Big D crashed to the ground with a shocked grunt, laughter exploding from his mates. That humiliation snapped something in him. His eyes burned red as he surged back to his feet and hurled himself at Leonard with wild, desperate force. Only then did Leonard raise his sword. Steel met steel in a violent clash, sparks flying as one blade struck the other deflected. Leonard moved with calculated precision, his breathing steady, his steps fluid—graceful, almost—as if this were a dance he knew by heart.
