Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 Mann and Rebecca

Mann was obviously interested in the prosthetic clinic and stood up and looked in the direction of the clinic.

"Any more information?" Mann asked Qiwei.

"I don't have much information. I just know that most of the customers are from the Tiger Claw Gang, and they seem to have a good reputation."

"I'll go take a look."

Mann nodded and walked towards the clinic.

Mann has always had an obsession with becoming stronger, even to the point of being a bit pathological.

He is still thinking about installing prosthetics on his body, but the suppliers he has been working with recently have no good prosthetics to offer.

Mann decided to go and see what the newly opened clinic was like. Maybe it would have what he wanted, so it wouldn't hurt to take a look.

"I'm going too."

Rebecca raised her little hand to indicate that she wanted to go too.

Qi Wei expressed no interest in this.

"Then go ahead."

After leaving a word, Qiwei turned around and went back to drinking.

Dolio, who originally wanted to get up and go with Mann, did not move after seeing Rebecca was going.

It is enough for two people to go together. Anyway, they are nearby and can provide support in the first time if anything happens.

Mann and Rebecca walked side by side towards Rocky's clinic.

The two men came to the door of the clinic, and at that moment the door was opened, and a man with a lot of prosthetic parts walked out.

The man glanced at the palm of his left hand, clenched it a few times in the air, and seemed very satisfied with his newly installed prosthetic grip.

Suddenly a heavy hand rested on the man's shoulder.

Feeling heavy pressure, the man looked up at the dark-skinned strong man wearing sunglasses in front of him.

"What do you want?"

The man who was stopped by a stranger sounded a little unhappy, but he didn't get angry directly.

As a fellow cyberpunk from Night City, he wasn't too afraid of the much taller guy in front of him. But there was no need to provoke a conflict directly, after all, he wasn't a cyber maniac.

Seeing the man's unhappy expression, Mann didn't care. He raised his other hand and slightly lowered his sunglasses to expose his eyes. He looked at the man and smiled. "Don't be nervous. I just want to ask about this prosthetic clinic."

The man's expression softened considerably when he learned that Mann was not looking for trouble.

"It's okay, Wakako introduced me here, if you're also cyberpunks you should know her.

The clinic is actually quite good, though the prosthetics they sell are a bit more expensive than other black clinics. However, the installation skills and medical treatment are both top-notch in Japan. I've heard the repairs are also excellent, but I haven't experienced them myself.

"Thank you." Mann nodded after hearing the man's words.

It has such a good reputation after only three days of opening. It seems that this prosthetics clinic must be of some level. With this thought in mind, Mann pressed the clinic's visit application button.

Rocky, who had just completed a prosthetic surgery in the store, received a visitor request before he had even finished cleaning up the place.

"Could it be that the customer just now was dissatisfied?"

Puzzled, Rocky checked the surveillance footage at the door, but he didn't expect that it was Mann who came.

Although Rocky thought that he would probably run into Mann and the others if he opened a store here, he didn't expect them to come so soon.

Rocky quickly cleaned up the remaining traces of the operation while approving Mann's visitor application.

The clinic door was opened by Mann, and Mann and Rebecca walked into the store.

"Welcome."

Rocky looked in Mann's direction, and only then did he realize that Rebecca was standing next to Mann.

The surveillance footage just now was basically occupied by Mann's huge body. The little Rebecca standing on the other side of the surveillance was completely blocked, causing Rocky to think that only Mann came.

The cyberloli in front of him had light green hair tied in two ponytails, and her petite figure formed a sharp contrast with the tall, dark-skinned strong man next to her.

She wore only black underwear under her loose black jacket, and her red artificial eyes and pink tattoos miraculously did not destroy her cuteness as a loli. Instead, she perfectly combined cuteness with cyber-style beauty.

Looking at the little loli standing at the door, Rocky's heartbeat couldn't help but speed up slightly.

Rocky has lived in the cyberpunk world for over two years, so naturally, he's seen a lot of "beauties" in cyberpunk, including those in Mewtwo and sex dolls.

But he's never encountered one that resonates with him. Perhaps the cyberpunk aesthetic isn't entirely compatible with his system.

In short, when Rebecca, whom he had been thinking about in his previous life, finally stood in front of him, the mysterious system that had been dormant in his body for a long time seemed to have finally awakened.

Rocky's mind was full of thoughts, but they did not affect his actions.

"What can I do for you?" Rocky asked Mann, the leader.

Mann surveyed the store and said, "Let me see what prosthetics you have."

"Hold on."

After quickly cleaning up the operating room, Rocky motioned for Mann to sit on the operating chair.

"Connect your personal connection, and the system will analyze the available prosthetics in the store and show them to you, so you can choose."

Mann took the connection from Rocky, inserted it into the port behind his ear, and began browsing the clinic's inventory on the display screen on the operating table.

Rocky on the side also began to check Mann's physical data.

'Projectile launchers, gorilla arms, leg prostheses, subcutaneous armor...'

Rocky frowned slightly as he looked at the prosthesis installed in Mann's body.

As a cyborg doctor, Rocky is very aware of the extent to which normal people can install prosthetics, and is also very aware of the limits of the human body and the horror of cyberpsychosis.

This is also the reason why Rocky has only installed a cyber eye on his right eye, in addition to the prosthetic arm he was forced to install when he first traveled through time.

Rocky doesn't think he is as special as David, nor does he think he is particularly talented, so Rocky is not willing to enhance himself by installing a large number of prosthetics.

Instead, he chose to learn boxing from Lao Wei to build strength.

Now he saw the prosthetics installed on Mann, although the number was not as much as that of the transformation maniac Adam Hammer, nor as much as that of the Cybertron madman V, and even not as much as that of the future David.

But in the cyberpunk circle of Night City, this number is already quite scary, and in Rocky's opinion, people who install this level of prosthesis often end up becoming cyber maniacs.

Mann has reached his limit at this point. If he doesn't downgrade his prosthetics, it's only a matter of time before he becomes a cybermaniac.

Continuing with the installation of the prosthesis will only speed up the process and there will be no turning back.

While thinking, Mann also finished browsing the list of prosthetics.

"The prosthetics you have here are too weak. Don't you have anything better?"

After looking at the inventory of prosthetics in Rocky's store, Mann was obviously not very satisfied.
