Chapter 256: God of Life
After resolving the issues in the cave world, Ryan, along with Yellow and Silver, headed to the next dimension.
On the plains, Gold and Kris commanded Entei and Raikou against Reshiram and Zekrom. The other legendary Pokémon silently observed the battle.
Suddenly, Mewtwo sensed something and looked up at the sky. An Ultra Wormhole suddenly appeared in the sky, and Solgaleo led the group into this dimension.
Mewtwo: "Gold, Kris. No need to fight anymore, your friends have come to pick you up. It seems our time to leave has come!"
Solgaleo stopped in mid-air. Ryan looked at Gold and Kris below and said, "Gold, Kris. We're here!"
However, his gaze swept over and he saw Mewtwo. Ryan was unsurprised by this. After all, it was a parallel dimension, and the appearance of Mewtwo was perfectly normal. It could only mean that Team Rocket existed in this parallel world before.
Solgaleo landed, and Ryan and the others jumped off its back. Ryan addressed the legendary Pokémon, "Hello, although it feels a bit abrupt, I'd like to ask if you'd like to come with us? If so, we can begin the transfer now."
Ryan's fourth main quest was complete, having captured so many legendary Pokémon. While it was unclear whether they would follow him afterward, the quest itself was finished. The remaining main quest, the final one, was obtaining the Pokémon Master title, with only one reward: unlocking the ability to purchase Master Balls!
Mewtwo looked at Ryan with some confusion and asked, "I sense a similar aura on you, but there are two kinds. Shouldn't there only be one clone like us?"
Ryan smiled: It seemed this Mewtwo was somewhat similar to the one in the original story, both being quite concerned about their origins.
Ryan released Mewtwo, which appeared before him and telepathically asked, "Dad, what's wrong?"
"Dad? You're from Team Rocket?!" Mewtwo frowned.
Ryan shook his head and said, "No, this Mewtwo was accidentally transformed back into a Pokémon egg by me, and then hatched. You two can talk about the details. I have another Mewtwo at my manor; its experience is the same as yours, so you should get along well."
With that, Ryan approached the giant deer-like Pokémon. He hadn't expected that Giratina would mention the origin of life, and he'd encounter it so soon.
Xerneas was a deer-like, quadrupedal Pokémon with blue and black coloring. It had eight antlers like tree branches extending from its head, each antler ending in two branches. Each antler was beige, adorned with protrusions of four colors—orange, red, purple, and light blue—the colors reversed on the left and right sides. The color gradually changed from bright at the base to dull at the tip. Xerneas's head was deep blue, with two horns growing on either side of its cheeks, their roots extending to its eyes and nose. Its eyes were the same color as its fur. Its pupils were X-shaped, and its body also resembled an X when viewed from the front. The blue portion of its body extended outwards from its chest and curled upwards at the ends.
The rest of its body was black, with a blue stripe along its spine and a small, bushy black tail at the end of the blue stripe. Its limbs resembled hooked hooves pointing forward at the tips, their main edges being beige, like the horns, forming a cross shape, with the lower edges of its forelimbs displaying elegant patterns.
Ryan said earnestly to Xerneas, "I want to capture you. Not just to take you out, but to truly capture you; I need your power."
The Pokémon Masters Tournament is the grandest event prepared for trainers with Champion-level strength. The competition adopts a double battle system, with a total of six rounds, meaning that twelve Pokémon are required.
Although he currently has more than thirty main Pokémon, and countless more in his manor, only Deoxys and Kyurem are truly capable of reaching the Masters stage. Deoxys is still unstable and might lose control at any moment. The only one he can truly rely on is Kyurem.
And this Xerneas, according to the system scan, is definitely a Tier-1 deity with mastery of its domain. Moreover, it is in a weakened state, not even using much of its origin power. Meanwhile, Ryan's current Kyurem has not had its strength diminished by this damaged world, and is clearly stronger than Xerneas. Now is the best opportunity to capture it!

Everyone and the legendary Pokémon stopped making a sound upon hearing Ryan's words and all looked over.
Xerneas stood up, brushed off the grass, and said gently, "Do you think you can beat me?"
"Come out, White Kyurem." Ryan immediately sent out White Kyurem.
The two giant beings, roughly the same height, stood together, their eyes meeting. They both saw in each other's eyes that their opponent was not so easily defeated.
"Alright, I'll give you one chance. If you lose, don't bother me again," Xerneas said. It then stomped its foot heavily, its body turning pink and radiating a halo that swept across the entire space, turning it pink.
"Fairy Aura? If I win, then please keep your promise, become my Pokémon, and fight for me! White Kyurem, Freeze Shock!" Ryan shouted.
White Kyurem's body turned orange-red, creating a purplish-red aura around it, and then released many purplish-red energy beams towards Xerneas. Xerneas, seeing the incoming energy beam, knew it couldn't dodge. It let out a loud cry, and moonlight gathered between its horns, forming a pink energy sphere with Moonblast, which then crashed into the Freeze Shock.
The two collided, creating a massive explosion. Xerneas looked at the shards of ice that had formed on its body; it knew it had been at a disadvantage in the collision.
"Interesting," Xerneas murmured.
Then, the color of Xerneas's horns changed from light blue to multicolored, and vibrant spots appeared on its back. This was its Active Mode; it was getting serious!
