The Titan Sanctuary fell into an eerie stillness.
The vast sea of energy no longer flowed indifferently as before, but presented a stagnant, calculated rhythm.
Countless shapeshifting energy lifeforms were like stars frozen in amber, their cold light flickering erratically, emitting an aura of deduction that froze the soul.
The destructive pressure that threatened to end everything had not dissipated; instead, it accumulated even more terrifying power during the pause, like a cosmic-level superweapon held back, its muzzle still locked onto the universe's lifeline.
Space itself groaned under the intense calculations of the Titan's will, tiny spatial fissures appearing and disappearing like black spiderwebs throughout the Sanctuary, exhaling a heart-pounding void.
The light-cord cage binding Nolan still existed, but its light was dim, like a dying circuit.
Nolan floated within it, his body completely covered by writhing, expanding dark tendrils, almost unrecognizable as human, with only a faint heartbeat proving that life had not yet completely extinguished.
Though the torrent of corruption had been interrupted, the forcefully infused Old One's power within him thrashed like an active volcano.
Mark struggled to his feet from the floating metal debris, his entire body wracked with agonizing pain.
His battlesuit was torn in several places, and beneath the scorch marks were bleeding wounds; the sense of Old One's corruption gnawed at his will like a maggot in the bone, cold and relentless.
The resilience of Viltrum kept him upright, and his Kryptonian bloodline, under the pressure of the Titan, struggled to draw faint light from this dead silent space.
His molten-gold eyes were bloodshot as he stared fixedly at the sea of energy lost in thought, then looked at his unconscious father, and finally, at Trigg in the distance.
Trigg's condition was even worse; he floated on a larger piece of debris, his back a horrific charred and festering mess, deep enough to see bone, his blood congealed into strange ice crystals in the vacuum.
His strong body twitched slightly, each breath incredibly difficult.
His composure was completely gone, replaced only by the gasps of a severely wounded beast, the burning agony in his eyes, and the defiant, frantic calculations.
"The calculation... is almost over..."
Trigg's mental message came faintly, like a candle in the wind.
"They... are reconstructing logic... eliminating variables... We... don't have much time..."
As if to confirm his words, the stagnant sea of energy suddenly changed!
No longer ripples, but a tsunami!
A colossal consciousness, like billions of icy lightning bolts, exploded deep within their souls.
"Logic reconstruction... complete."
"Optimal solution corrected, immediately purge variables... synchronize and accelerate container purification process!"
As this thought descended, the entire Titan Sanctuary seemed to come alive, transforming into a giant, cold, flesh and blood furnace.
The space around Mark and Trigg was instantly solidified by an invisible force, as if they were cast in transparent concrete of infinite density.
The resilient bones of Viltrum groaned agonizingly, Mark's Kryptonian body was squeezed immobile by the immense pressure, and Trigg coughed up a large amount of blood-ice, his back wound instantly bursting open.
Countless blades of light, condensed from pure laws of order, materialized out of thin air!
They ignored physical defenses, directly slicing through space itself, coming from all directions, above and below, left and right, like a rapidly shrinking death cage, to slaughter the two imprisoned individuals.
Each blade left a dark, unhealing spatial rift in its wake!
Meanwhile, the light-cord cage that had bound Nolan once again erupted with dazzling light, even more violent than before, and a more viscous Old One's corrupting energy, like an enraged black tide, was forcibly torn and gathered from all corners of the universe.
In an even more brutal manner, it furiously re-infused Nolan's On the verge of collapse body, causing Nolan's body to swell violently, and the dark tendrils to emit a sickening, writhing sound like madly proliferating tumors!
His life force rapidly weakened under the dual torment of corruption and Titan power!
The result of the Titan's logic reconstruction was to throw Mark and Trigg, these two variables, along with Nolan, the unstable container, into the furnace together, to accelerate their incineration!
Using the most direct and violent method, to eliminate all interference and forcibly advance the final purification of the universe!
"Arghhhhhh!!!"
Mark's soul roared, the resilience of Viltrum and the scorching heat of the Kryptonian Sun exploding with a final madness in desperation.
He ignored the spatial confinement crushing his bones, ignored the Old One's corruption eroding his soul, and squeezed every last bit of Solar Energy from his body!
Muscle fibers tore and reformed under power beyond their limits, and molten-gold flames shot from his eyes!
"Let me — break free!!!"
Boom!!!!
The spatial confinement around Mark was forcibly torn open by his pure brute strength, creating a tiny gap; though only for an instant, and at the cost of his entire skeleton emitting bone-breaking cracks and blood gushing from his mouth.
But this momentary loosening allowed him precious space to dodge; he, like a blood-soaked mad lion, twisted and rolled frantically amidst the countless light-blades slicing through space!
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
His blue-black battlesuit was torn by invisible spatial blades, leaving terrifying, bone-deep wounds; blood splattered in the vacuum, each dodge on the brink of life and death!
"Trigg!!"
Mark's mental roar was laced with blood foam.
He saw Trigg in even greater peril under the spatial confinement and law-based strangulation; a fatal law-based light blade was silently cutting towards Trigg's neck.
A desperate madness flashed in the dying Trigg's eyes!
Trigg used his last ounce of strength to violently twist his body to the side!
Rip!
The law-based light blade grazed his shoulder, silently severing his entire left arm along with part of his shoulder blade; blood gushed like a fountain, then froze in the vacuum.
Trigg let out a silent scream, his body convulsing violently from the intense pain and blood loss, almost blacking out!
Mark's eyes were bloodshot with rage; he saw Trigg's horrific severed arm, he saw his father's body on the verge of complete disintegration, and he saw the divine punishment about to descend from above.
Despair?
No! It was a fury beyond despair!
He no longer dodged! His molten-gold eyes locked onto the destructive pillar of light about to erupt above his head, then fiercely looked at his father's figure, consumed by darkness!
"Father—!!!"
Mark's soul let out a blood-curdling cry!
He no longer extracted Solar Energy, but instead transformed the guardian resilience within his Viltrum bloodline, the most fervent desire for life within his Kryptonian bloodline, and all his longing, pain, defiance, and love for his father, into a torrent of life will, pure to the extreme, transcending energy levels!
This torrent of will was not an attack on the Titan, but like a bridge spanning life and death, it crashed recklessly into the dying Nolan in the light-cord cage!
Within the light-cord cage, the dying Nolan Grayson, completely covered by dark tendrils and barely breathing, suddenly opened his eyes!
This time, those eyes were no longer clouded by darkness.
In the deepest part of that madly encroaching corruption, Nolan Grayson's will, like a star completely ignited by his son's desperate cry, erupted with unprecedented light!
That light was not pure, but mixed with the ferocity of the Old One's corruption, the bravery of a Viltrum Warrior, and a father's deepest, most resolute will for his son at the end of his life.
"Mark—live!!!"
A soul's roar, transcending pain and madness, like the first cry of the universe's dawn, exploded directly in the consciousness of all beings.
With this roar, Nolan made a move that completely confounded the Titan's logic!
He no longer resisted the corruption, but instead... actively embraced the immense Old One's power within him.
Using his remaining will as a guide, and the light-cord cage as an amplifier, he transformed his Viltrum body, forcibly modified into a container, into a directional explosive.
"No—!!!"
Mark's soul screamed!
He felt his father's desperate will!
Everything happened in a flash of lightning!
Nolan's body, along with the light-cord cage binding him, was detonated with a roar under the guidance of Nolan's will!
Boom—!!!!!!!!
An indescribable explosion!
It was not on a physical level, but the ultimate mixture of Old One's corrupting energy, Titan's chains of order, Nolan's Viltrum life essence, and a father's will, completely released at the core of the Titan Sanctuary.
An unimaginable singularity of chaos was born at the center of the explosion!
A pure, chaotic, disordered, malevolent black tide of the Old One...
A cold, absolute white light of the Titan, representing the extreme of order...
Purple light particles of Nolan's burned-out life.
The afterimage of Mark's life will, as blazing as the sun!
Four energies of diametrically opposed natures and terrifyingly high levels furiously entangled, annihilated, counteracted, and merged within the singularity!
Forming an all-consuming, indescribably colored chaotic storm!
This storm instantly swept through the entire Titan Sanctuary!
The spatial confinement and law-based light blades that were strangling Mark and Trigg were instantly overwhelmed and devoured!
The pale destructive light pillar about to erupt above them was violently deflected by this sudden chaotic storm, grazing the edge of the area where Mark and Trigg were, and shooting into the depths of the Sanctuary, triggering an even more terrifying chain reaction of energy detonations!
Countless Titan energy lifeforms were caught in the storm, their cold and indifferent wills emitting chaotic fluctuations for the first time, the entire sea of energy was turned upside down, its orderly flow completely disrupted!
The surrounding spatial structure shattered over large areas like fragile glass, huge spatial fissures like greedy maws, devouring everything.
The destructive pressure was completely interrupted by this sudden chaos!
Mark was violently thrown by the terrifying explosion at such close range, like a leaf in a gale, crashing through several large pieces of debris before stopping.
He didn't know how many bones in his body were broken, blood almost soaked his shattered battlesuit, and his consciousness was on the verge of scattering from the intense pain and the shock of the explosion.
He only saw that where his father had been, there was only a frantically swirling, all-consuming chaotic storm, and at the center of the storm, Nolan's last faint glimmer of light, carrying a sense of release and protection.
Trigg was thrown even further by the shockwave of the explosion, blood gushing from his severed arm, the wound on his back completely torn open, his breath extremely weak, and he completely lost consciousness after hitting a large piece of debris.
The Titan Sanctuary plunged into an unprecedented, ultimate chaos, triggered by Nolan Grayson at the cost of his life!
The cold logic of order was completely broken!
The reconstructed optimal solution was forcibly interrupted!
