Hayashi Maki experienced the "taste" of the Yukinoshita heiress for himself. Compared to his angel Mahiru—obedient and inexperienced—Yukinoshita Haruno was more mature and more forward.
At first, when he stole a kiss/initiated suddenly, Haruno panicked for a moment, but then seemed to steel herself.
Haruno flipped the script, slipping up and pinning him underneath.
…
In a white dress, the stunning girl's black hair gleamed in the moonlight; her slightly flushed face and the way the dress was filled out drew the eye.
Sitting on Hayashi Maki's waist, she looked at him with a complicated expression, then let a pleased smile bloom.
"Little Demon—no, Hayashi Maki-chan—even though I've decided to trade everything I have for Yukino's health, for this first time, big sister is going to take the lead!"
Hayashi Maki was stunned. So this is the allure of a cool Onee-san-type? He also felt awkward at being called "-chan."
Holding back, he set his warm hands on her slender waist, noting the softness of her skin.
"Haruno-san, did you look into me?"
Haruno's pretty face pinked; her pale hand pressed playfully to his chest. With a shy, increasingly sultry gaze, she smiled. "Of course. You were the unlucky guy who got hit by the car along with Yukino. I wasn't going to let the culprit go, so I investigated. By the way, I was the one who sent you to the hospital."
Hayashi Maki's hand paused—then continued. "Is that so? Then I really should thank you, Haruno-nee."
Haruno cursed him inwardly—he really was brazen. Fighting her embarrassment, she stared at him and said in a low voice:
"So, since onee-san took you to the hospital, shouldn't you show some appreciation?"
Hayashi Maki almost laughed. Does she think I'll lose my head just because she's beautiful and grant any request? Still, he put on a captivated face.
"How would Haruno-nee like me to show it?"
Blushing and trembling a little at his teasing, a sheen of sweat on her fair skin, she pinned down his wandering hand and coaxed:
"Change the terms, okay? Since I did you a favor, let's call it even—just heal little Yukino directly. Please?"
Hayashi Maki rolled his eyes. "No. Do you really think a demon's contract is casual? Demons take contracts seriously. Once it's set, it can't be changed—unless you don't want your sister's health. I can leave right now and you can pretend none of this happened."
Haruno's face tightened; she knew it wouldn't be easy. From his reaction, she guessed he responded better to softness than pressure. Maybe life with him wouldn't be so bad.
"Don't be mad. I was just asking. If not, then fine—just please heal little Yukino. For that…"
Hayashi Maki sighed. "You agreed—this is a contract; it can't be changed. Anyway, Haruno-nee, from now on you're mine. For life."
"Yeah, yeah, you brat. It hurts—give onee-san a minute," Haruno said, resting her cheek on his chest and catching her breath. Having gone through with it, she felt strangely calmer.
At least Hayashi Maki was handsome—and younger. If he really could heal Yukino, it would all be worth it. Maybe she'd even gained an excellent boyfriend.
From that test, Haruno had figured out what attitude worked with this self-proclaimed demon.
Looking at Haruno in his arms, Hayashi Maki smiled, stroked her hair, and joked:
"So… is 'little brother' easy to handle?"
"Hmph. Bad little brother—you only bully people. Even now you're still teasing me."
Haruno opened her mouth and bit his neck lightly.
"Hey—trying to bite my head off?"
"No—I'm leaving onee-san's mark. From now on, you're my man. Remember that!"
She'd taken the lead again. Hayashi Maki didn't mind—he had plenty of ways to "handle" her.
