn't very well say it was just for the coolness, could he?
"Alright." Harry, with a thought, retracted the hidden blade: "What about the passive mode?"
"Sirius, cast Expelliarmus on Harry." Kayson said.
Sirius temporarily suppressed the urge to beg Kayson to install a hidden blade for him as well. He pulled out his wand and cast a gentle Expelliarmus.
As the red light of Expelliarmus fell upon Harry, the next moment Harry uncontrollably raised his arm and aimed it at Sirius. Then, a stream of light suddenly shot out from his wrist, hurtling directly towards Sirius.
