" Where am I?" I asked softly,
I looked around, but this place wasn't familiar.
My throat burnt in discomfort, my neck stiff in pain as I batted my eyelids as they stung from the dried up tears and my head banged from the pain. It wasn't unusual, it just had a cause that I wasn't able to decipher.
" Who's there?" I continued saying, I couldn't see a thing. My vision was blurry, if that was the right word but I was sure that I was seeing the double of everything and my ear began to buzz.
" Oh damn!" I yelled out in pain.
I flipped my body the other way, pressing my face into the fluffy pillow and covering half of my body with the duvet. I needed something, warmth.
But I also needed clearance.
Or probably a reality check.
