Chapter 11 - Demon class Anaconda

Noah was sitting on the top of a tree. He didn't want to be disturbed while he inspected the core.

If he had something like a scanner which would tell him the properties of a material just after scanning it, that would be great.

But since he didn't have anything like that, he would have to use coins to know the answer.

"System, what is the function of this core?"

[This core is a strength attributed core. If you absorb this core, you will get 2 strength points.]

Noah immediately asked, "How do I absorb it?"

[You can keep it in your hand and think about absorbing it.]

"That's all?" Noah lost 100 coins instantly but he got his answers, that was a good thing.

So he kept that core in his palm and closed his eyes and thought about absorbing it.

[Ding! You have obtained two strength points.]

He had 9 strength points before, now it became 11. Meaning one of his punches had 550 kg force.

He was becoming superhuman day by day.

Now came the major part. Could he create a core?

Now that he had seen and used a core, he could try to create one.

He closed his eyes again and thought of creating the exact same core.

[1000 mana points needed.]

Damn! It is really possible to create one. But it needed an insane amount of mana.

But now that he knew it, someday he would use this infinite loop to become the strongest existence here and then return to Earth.

Noah was very excited now.

After calming down, he came down from the tree and started walking again.

Five days passed by.

Noah had been walking during the day and resting on a tree top in the night.

He had killed many bears along the way but didn't get any core again.

It was truly a matter of luck.

He had leveled up again.

Noah was one step closer to reaching level 10.

Noah had been enjoying the journey so far, not so dangerous and not so relaxing.

But now the forest became really dense, so dense that the sunlight couldn't pass through it properly.

The temperature had already fallen below freezing point.

He was entering the center of the forest slowly.

What he learned in these past few days was that the monsters would keep getting stronger the more he entered deeper.

But what could he do? He couldn't become a caveman in the jungle, right? He would have to leave this damn place somehow.

Noah created some electric arrows and poison arrows.

While walking, he suddenly thought, what if he could shoot lightning, ice, fire etc. from his bare hand? That would be so awesome and he wouldn't have to rely on the external weapon so much.

"System, is there any way to shoot lightning from hand?"

[You can learn a lightning elemental skill and you will be able to do that.]

Noah was asking the basic questions, so the price was cheap. He didn't know how much he would have to pay later though. He was learning something new every day.

Now he knew there was something called skill which could allow a person to shoot electricity from his body.

He wished he had read some fantasy books. He could now have many ideas to try, sigh!

It was already evening and Noah felt he was about to enter the territory of another monster or a group of monsters.

So he should do it in the morning.

The sunlight was so dim that it already became dark here, and in the night, probably it would feel like a dead prison.

Noah went to the top of the tree to relax but instantly all the hair on his body stood up, his breath got caught and he felt a deep chill on his spine.

Without thinking anything, he let those knives go and started falling from the tree, but what he saw while falling made him plunge into despair.

It was an anaconda.

Not just any anaconda, it was 100% a demon class anaconda.

He hadn't seen it before, but that thing was at least 100 meters in length to spiral that tree like that.

And when he was falling, the anaconda's huge mouth just bit at the place where he was before.

If he didn't let go of those knives, it would have gulped him down.

Noah was about to hit the ground and he created an air pillow beneath him and fell onto that.

This didn't cause him any injury, but his heart was still racing.

He needed to run, he couldn't defeat such a monster right now.

He stood up and started running in the opposite direction from where he came.

He would think of a way later, but first run.

The anaconda was coming down from the tree with super speed. It was at least as thick as a bus.

Red eyes, red patterns on black skin. It looked horrendous.

Noah wanted to curse the system so badly but couldn't, who knew what punishment it might give after that.

Noah saw the demon was following him and was closing the distance, he wasn't fast enough.

Without thinking anything, he created two springs under his boots and boom!

He flew away like a missile, but of course lost control, but who cared about that.

The anaconda saw its prey suddenly fly in the air with very fast speed and it also lost his track.

So it didn't follow any further.

And coiled back where it came from.

On the other hand, Noah fell on the ground hundreds of meters away.

But he again created an air pillow and narrowly escaped death.

His heart was beating like a drum. What was that thing? Is it only one of them out there or was it from a group? Anacondas lived in groups normally.

How would he cross that area if there were some more too?

Besides, what about the area even deeper?

But what Noah didn't know was that area was actually the territory of the white tiger monsters.

The anacondas were pinnacle level predators, so they lived far deeper.

It just came here to prey on those tigers.

That's why Noah thought he didn't enter any territory even after 5 days of walking.

Now he needed to plan things out. He would die for sure if he went there on foot.

What if he used something to fly? But what about flying monsters? He would be so vulnerable if one attacked in the sky.

"Damn it! I need to get some rest and eat something good to let my brain work properly."

Noah then climbed up a tree, but he almost got trauma from the previous event, but he still created two knives and climbed up.
