Chapter 17 - Insert 17

everything is possible, you can still have your child.

Mrs Ndlovu: "Yazi, I've been having that faith for the past 10 years, kodwa manje ithemba alikho. Ngimuyenzenimina uNkulunkulu we Linomtha? I have been so faithful in my Christian journey ever since I was a child. I remained pure till I got married, I have a great heart, kodwa why can't he just bless me with just one child?"

Linomtha: "Because he is still preparing the best for you, you're not the first person to go through this and God is not doing this because he hates you. Most women who were barren in the Bible, God blessed them with extraordinary children. The Bible says God closed the womb of Hannah, yet the Peninna's of this world are busy giving birth and you're not. Hannah finally gave birth to Samuel, and we are busy reading about Samuel today; we don't even know the names of Peninna's children. Elizabeth gave birth to John the Baptist, this man baptized the great Jesus. Manoah's wife gave birth to Samson, the man who killed a lion and killed so many Philistines. Rachel gave birth to Joseph, are we not reading about Joseph? Leah, who was married to the same man Rachel is married to, we don't even know her children, great stories or do you know any? You see, all this, woman went through what you're going through but we are now reading about their blessed children till today. Do you now understand the delay?

Mrs Ndlovu: "But then the Doctors report"

Linomtha: "I can't sideline that"

Linomtha: "Didn't Sarah give birth to Isaac when she was 90 years old? Is that possible medically?"

Mrs Ndlovu: She cried so much and just buried herself in my arms. "You have revived my spirit, I had lost all hope. The room next door is a nursery we worked on it when we got this house five years back; we did it as a sign of faith so tonight I was just so down and decided to go to the nursery when Moses was sleeping. I just wanted to try and revive my prayer life again. When I heard you praying for me I knew that was a way of God reviving my relationship with him again. He really used you Linomtha and the word that you shared with me is so powerful. You have revived my faith

Linomtha: "I really thank God. It means I was fighting the spirits of discouragements and I was commanding you to pray in my dreams like you shared" we both looked at each other and smiled

Mrs Ndlovu: "I now believe more than ever that God is alive, can we pray together" we held our hands and gave a thanksgiving prayer to God
