Chapter 7 - Episode 6 : Searching for Nemo

Hearing Aalo's words, Tuni asked, "Why? Why Nemo?"

"Because no other name came to mind besides his," Alo replied.

Hearing their conversation, Dev gave Aalo a skeptical look , because he knew that Aalo is simply ignoring to answer the question and asked, "You have to explain this now. At first, you thought the woman had been murdered, and now you think the third victim will be Nemo. How... you really need to explain that today. It feels like madness to me to do everything based solely on trusting you."

Aalo knew time was short and that wasting it was pointless, yet she felt Dev's question wasn't entirely off the mark. So, she answered him.

"As I mentioned earlier, it is highly unusual for someone to travel six kilometers away from home to commit suicide. Someone must have forced that woman to take her own life; after all, if she had intended to commit suicide, she could have done it at home—there was no need to go that far. Furthermore, we have no information regarding the person who first reported seeing the body. Dev, as you said, the search for that individual is still ongoing; the very fact that they haven't been found suggests that the person is none other than the killer himself."

Hearing this, Tuni asked..."Well... if that person is indeed the killer, he would want no one to find out about the murder. But instead of that, notifying the police makes no sense."

Dev answered Tuni's question instead of Aalo. "Perhaps he wanted everyone to know. There are many types of killers who do things like this because, in their own eyes, what they are doing isn't wrong. They feel that what they are doing is absolutely the right thing."

Aalo nodded in agreement, confirming that Dev was right.

Then she continued, "I suspect the killer knew them from twenty-seven years ago; the information we've gathered confirms that, back then, Chandra and Pushpakor were living in the same village. Later, both of them fled the village. Although they settled in different places and maintained no contact with each other, they were both killed by the same murderer. If the killer took their lives, he must have known them from those days—back when they lived in that same village."

"I mean, apart from that village and that man named Nemo—there is absolutely nothing in common between Chandra and Pushpakar," Tuni said.

Then she asked Aalo, "And Nemo..."

"I'm not saying Nemo is necessarily the third victim, but he was there in that village. He's the one person who can tell us who might have committed the murder, why the two of them left the village, and what actually happened twenty-seven years ago. It's even possible that the killer is none other than Nemo himself. Right now, we have no choice but to track him down."

After hearing Aalo out, Dev placed a hand on her shoulder and nodded in agreement.
