At Forte Academy, in its immense grandeur, we can see in classroom 1-C our young brunette, Alexa, leaving the classroom accompanied by her friends. While the other two are talking, her face shows a broad smile of approval at what they are saying, but with a cold gaze that simply observes the hallway, searching for an answer.
In the afternoon, we return to the hill where she is still trying to reach the summit, without much success, falling each time she climbs. The warrior merely observes her with a look of displeasure. After her twentieth fall, he approaches and says, "You've advanced a lot in just a week. Perhaps you are a natural talent." To which she replied, "Oh! Do you really think so?! You'll see, Master, I will achieve this before another week passes!" Upon hearing these words, the adult turned around and returned to the shade of the tree where he was before.
A new day begins for our protagonist, who, as always, is chatting with her friends.
Tamara: "Hey, did you know the urban hero studies here?"
Leslie: "Yes, supposedly he's in class 1-A, but they say he's a bully."
Alexa: "If he's a hero, I don't think he'd be that much of an idiot, although it might be that he simply isn't the real hero."
Tamara: "Could be. Changing the subject, do you think the exam on Thursday will be difficult?"
Leslie: "I'm going to fail! I don't know anything!"
Alexa: "Oh, what things you say, Les. Of course you will pass. That's why I suspended all my activities today to help you."
Tamara: "And I will also help you study. We'll see each other at Kiryoku in the afternoon to study, right?"
After agreeing on the time to meet and help the redhead study, the classes progressed without any problems. Just as they had decided, they met at Kiryoku in the afternoon to study, where hours passed without progress, as the redhead couldn't understand no matter how they explained it. While all this was happening, one single thing was on Alexa's mind: she had missed her test that day.
Now, on Wednesday back at Forte, Alexa and Tamara wait for Leslie, who, upon hearing the recess bell, left the classroom without saying anything to them.
Alexa: "Are you sure? Recess is almost over and she hasn't come back."
Tamara: "Yes, well, at least that's what she told me."
Alexa: "It's very strange. Do you think that because she didn't learn anything yesterday, she decided to do something crazy?"
Tamara: "No, that would be too exaggerated. A person with at least a bit of critical sense wouldn't worry so much about an exam..."
Both, upon hearing this last statement, started remembering their friend and sighed at the same time, saying, "It's so possible."
The bell rang again, indicating the return to classes. Our protagonist is accompanied by her dark-haired friend when a redhead catches up to them, saying, a bit breathless from rushing, "Girls, you don't need to meet up to help me study anymore." Both answered with a "Why?" To which, without further ado, the redhead put her index finger to her lips, indicating it was a secret. The girls just smiled at her attitude, accepting her idea, while Alexa only thought, "Today I will finish the test."
Back on the hill, the green-eyed young woman was making giant strides in her path to the summit. When her master approached to see her progress, she simply gave him a big smile and, this time going all out seriously, managed to climb to the top without any problem, saying, "Wow, I did it! Now you will be my master, right?"
Jayden: "Yes, that was our agreement," leaving the place with a brightened look.
From the summit, Alexa could only dedicate herself to contemplating the horizon, shouting "YES!" In her immense splendor, the young woman was merely caressed by those last rays of the sun. With her cold gaze that consumed any kind of light, she descended from the plant, thinking, "Dear sister, soon I will be capable of avenging you." Smiling while a faint brightness returned to her eyes, she began her return home.
In the sky, a huge, ship-like vessel cuts through the clouds. The great metal machinery is very different from any human design. Thousands, perhaps millions, of uniformed people run the place as their mobile base. We focus on a large window where seven men are located: six of them in armor and one in a traditional Chinese robe like Jayden's, but white with pale pink lines. The armored men took seats at the table opposite the man in the robe, who had short white hair, closed eyes, and a pensive expression.
The man in green armor, with light brown hair tipped red and brown eyes, spoke: "Hey, I left Tarsu province. I hope it was at least worth it."
Man in yellow armor, bald with sky-blue eyes: "Calm down, Faint. We are all here by the Master's orders."
Hearing this, everyone focused their gaze on the man in the robe, who opened his light pink eyes and looked at the armored men, saying, "Tell me, what is happening with the remaining provinces? Give me the reports from each scouting group." The question made everyone there uncomfortable, even those outside the meeting directing the ship. A man in purple armor with red lines and a multicolored mohawk answered with absolute calm, "The ones I sent are dead, surely." The Caucasian man in the robe simply said, "Next."
Yellow Armor: "Mine haven't reported either."
Man in silver armor with long black hair and dark eyes: "Mine, the same."
Director: "Tell me... why do you think something happened to them?"
Hooded man with white eyes and white armor with black lines: "Master, there's no need to doubt it was some warrior from the Confederation or someone from the Council of Masters. If not, then some master who doesn't belong to the council, but those people aren't conflictive."
Faint: "They're a bunch of idiots! Whoever or whatever it is, I will go directly to the city of Guarly, where John sent his team, and I will begin the takeover of that province," pointing at the man in yellow armor.
John: "I remind you it's just a city, and the Master decides the costs of conquest."
Director: "Shawn, tell me the situation with the Confederation," looking at the man with the mohawk.
Shawn: "You already know, trying to convince us to go against the Council."
Director: "Good. Seeing your complete uselessness, you four, I will let Mike decide what will be done."
Quickly, Faint pointed his green-hilted scimitar at the hooded man, saying, "Tell me, Director, what does this idiot have that I don't, to make that decision?" After a resounding silence, the ship began to tremble, and the Director spoke: "He was capable of destroying one of the Sages' academies. Now be quiet and listen." Faint sat back down, terrified by the Director's power, as was everyone else on the ship.
Mike: In a sepulchral voice, "We should send another team, this time with a sergeant to analyze the situation and draw out whoever is ruining the conquest. Once we confirm what we are facing, we will see what to do."
Director: "Sounds good to me. John, you choose the sergeant to be sent to one of the cities and how many soldiers he will need."
Thus ending the meeting, the armored men disappeared without a trace. The Director simply turned his chair towards the horizon while saying, "The possibilities are low, and nothing has been heard of him for four years. If it were him protecting those places, seeking conflict could be suicide," while remembering the image of the warrior in his blue robe with gold and red lines.
