Chapter 50 - True gourmet food

"Hey, hey, mister." Naruto jumped up at once and said indignantly, "Big Sister Tsunade just said that the ramen outside the village can't compare to Teuchi-ossan's. Mister, you're doing this on purpose, aren't you?"

"Naruto!" Sakura beside him quickly pulled Naruto down.

This was someone who came with Lady Tsunade. Although they didn't know who he was, looking at his exquisite formal attire, they knew his status was definitely not low.

"That can't be considered a reason." Tsunade also shook her head. "Unless you can prove what you said."

Actually, among everyone here, Tsunade was probably the one who believed Xin's words were true.

After all, he came from another world.

But believing didn't mean she had to speak up for Xin.

This mysterious man always had an unperturbed, almost detached demeanor, as if he didn't belong in this world. It would be quite interesting to see him flustered.

"Exactly, where's the proof!"

Even with Sakura holding him back, Naruto kept shouting indignantly.

Teuchi was one of the people closest to Naruto in the village, besides Iruka-sensei.

"If you want proof, how about tasting it yourself?" Xin said slowly.

"Are you going to cook yourself?" Tsunade was a little surprised.

"No." Xin shook his head, his gaze shifting to Teuchi. "As an ordinary chef, you have indeed reached the limit of an ordinary chef on the path of cuisine, but beyond this, there is an infinitely vast realm. Have you, have you made the resolve to witness the world of true gourmet food?"

At this moment, Xin's aura had changed.

Solemn and dignified.

And a touch of mystery.

Even Naruto was quiet now under the inexplicable atmosphere, his fists clenched, feeling a strange tension.

After a long time.

Teuchi slowly exhaled.

"True gourmet food?" He also became serious, even tidied his chef's uniform, and then looked at Xin with considerable respect. "If such a thing exists, I will naturally witness it."

"Even if you lose confidence in cuisine because of it?" Xin asked again.

"A chef unwilling to face challenges will never improve." Teuchi stated that he was fearless.

"Then—"

Xin raised his palm and gently waved it.

In an instant.

A covered ramen bowl abruptly appeared on the table.

This, this is!?

Teuchi's eyes widened slightly, and everyone else was also startled.

"What is this? Is it a magic trick?" Naruto looked at the large bowl, then at Xin, as if trying to figure out where he had hidden the ramen.

And Sasuke, too, was full of disbelief.

He hadn't seen a sealing scroll.

There was no smoke from using a scroll; he hadn't seen anything clearly.
