Yan City!
Lin Xuan had returned once again. It had been two months since his last visit.
This trip to the city had two main purposes.
The first was to bring the recently mined Yangyuan Stones from the Lin family for trade.
The second was to buy a residence in Yan City!
Now that the family had a mine, it was possible to purchase a house in the city.
With the Qiankun Bag, this trip only required Lin Xuan and Lin Dong.
The others stayed behind in Qingyang Town and Tiemu Village, busy mining and selling off their assets.
The Yangyuan Stones they brought had already been refined into Yangyuan Pills by Lin Xuan and Lin Dong, so there was no need to trade them.
They only needed to give some Yangyuan Pills to the family when returning.
Refining it themselves, three Yangyuan Stones could produce one Yangyuan Pill, whereas trading would require ten stones for one pill.....and the quality would not match what they could refine themselves.
This approach avoided middlemen taking a profit.
Lin Xuan even considered acting as a middleman himself!
With Chiling, the efficiency of refining pills far exceeded Lin Dong's Stone Talismans.
On this trip to Yan City, Lin Xuan intended to learn pill refining techniques from Master Yan, pretending to be a prodigy alchemist.
With the title of Alchemist, he could directly cooperate with the Wanjin Guild to purchase large quantities of Yangyuan Stones and spiritual herbs, handing them all to Chiling for refining.

Master Yan's presence wasn't particularly imposing.
Master Yan was only a Fourth-Grade Talisman Master.
At this rate, Lin Xuan would likely surpass him within a year.
The Curio Tower!
It belonged to Master Yan, the strongest Talisman Master in Yan City, so owning a tower was unsurprising.
Lin Xuan and Lin Dong entered the tower but didn't see Master Yan. They immediately asked the steward.
"Master Yan isn't at the Curio Tower today. What do you need? I can pass a message for you!"
Since their last visit was brief, the steward didn't recognize them.
We are Master Yan's disciples. Here is the Master's token. Could someone escort us to him?"
Lin Xuan felt slightly embarrassed....how could a disciple not know where the Master lived?
"Oh...so it's you two! I heard the Master recently accepted three disciples, but I haven't seen two of them.
I'm Liu, managing the Curio Tower and serving as the Master's steward. Pleased to meet you!"
Upon seeing the token, Liu immediately showed respect.
"I'll have someone take you to the Master's residence."
There were rumors in the Curio Tower that Master Yan had taken two prodigious disciples, but most people hadn't seen them.
Master Yan held a very high position in Yan City. He hadn't taken disciples for many years.
This time, he took three, and two were personally recruited.....showing how highly he regarded Lin Xuan and Lin Dong.
No one would dare offend them.
"Thank you, Steward Liu!" Lin Xuan bowed politely.
Soon, guided by Liu's assistant, they arrived at a secluded courtyard.
"This is Master Yan's residence. It's quiet, and generally no one dares to disturb.
I'll leave you here."
At the entrance, guards respectfully allowed them to pass when Lin Xuan showed the Talisman Master token.
"Let's go!"
Lin Xuan and Lin Dong entered the courtyard.
Inside, it was serene and elegant, filled with bamboo groves. Several houses were built from bamboo.....simple yet exuding a
unique charm.
