The next day.
Jack woke up enveloped in softness.
Both of his hands were pressed under Keqing and Lisa respectively.
For an ordinary person, after such a long period of inactivity, suddenly raising their arms would cause a tingling sensation.
But Jack was different.
He possessed the strength to unleash vacuum waves with his bare hands, so even if a few more people were pressing on his hands, it would be effortless.
Looking at his two wives sleeping soundly beside him, Jack couldn't bear to wake them. He simply held them and quietly stared at the ceiling.
About half an hour later.
Keqing woke up first.
"Morning, Jack."
"It's already late. Didn't you say we were going to Liyue today?"
"Ugh, whose fault do you think it is that I couldn't get out of bed this morning?"
Keqing grumbled, then closed her eyes and went back to sleep.
Her smooth, delicate jade leg hooked over, firmly clamping Jack's thigh between them.
This process naturally involved physical contact.
Thus, the hot-blooded young man, provoked by his wife, helplessly pulled her into a morning workout.
Lisa was awakened by their movements.
Rubbing her sleepy eyes, she propped herself up, and what greeted her was two bodies stacked together.
"So energetic so early in the morning. As expected of Jack, who took on two of us last night and still massacred us!"
Lisa licked her dry lips, a charming smile on her face, and leaned forward to lie on Jack's back.
"Come, I'll help you with a back rub!"
...
After their morning workout, Jack carried them both to the bathroom and got them thoroughly clean.
By the time everything was done, it was already noon.
Keqing packed her luggage, and everyone gathered at Lisa's doorstep.
For a long while, the two people looking at each other didn't speak.
Lisa couldn't help but remind them, "You're not separating forever. It only takes a few days to go back and forth from here to Liyue. Even with Keqing handling her business, it probably won't be more than a week or two. Why are you acting like it's a life-and-death farewell?"
Jack let out a long sigh and said, "You're right, I should have thought of that. Keqing is a complete person after all; I can't keep her tied to my side forever. Go do whatever you want to do. I'll wait for you to come back, and then we'll go explore your Liyue together!"
"Okay!"
Keqing nodded heavily.
Then she walked away without looking back.
She was afraid that if she saw Jack's reluctant expression, she would immediately abandon her previous idea.
"Hmm, very decisive. It seems the matter in Liyue is indeed urgent. But that's to be expected, after all, the Yuheng of the esteemed Seven Stars has been missing for so long."
Lisa took Jack's arm.
"So, my dear, when are you planning to leave?"
"I need to go find Albedo first."
The coal-to-diamond converter was still under development, and by the time it was successfully researched, Jack would probably still be in the snowy mountains.
So he planned to pre-store a portion of coal with Albedo, leaving a large pile of elemental fragments that Klee had given him from gacha pulls, asking Albedo to find someone to help convert them.
After returning from his investigation mission in the snowy mountains, Jack would be able to harvest a large batch of diamonds.
"Is it that alchemy device you asked him to make?"
"Yes, with this thing, we should be able to achieve world coin freedom in the future. It might even be possible to convert all of you into MC physiques then."
Lisa imagined Keqing's almost god-like physique and elemental power. She was tempted, but also a little afraid.
She rubbed the casing of her god's eye.
"And what's the price?"
"The price is to be imprisoned by the gods for all eternity, with even your soul unable to escape."
Jack said jokingly.
Lisa sighed, "That's truly terrifying, but it sounds like the fitting end for a witch."
...
Before long, Jack, led by Lisa, arrived at Albedo's alchemy workshop.
Jack nudged Lisa with his elbow and whispered in her ear, "How come Albedo's workshop feels much bigger than yours? Don't the Knights of Favonius have much funding?"
Lisa rolled her eyes at him.
"Do you think an alchemist is some commoner's profession? Albedo is much richer than you imagine, not to mention he's also a renowned painter. Any one of his paintings can be considered a masterpiece."
"Hiss, my great-nephew is that amazing?"
"What kind of address is 'great-nephew'? You didn't actually have something going on with Alice-nushi, did you?"
Lisa looked at him suspiciously.
Jack waved his hand and said, "You're overthinking it. Alice isn't even sure when she'll be implemented. She's not even in MiHoYo's five-year plan, so she's probably a 'lifetime achievement' character."
Lisa roughly understood his abstract statement and also felt it was unlikely.
After all, Alice had been in Mondstadt much earlier.
When Klee was born, Jack was probably still underage. If she really were Jack's daughter, then Alice-nushi would be a bit too monstrous.
Shaking her head, Lisa dismissed these disrespectful thoughts about her senior and looked at Albedo, who was walking towards them.
"Oh? It's you, where's Albedo?"
Jack immediately noticed that this "Albedo" didn't have a birthmark-like blemish on his neck, so he knew this must be the Albedo-junior or Albedo-flower from the snowy mountains before. It seemed the other party had been adopted by Albedo and occasionally played at being a stand-in.
"He's in the lab, with no free time. You're here to store some materials, right? I'll take you to the warehouse."
"As expected of Albedo, he even knows why I'm here. Let's go."
Lisa followed behind them, utterly bewildered.
She felt like she might be falling behind the times.
Could there really be two Albedos?
Before long, after passing through a small alley, they arrived in front of a giant building.
"Here we are, this is the warehouse."
"You built the warehouse so far from the lab, and even across a street. Aren't you afraid of passersby disturbing you usually?"
"Passersby? Why would there be passersby? This entire street belongs to Albedo."
Using Albedo's face and then calling himself Albedo, this guy had unconsciously learned the skill of acting cute, getting one step closer to being a true human. Congratulations!
"Richie, I was rude. Let's continue."
Jack looked sympathetically in the direction of the Knights of Favonius.
He finally understood why the Knights of Favonius's funding was always so tight.
It turned out that all of Mondstadt's capitalists were outside; the Knights of Favonius were left with nothing but the legitimacy of the Anemo Archon and freedom, truly.
Next was the tedious time of moving.
Jack summoned his Serenitea Pot.
He dragged the fishing enthusiast who was lounging around getting ready to go out into the warehouse to help stack coal.
With the appearance of the third "Albedo," efficiency increased significantly. In less than an hour, the 360 stacks of coal blocks Jack had taken out were piled into a small mountain.
The 360 stacks of coal cost 1.8w world coin at the shop, leaving over 6k balance.
Once the machine finished converting, he would get 40 stacks of diamonds, which would sell for 5.12w world coin directly. This cycle, as long as elemental fragments were sufficient, meant infinite world coin.
On the other hand.
A certain blonde Traveler, who had been forcibly dragged to work, was having fishing withdrawal symptoms and complaining.
"Are we done? If we're done, I'm going back to fish. I refuse to believe I can't catch that big shark."
"Shark? Where exactly can you fish for sharks?"
Lumine thought for a moment and replied, "The river at home connects to the sea, doesn't it? Of course, I went there."
"Allow me to ask, what does the shark you're talking about look like?"
"It's roughly blue-black, very big, probably at least dozens of meters long, and it has a few pairs of wings! It's super cool!!"
Jack's face darkened: "That's a freaking Leviathan! A beast that can swallow sharks whole and shoot lightning, you idiot!"
Sometimes he really wanted to pry open Lumine's head and see what was inside.
How could she be so confident in trying to reel in an ocean behemoth weighing at least tens of tons with a flimsy fishing rod from home?
No wonder she occasionally came back to him with injuries, asking for healing.
So, she couldn't reel it in and got taught a lesson by the Leviathan when she went into the water to catch fish, huh?
