Chapter 152 - Chapter 152: The Whole Story

Chapter 152: The Whole Story

"Get up first and tell me what's going on!" Ryan said, feeling overwhelmed.

Not only Ryan, but also Lillie, Ruby, and Sapphire were completely bewildered.

"Yes," said Zinnia, recalling Salamence and Goodra, and began to explain the whole story.

Long, long ago, a meteor shower streaked across the night sky. Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre were at war. The Draconid people were originally a group of Dragon-type Pokémon trainers living in Meteor Falls.

Later, the ancient Pokémon Rayquaza stopped them. Thousands of years later, a meteor fell to what is now Sootopolis City, awakening Groudon and Kyogre. The Lorekeeper stood on the Meteorite and prayed for Rayquaza's return, praying for its Mega Evolution. After the fierce battle, Groudon and Kyogre returned to the depths,

while Rayquaza returned to the sky. The Draconid people built the Sky Pillar to summon their deity. A mural on the pillar foretold that a meteor would strike the world in a thousand years, and they planned to summon Rayquaza to protect the planet.

Hearing this, Ryan felt confused. What had Groudon and Kyogre fought over? Where had the original Legendary Pokémon gone?

But everything remained a mystery. Even the time-traveling Celebi could not learn of that history; it was as if sealed from all.

Perhaps, Ryan thought, there was one who knew. Only Arceus, the so-called Creator, could possibly know that history. Perhaps, even more so, the ancient Legendary Pokémon knew, but they would never speak of it.

Before recounting recent events, Zinnia mentioned someone who changed her life—Aster!

Zinnia and Aster had always lived together. Aster possessed special abilities, making her the heir to the prophecy of the Draconid people, who would Mega Evolve Rayquaza and help them prevent the meteor crisis.

Nine years ago, Aster traveled to the Embedded Tower in Johto and befriended Rayquaza, the "Dragon Lord," who resided there. Meanwhile, a team implementing the "Rayquaza Capture Plan," funded by the Berlitz family, with technical assistance from Devon Corporation and other companies, and led by the Pokémon League, arrived at the Embedded Tower. Led by President Stone, the team attacked Rayquaza using a device that harnesses Infinity Energy to weaken its opponent.

Amidst a cloud of ozone, Aster used her Mega Anklet and a large number of Key Stones to Mega Evolve Rayquaza and attempted to break free. However, her attempt failed, and Rayquaza was captured by the Pokémon League, and Aster died in the process. The video footage of the incident and the headband worn by Aster were kept in the Pokémon League research building in the Johto region, and the Key Stone Aster once used also fell into Devon Corporation's hands.

After Aster's death, Zinnia also came to the Embedded Tower. After seeing the tragic situation there, Zinnia was greatly shocked and even lost the ability to speak for a time. After Zinnia recovered Aster's Mega Anklet and sent Salamence to attack the research building, she returned to the Hoenn region to inherit Aster's identity and responsibilities and began to act as the "Lorekeeper."

As for Salamence, it was indeed sent by Zinnia to attack the Pokémon League laboratory where Rayquaza was imprisoned, and had a battle with the young Ruby.

Having heard this much, Ryan sorted out his thoughts and said while rubbing his temples: "In other words, the meteor will strike the world again? Are you also working hard to find Rayquaza?"

"Yes, my lord." Zinnia said, "But, since you are chosen by the Dragon Lord, do you know the specific location of the Dragon Lord?"

"Currently, it should be at the Sky Pillar." Ryan said, "Haven't you gone there to look for it?"

"We went, but didn't find any trace of the Dragon Lord." Zinnia said dejectedly.

"Then wait," Ryan said, "it will appear soon."

Zinnia's face darkened, and she said, "The meteor will fall soon. Can the Dragon Lord really stop it?"

Ryan looked at Zinnia and said, "Zinnia, what are you doing here now?"

"My lord, I'm collecting powerful Electric Pokémon," Zinnia said. "I'm also helping Team Magma and Team Aqua, helping them awaken Kyogre and Groudon. The Dragon Lord will surely come and resolve the conflict!"

Ryan looked up in silence, nearly letting out a curse. He couldn't help but acknowledge the extreme thinking in the Pokémon world, but it was probably her desperate measure.

However, considering he really needed those two Pokémon to awaken, he couldn't blame her. Ryan thought for a moment and said, "Zinnia, would you like to join us? I need your strength."

"If you are willing to help the Dragon Lord, then I will," Zinnia said.

Ryan nodded and released the small Rayquaza. Upon seeing the young Rayquaza, Zinnia's tears instantly flowed, and she choked out, "Dragon Lord!"

Ryan then explained his plan to Zinnia. Initially, Ryan simply intended to leverage the power of the three Legendary beasts to counter the League, allowing him to live more freely. But gradually, a greater ambition formed: why not establish an organization? Using his own breeding center as a starting point, he could recruit talented individuals and challenge the League.

Initially, this idea wasn't very clear, but after being inspired by Courtney, the idea of establishing an organization truly took hold. He had already decided on key personnel: the protagonists. He intended to recruit as many of them as possible, as they were all chosen by fate, all formidable individuals.

After hearing this, Zinnia agreed. With the Dragon Lord involved, an organization was worth serving. However, her current mission was to help Team Magma and Team Aqua awaken Groudon and Kyogre from their slumber as soon as possible. She also informed him of the situation with the two Orbs.

Zinnia nodded and said, "Don't worry, my lord. I will help Team Magma and Team Aqua awaken the two beasts as soon as possible."

Ryan nodded and handed her several bottles of Full Restore and Burn Heal. After Zinnia healed Salamence, she jumped onto its back. The Mega Anklet on her right ankle connected with Salamence, and Salamence instantly Mega Evolved into Mega Salamence, vanishing from sight in a streak of light.

Ryan looked at the large hole in the ceiling and was shocked by the girl's dramatic exit.

"Ryan, is she trustworthy?" Lillie asked with some concern.

"She should be." Ruby said seriously, "The bond between her and Salamence isn't something that can be formed overnight. In other words, what she said about sending Salamence to attack the research building is true."

"Okay. So, Sapphire, do you want to join us?" Ryan turned to Sapphire and asked.

"Can I refuse?" Sapphire said nonchalantly, "There's no harm in joining anyway, right?"

"Then welcome aboard." Ryan extended his hand to Sapphire and said.
