Chapter 22 - Extra Chapter: For the Earth

The Ark is like a silent hunter, traveling through the stardust.

Atomic Eve looked at Mark's increasingly solemn back, like a sword about to be unsheathed, and her worries grew even more.

She couldn't help but speak softly, breaking the oppression on the bridge.

"Mark…are you okay?"

Mark turned around slowly.

The golden-red gaze fell on Eve, and the gaze was no longer as deliberately restrained as before, but carried a sense of power that could penetrate people's hearts.

Rudy also stopped what he was doing and looked over nervously.

"I'm fine, Eve."

Mark's voice was still low, but it seemed to have a hint of warmth.

"I know what I'm doing."

His eyes swept over Rudy and the main control light ball representing the robots in the bridge.

"The goal of our trip is clear: to find Anglum's weakness, explore Nolan's whereabouts, track down clues about the Old Ones, and divert the threat away from Earth."

"Every step could lead to a trap, every moment could lead to a fight."

He paused, a determined flame burning in his golden-red pupils.

"I need your strength and your trust. Whether it's Vitrum's warships, Anglum's ambushes, or those unspeakable horrors ahead... we must get through it together."

"For the Earth."

"For the Earth!"

Rudy seemed to have found his backbone and immediately waved his fist, although his voice was a little weak.

"We have the same goal, and the logical program fully supports it." The robot responded coldly.

Atomic Eve looked at the heavy yet extremely clear will in Mark's eyes, and the worry in her heart subsided a little, replaced by a determination to fight side by side.

She nodded vigorously: "Understood! For the Earth!"

At this moment, the alarm lights on the bridge suddenly flashed silently!

The robot's rapid electronic voice rang out.

"Warning! High-energy combat response detected in the Kuiper Belt pre-determined outpost area ahead!"

"Energy signature identification, Vitrum standard energy weapons, and... unknown high-frequency gravitational wave weapons! The identities of the combatants are unknown! Distance 0.3 light minutes!"

Fight?! At the pre-set rendezvous point?

Golden light flashed in Mark's eyes!

Super perception instantly locks onto the front!

"Cancel silent mode! Full engine power! Prepare for battle! Let's go take a look!"

He took a step forward, like a tiger about to pounce on its prey, his voice carrying an unquestionable command.

"Look who's fighting... on our flight path!"

The tail flame of the Ark's engine suddenly became bright and dazzling!

Like a giant beast awakening from the ancient times, it tore open the curtain of stardust and rushed towards the unknown war at an accelerated speed!

Inside the bridge, Rudy hurriedly grabbed his bomb backpack, and Atomic Eve instantly entered combat mode, with energy looming around her.

Mark stood at the bow, his golden-red pupils like burning stars, reflecting the chaotic airspace in front of him, which was illuminated by the energy storm, filled with the wreckage of Vitrum and distorted by unknown gravitational waves.
