Chapter 1 - Episode 1 : It is not suicide

A man was standing at the crime scene. He had brown hair and green eyes. His complexion took on a golden hue when the sunlight hit it-neither fair nor dark.

It was Dev, a senior officer investigating the crime scene. He picked up the phone and called someone.

[ On TV: A body was found in Newtown today. This body is that of a woman. The woman was murdered with her throat slit. ]

Aalo was watching the news on TV when her phone suddenly started ringing. She picked up the phone call.

''Hey, how long will it take you to come? The journalists have all arrived.'' Dev said.

''That's what I can see.'' Aalo said.

'Wait for a few minutes, I'm out.' Aalo said.

After a few hours,

A woman arrived. She had short black hair and brown eyes. Dev noticed her. Looking into her eyes, he could tell that she hadn't slept properly in a long time.

Dev asked, 'So late! The medical team was still waiting for you. They will take the body for autopsy.'

Dev was angry about Aalo's late arrival. However, upon seeing her condition, he felt concerned for her. Aalo neglected her own well-being because she was so busy with work, and Dev was worried about her health.

Aalo allowed the body to be taken away after observing the scene and the body.

While examining the woman's body, they noticed no signs of a struggle or use of force. They then thoroughly inspected the scene, but found nothing of particular significance there either.

'Who had seen the body before?' Aalo asked.

'It is not known. Someone called from an unknown number and informed.' Dev said.

'We have to find that person.' Aalo said.

'Yes'. Dev said.

After 2 days the autopsy report came.

Aalo sat in the office with the autopsy report in her hands.

She read it once.

Then again.

Her expression changed.

She slowly looked at Dev.

"The doctors have gone mad," she said.

Dev raised an eyebrow.

"That's quite a conclusion."

"Or the woman was crazy."

Dev looked at the report and replied, 'Suicide is not a new thing. Maybe the woman was mentally ill.'

"It is not suicide.Coming 6 km from home and committing suicide by cutting her throat with a knife on a deserted road. Didn't you find it a bit strange?" Aalo asked.

Suddenly, someone rushed into the office. His face was covered in sweat, and his breathing was slightly heavy from running.

It was Bipin—one of Aalo and Dev's juniors. Besides Bipin, there were two others in their group.

He said, "Come quickly, another body has been found!"

As soon as they heard the news, they set out for the scene. Bipin was lost in thought on the way.

Bipin couldn't quite make sense of it. What was going on? The first body had been found just two days ago, and now, another one had turned up. What did this mean? Was someone behind this, or was it merely a coincidence? In any case, the situation would become clear once they reached the scene.

As Bipin was thinking about all this, he caught his reflection in the car's rearview mirror. His skin was noticeably darker from years of working under the sun.

They reached the spot immediately.

An old man was lying on the side of a deserted road.

Like the woman, his throat had been cut.

Seeing all this, Dev said to himself, 'This is probably where the real game will begin.'
