It looked like he was about to die, if there was one regret that would haunt him in death, it would be that he was about to die a virgin, even the grim reaper might laugh at him.
The blue light came closer, it had begun to shine less now, after looking at it, Asher figured out that it wasn't a star but a small sphere, it looked big as it was shining intensely before.
In just ten seconds, it caught up to him and began floating parallel to him. It was just a sphere twice his height. He couldn't see what was inside, but there was one thing he was sure of, it had come for him.
The fact that it didn't overtake him but was floating beside him was proof of it, just as he thought, the blue sphere began to spin around him as if contemplating something.
Asher just hoped that he wasn't to its liking, or who knew what would happen, what if this light was just as radioactive as gamma rays, then he was done for.
The blue sphere stopped spinning and swooped down on his head, Asher's eyes squinted as he braced himself for any possibility, he couldn't move or change direction anyway, he just hoped that this purple mist that was protecting him from the void would protect him from this blue sphere... but his hopes were crushed.
His whole body was enveloped in the blue sphere, for a second he didn't feel anything before he felt sleepy, and his eyes closed against his will, Was this death?
After ten minutes, Asher's eyes fluttered open again, "Am I alive?" When he saw the purple mist and still-passing stars, he was sure he had survived the blue sphere.
"What the fuck is happening to me? First, this shitty purple mist kidnapped me, and then a fucking blue sphere violated me..."
He didn't have any clue what would happen now, was there even a destination, or was he going to float in the void forever, "Oh well, I might die of thirst sooner or later, so there is no need to worry about eternity."
As he was watching the stars, he noticed something, his speed was decreasing as the speed at which the stars were moving slowed down.
It might be possible that he was close to his destination, suddenly his eyes went straight as there was a small planet exactly in his way.
His eyes widened, the fact that this planet was approaching slowly while the stars were still moving faster than it proved that this planet was anything but small, there was another star nearby it, and it was humongous... maybe it was the sun for this planet.
It might be even further than his imagination, even though he could see it. There were two shining moons revolving around the world, one was bright white while the other was bright red.
After five minutes, he was finally able to see the vast ocean and continents, it looked like it wouldn't be any different from Earth.
When Asher thought that he would go through the atmosphere, a portal appeared and engulfed him...
...
Nytheris was looking at the disappearing Fate Stone with an unreadable expression, the fact that it was disappearing was proof that it was summoning someone, and that someone was about to arrive.
It also meant that someone who had soul resonance with her existed in this whole universe, her eyes were fixed on the Fate Stone as only small bits of it were left, suddenly it crumbled, and a portal appeared before a boy was flung out.
Avelisse's eyes widened in surprise while Nytheris frowned as she sensed something before it disappeared from her senses, she was sure there was something that made her instincts tingle a little.
Maybe it was something in the void when the portal opened, she ignored it for the time being and looked at the human boy who had come out, she sighed internally, there was no doubt he was her fated, she could feel it.
When Asher dropped onto the smooth red carpet, he finally sighed, it seemed he had reached his destination. He looked around, it was a big hall with lots of big chairs on which even giants would feel like children... there was a stairway that went up, and when he looked up, he was stunned to the core, he even forgot to breathe.
Two women, one was standing near the throne looking at him with a slightly amused expression, her hair was blood red, similar to her eyes, although it was a little dark here with only moonlight as a source, Asher could still see her pale snowy white skin, she was beautiful... far more beautiful than any woman he had seen on Earth, only those 2D women could come close to her beauty.
Although she was beautiful, Asher's heart skipped a beat looking at the second woman who was sitting on the throne and looking at him with an expressionless face.
Her hair was silver white, and it seemed like it was radiating its own light, her eyes were crimson red too, but they were tinged with silverly glow, her face was so beautiful as if he was seeing an illusion, it was like there was no way something so beautiful could exist. Her skin was similarly pale snowy white.
But there was something else he couldn't explain, if love at first sight was really a thing, then he was sure that he had already fallen for her, the more he looked at her, the more he felt his heart beat faster.
Suddenly Asher felt a tingling sensation on his skin, he wasn't able to feel much in his lost thoughts, but since it kept increasing, it reached a point where he finally felt it.
He frowned as the tingling sensation was all over his skin, and it started to hurt a little.
"Finally, I was wondering when it would start, bear with it, little guy, it will hurt a lot..." Avelisse spoke as she shook her head, she couldn't even imagine how her master's fated was a human, not to mention a human from those mortal worlds where mana was nonexistent.
