Chapter 5 - Wishes

"H-Hey, um… how do you… how does your species… um… how do you reproduce?" I blinked, looking over blankly as Bulma asked the sudden question while lying beside me.

My bedroom was rather expansive and luxurious, as Frieza had seemingly just slept in the little floating-car/chair hybrid that he frequented - when he did sleep, at least. I had pretty quickly discovered that sleep was more of a 'want' instead of a 'need' for this body. It was a way for me to recover my energy faster, and I naturally felt rested and more energetic afterward, but I could go weeks without sleep and not experience any negative side effects. I could probably go forever without sleeping, but I enjoyed the sensation, and enjoyed even more having Bulma cuddled into my side, so I didn't ever go more than a few days without some rest.

And, while the hoverchair was pretty comfortable, I made sure I had a bed fitted for a King. When you were the ruler of the universe, there were no expenses to be spared.

As a result, I had a huge bed, which was more than twenty feet long and wide, along with a very expensive blanket and pillows from when I had visited Earth. The bedroom itself was also pretty large, being the biggest room there was on my spaceship as it was easily hundreds of feet wide and long.

"Any reason you're suddenly curious?" I teased, smirking lightly as I glanced at her with a raised eyebrow.

"N-No! I'm just curious about a-aliens!" Bulma justified with a huff and red cheeks, "I've been traveling with you for almost a year now, so I figured I should at least learn a bit more about you…"

True to her words, it had been roughly nine months since I first picked up Bulma, and the time to head back and see how the Z-Fighters had progressed was coming closer. A lot had been done in those nine months, and even I was impressed with the progress my empire had made. Numerous planets were much more advanced now, the average power level increasing as well in the process, and avoiding Zeno's wrath was starting to seem less far-fetched.

Granted, there were still a lot of planets in universe 7, and I mean a lot, that needed to be conquered, improved, and trained, but progress was moving forward faster than ever before. With a genuine training regime, as well as development of what Bulma called a 'portable gravity increaser,' which she had developed after I conquered a particularly weak but technologically advanced planet, my army was becoming stronger than ever before.

That meant that each soldier was stronger, which in turn meant they could be given more responsibilities. My grunts had already been in the low hundreds at least in terms of power levels, so they were stronger than most fighters to begin with. Now, with their power boost, allowing the average to become in the mid-to-high hundreds, I could just send small squads, or even individuals, to take down planets on their own. Beyond that, with every planet conquered, my technology level, troop count, and overall number of bodies and competent fighters increased as well.

It was an exponential effect: a larger, stronger, and smarter army could conquer planets more efficiently, which would then make said army larger, stronger, and smarter than before, which allowed them to conquer planets even more efficiently, which would then repeat the process.

Soon, my empire would be at the level that I was comfortable with leaving it to be managed by my higher-up subordinates, such as Zarbon, so I could really throw myself into my training. My base/suppressed form was closing in on one billion as a base power level, but once I started training day and night, as I wouldn't have to focus on growing the empire as much, I was sure that it would become far higher in a short time.

"The same way you do," I finally answered Bulma after a pause, pulling myself out of my empire-building thoughts. "My species has very few members, but we can reproduce. We have sex with a female, who then bears our children."

When I first appeared in this body, I truly didn't know if siring children would ever be possible. The information about Frieza's race was sparse in my former world, with even the available information being questionable. They obviously had to reproduce somehow, as King Cold existed and was this body's father, but whether Frieza had a mother or not changed depending on what was considered canon.

Luckily for me, I was now in this world, and I had simply asked King Cold himself about my race before I killed him. Frieza's mother, or I guess my mother now, was from a different race, so I didn't even know if there were females within my species. I was technically a half-breed, but so was Cooler, and I didn't know if King Cold was purely one race either, and I couldn't exactly ask him anymore.

As for the actual reproduction process-

"Wait, so you can have sex?" Bulma blinked, looking at me as she suddenly seemed overly curious, "Like… you have a penis? Or, wait, is it your…"

Bulma glanced over at my long and thick tail with wide eyes, blushing slightly, but I just chuckled.

"No, I don't fuck with my tail," I corrected her dryly, causing her to blush even deeper, "I have a genitalia, just as humans do. This isn't actually my skin."

I finished by pointing at my chest and gesturing to my lower half. I wasn't lying either - the usual white layer of rock-hard material on my chest, stomach, back, and overall torso wasn't my skin, but instead what was called a 'bio-suit.' The pink flesh of my tail, arms, legs, and face was the only part of my visage that was actually skin.

I'd discovered this without help from King Cold, as my body just kind of had the natural ability to change, shift, and overall manipulate this biosuit. It didn't actually have much use, as it negated a bit of damage by being a hard outer layer for my body, but any decently strong blows that I took would impact my body through it. However, it did very helpfully protect my modesty, as there was indeed a penis between my legs and under the black cup-like portion of the biosuit.

"Not your skin?" Bulma muttered, her eyes going a bit wide as she glanced over me.

"It's a biosuit. Essentially, it's kind of like skin, but much harder, and I can manipulate it," I explained easily, pointing down at my crotch. "So, while this part covers my crotch, it's not actually my crotch. There's a dick underneath."

"O-Oh, I get it! That's, um, good to know," Bulma glanced away, her cheeks red as she wouldn't meet my eyes. Her cheeks only got even redder a moment later as she clearly thought more about the rod lying beneath the protector.

I just smirked at her demeanor, chuckling lightly as I got ready to head to sleep.

Luckily for her, despite Frieza's rather short frame, not everything about this body was short.

I was packing.

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"They are all gathered, just as you ordered, Lord Frieza," Zarbon kneeled in front of me, the area around us looking much different than the yellow, rocky surface that had been Yardrat.

Instead, there were curving blueish-green mountains, fields of grass, large trees, and a bright sun overhead. Nearby, there was even a large lake, which reflected the bright blue sky overhead.

"Good work," I said simply, grinning as I glanced around Namek.

Behind me sat the massive spaceship that I traveled in, along with the form of Bulma standing in front of it. In front of me, Zarbon kneeled, and behind him was a crowd of green aliens. They all looked pretty similar to Piccolo, having bright green skin, antenna-like points coming out of their heads, and bulges of pink bumps covering their bodies.

"Bring him the balls," Zarbon said stiffly as he stood up straight, turning around and looking pointedly at a Namekian kneeling behind him. I grinned slightly as I recognized him, not by his looks, as he looked like a typical Namekian, but instead because of his large power level.

Nail simply nodded, looking not entirely happy as he stood and quickly walked back through the crowd of Namekians behind him. He bent down as he reached the back of the group, casually gathering a collection of large, glossy orange balls in his arms as he tossed them towards me. They landed with thuds, cratering the ground at my feet as they did.

"I apologize for the delay, Lord Frieza!" To Zarbon's side was a pink alien. If Zarbon was my right-hand man, then Dodoria was my left-hand man - though he was much less easy on the eyes compared to Zarbon, as the pink alien was round, had spikes sticking out of his skin, and had an ugly face.

"They didn't cooperate easily, but we finally got there!" Dodoria continued with a grin, rising to his feet as I glanced down at the Dragon Balls, "It was especially tough with your order not to kill any of them, but they eventually understood your greatness, my Lord!"

Truly, I wasn't sure how someone like Dodoria had pulled this off. I had put Zarbon in charge of taking over Namek with the order not to kill any of the Namekians, who had then promptly shoved most of the work onto Dodoria after one visit to the green planet because of how impossible it seemed.

The Namekians were decently strong, but were much more principled. They knew about my reputation for massacring entire planets and enslaving entire species, and they were overall what I'd call 'good people.' Their ideals wouldn't let them bend the knee and hand over their Dragon Balls, especially if I wasn't using violence to scare them into doing so, and as a result, I expected this mission to be long and annoying for my subordinates.

Which, it definitely was. I had put Zarbon in charge of conquering Namek nearly a year ago, and it had taken this long for all the Namekians to finally give in and accept my rule. By comparison, many planets were conquered in only a day, or sometimes even only an hour.

It had taken countless threats, more than a bit of roughing up, and overall promises and evidence of better food, technology, and living for the Namekians to bend the knee. For an idiot and hothead like Dodoria, I had expected to arrive here to find half of the Namekians dead and the rest traumatized, but he had somehow managed to conquer the world in a pretty civil way.

"Please do not forget your promises," Nail said sternly as he approached me, directing his gaze towards Dodoria, "Release the children unharmed and uneaten!"

I blinked at his words, looking over at Dodoria, who just smirked cruelly and nodded at Nail. I didn't know if the man truly ate children, as I didn't really know him that well, or if it was just an empty threat, but either way, it was definitely effective.

"If you are ready, then I will summon the dragon… Lord Frieza," Nail bit out that last part, bowing his head to me as Zarbon not-so-lightly nudged him, causing the man to grunt lightly in pain.

"Where's your leader?" I didn't accept Nail's offer yet, instead glancing around as I didn't spot the massive form of Guru.

"...He is near, but you promised not to harm him," Nail hissed a bit, glancing over at Dodoria with narrowed eyes, who just shrugged in response.

"I won't harm him. I'm just interested in his abilities," I clarified, referring specifically to his ability to unlock someone's potential, "But I suppose that can wait until after this. Summon the dragon for me, Namekian."

Nail nodded stiffly again, stepping forward as he nudged the Dragon Balls into a circle, and then softly muttered a phrase I didn't understand, as it was in Namekian. A moment later, a glow surrounded the seven Dragon Balls, and they started to pulse with a faint light. Then, a streak of lightning-esque light shot upward from them, filling the sky as dark clouds started to form overhead.

The light split in the air, shooting in every direction as it spiderwebbed into the air. It shifted again, moving into a more concrete shape, which then started to solidify. A thick head, with an ugly face, and horns sticking out. A long snout, amused eyes, and a muscular torso. Skin even brighter than the Namekian's formed from the light, becoming long and scaly as the form of a towering dragon appeared.

"...I am Porunga, the Eternal Dragon of Dreams. I will grant you three wishes," The deep voice resounded throughout Namek, the dragon staring down and locking eyes with me despite Nail being the one to summon him. "State your wish, and if it is within my power, I will grant it."

"Tell me what you desire, and I'll convey it to him," Nail spoke up, nodding at me as he told me what I already knew, "You must make your wishes in Namekian."

I know the 'speak Namekian' rule was put in place to prevent invaders like me from just massacring the Namekians, stealing the Dragon Balls, and making a wish on their own, but it was still pretty silly considering Porunga wasn't speaking Namekian himself. But, silliness aside, I had already planned out the three wishes I was going to make, and the first one was obvious.

"Namekian," I said simply, a large, excited grin stretching across my face as I looked up at Porguna, "Tell him to make me…"

My next words would cause inhales and gasps to come from the crowd of kneeling Namekians, and this was the moment that my trajectory in this world changed. This was the moment that the path from being a simple universal ruler changed, and where the path to becoming a god began.

"Immortal."
