Chapter 19 - Second Customer

The name sounds strange, but having to increase this specific percentage... hmm, is there a pattern?

The mission was really strange, but with another client, it was easier for me to understand what the system really wanted from us and what makes her and Azalea clients.

With that mindset, I went downstairs.

She was already at the counter, about to ring the bell. She seemed a little surprised to see me. I couldn't see her face, but her ears gave it away. She even seemed to become cautious.

"Good evening, dear customer. Welcome to Sanctuary of Serenity. How can I help you?"

Yes, it was still night outside. I found this an odd time to get a massage, not to mention her suspicious attire.

Now that I was in front of her, I also noticed that she was tall, almost my height of about 6'3", but with her two ears, she gave the impression of being even taller.

"..."

She didn't answer me. Instead, she looked at me, looked behind me, and then looked around the counter as if searching for something.

System, purchase the rank 1 evaluation stone.

I quickly deduced from my experience with Azalea what she was looking for, and since I had seen it in the catalog, I bought it immediately.

It seemed to be something essential in this world, where professions are established and having one of these apparently determines how reliable a place is.

So, even though it cost 65 Myrr, I bought it as a future investment.

I slowly placed it on the counter while taking out the card and other items, and tried again.

"Are you looking for a specific type of massage or treatment?"

"... Are you the one who will give me the massage?"

"Yes; if you want, I can verify my profession: I have an evaluation stone."

"That's not what it said outside. Do I look like a fool? What kind of trick is this?"

What's the problem? System, what does it say outside?

[The name of the establishment plus a middle ground between customer desires and user capabilities.]

Shit!

That meant I had to find out what that woman and all potential customers expect when they walk through that door.

"None, dear customer, what I said is completely true. If you want to clarify what you are looking for in our establishment, I will do so."

"ah!, you don't look like a girl, or are you going to tell me that besides you there is something as rare as a female masseuse? Even a place like this wants to treat me like a fool, this is not—"

"Wait, dear customer, I understand the confusion. After all, not everyone is comfortable with the opposite sex touching their body."

She seemed to be getting angry, but I quickly understood what she wanted, so I stopped her before she escalated, but that was going to be a problem unless...

"Yes, exactly: this body belongs only to my husband and no other man can touch it. I'm not stupid enough not to differentiate something like this."

Why do you keep repeating that you're not stupid? Do you have some kind of complex?

"Yes, I understand your point perfectly, ma'am, but don't worry: we're not committing fraud or anything like that. In fact, my wife is also a massage therapist; I'll call her right away."

"Huh!, really?"

"Very seriously."

"You're not lying to me? I'd recognize you even if you wore a wig."

"Hrm, don't worry, my wife is very different from me."

This woman is a little strange.

"Wow! seriously, a couple of massage therapists! They're so hard to find."

"Yes, everyone is surprised when they find out we're a couple of massage therapists. We were brought together as if by fate."

"That sounds romantic."

"Yes, well... wait a moment, I'll call her."

"Okay, ah! And I'm sorry for calling you a fraud."

"No problem, dear customer."

My face still wore a calm expression until I turned to go upstairs. It was a complicated situation, and I realized that this would not be easy.

Putting a stigma of lethargy on her basically requires that she wants to be with me in some way, but if she loves her husband to the point of not allowing the slightest touch from another man, the situation is fundamentally very different from Azalea's.

No, I don't have to get hung up on the idea that the system wants me to brand everyone who comes, but that doesn't change anything.

Yes, there was still a month to go, and it was only the first day. It's possible that many will come, and I won't have to brand them all: only three. If it were impossible with her, I would have to give up.

But both of our lives depend on this, and I have to think the worst. Even with Azalea's case, it's not enough to know if it's easy or difficult to put a stigma on someone, and I don't really know how often we'll get clients.

Today may happen to be a very good day, I really don't know yet, and that's why I'll try everything I can, even if she's happily married. If there's the slightest opening, I'll take advantage of it.

"Okay, honey, it's time for the fusion."

I hadn't even reached the room when Iris was already waiting for me in the hallway, running in my direction.

I told her to put some clothes on.

It's really not good for me when a beautiful woman like her comes running naked in my direction.

I still can't get used to her appearance, even though I'm doing my best; one day isn't enough to get rid of my attachment to her previous appearance.

But above all, she obviously ran towards me with the intention of merging us, and I didn't stop her because it was exactly what I wanted.

Honestly, there was a lot of trouble last time, but that woman doesn't accept men, and leaving everything to Iris would cause me anxiety.

Maybe she was still excited about everything that happened with Azalea and would end up attacking the poor woman; we had to find a middle ground, and that was the Merge.

I didn't think it was something I would do willingly, but the situation required it. I didn't say anything: she, who knows me, knows that it's like my acceptance. She smiled happily, began to glow, and so did I.

"Come on, honey, shout with me: fusion!! \ (≧▽≦)/"

"Fusion \ (ㆆ_ㆆ)/"

I played along, and by the time I had her in my arms, I felt a little dizzy and…

..

"Good! I'm back... although I never really left, hehehe! Okay, let's see what that strange MILF, who loves her husband, has in store."

Yes: it's definitely a strange feeling, but a great one; it's a feeling of completeness that I can't explain.

But that's not what's important: what's important is that, although I have no proof, I have no doubt that the woman down there must be another beautiful MILF; those glasses and mask don't fool me.

I can see everything with my mind's eye. Hehehue—I'll definitely find a way to put the stigma on her: a beautiful, pink-haired cat woman is what anyone would want, huehuehue~.

"Ah!, right! now I have to go as Iris, okay, swap!"

I almost went down in Asthar's appearance; I was a little excited just now I quickly changed to Iris's appearance and went down, mentally preparing myself for what I had to do.

This time my method of attack has to be different: I have to find out why she is a customer and what she has in common with Azalea, and of course, increase her conquest percentage and make her fall for me, preferably repeating what I did with Azalea.

The fact that I am a woman and she loves her husband will not stop me.

"Good evening, dear customer! My husband has probably already said this, but welcome to our humble business. It is my pleasure to serve you today to the best of my abilities."

"Ah, a pure-blooded elf!"

"Huh? Is there a problem, customer?"

Now that I think about it, when I looked outside, we weren't in the same place as Azalea, but rather in a slightly oriental setting, which suited this business better.

It was possibly that neighboring country that Azalea told me to draw inspiration from for the decor. That could put us in a complicated situation.

No, wait... I feel surprise more than anything else, it must just be surprise.

"No, it's just that it's rare for elves to leave their villages. And that hair color is strange: elves usually have green or blond hair."

"Hehehe, yes, I'm a bit unique among my people. Look, I'm also a massage therapist, in case you're wondering."

I put my hand on the stone and, like Azalea's, a rank 1 massage therapist appeared. She looked at it, but didn't seem to care much.

Now I wonder if it was necessary to compare her, but I'll keep thinking about it as a future investment.

"Well, customer, here's the service list: choose the type of massage you want."

It's funny: here, elves are as generic as they are in the fiction of my world. That's really strange.

I wonder if my knowledge will serve as a guide for other things… Will there be dwarves? Will loli baba exist? Centaurs too? If they exist… I wonder where they'll have their—

"Hmm, what are these massages in the Therapeutic Hydro-Wellness category? It's the first time I've heard of them."

Oh no, I can't get distracted... let's see, what were they? I don't know either...

Luckily, the information was in my head and I quickly understood what it was about.

"Oh! Those are good. You get into a bathtub filled with hot water, we add therapeutic bath salts and some essential oils for aromatherapy and skin softening, while I give you a massage on your limbs and shoulders."

Yes, she's interested in one of the good ones... I have to convince her with my best abilities.

"Oh! All that... no wonder they're so expensive. Ah, but it said something about a facial mask."

"Yes, that's there too. During the bath, I'll put a mask on your face that covers your whole face; there are many types, you decide: moisturizing and skin softening, purifying, those that provide beneficial minerals, and aromatic ones if you have a particular scent you like to increase your relaxation."

Although we are a massage parlor, what we offer covers anything related to relaxation. Combining that, there are several functions in addition to massages; that's why there were so many things in the rooms.

"Hmm, that means I have to keep my eyes closed, right?"

"Yes, but if you don't like it, you can still enjoy the rest without the..."

"No! That's not necessary... I want that one, but about the effects... hmm... is there one that... hmm... attracts men's attention?"

"Oh, like a beautifier? In fact, that's what almost all of them are for. Having beautiful skin makes you look more attractive and therefore attracts men. I see you want to spice things up with your husband... that's wonderful."

And really bad for me, hmm, is there really no chance of putting the stigma on her? Was the Azalea Case a coincidence? Hmm.

"Yes, that... I want all of that, the more the better, no matter the price. But, mm... besides, what she's saying outside... it's true, isn't it?"

System, what is she saying outside? What did she see?

[I cannot answer that question]

Fuck you, damn it.
