Otto felt quite awkward after regaining his memories. After all his amnesiac self had pursued Frederica romantically. He was sure Subaru would tease him by saying something like "[Figures the guy who can talk to animals is into demihumans. You're such an Otto.]"
Otto: [Ugh no! Why am I imagining him using that phrase!]
Otto felt like crying. But not because of that. Not even because Subaru was back in his old world. Otto could accept it if his friend decided to go back home and stay there. He too knew the feeling of having a home he couldn't return to. He was sure he'd feel conflicted if he was told he could go back. But what he couldn't accept was that Subaru had been forced to go and back and that he wasn't even able to say goodbye to Subaru first. All Otto Suwen had wanted was the chance hear what his friend wanted and to say goodbye if he wanted to part ways. That was all Otto Suwen wished for yet Al had stolen that entirety from him.
Otto: (Natsuki-san.)
A knock to his door and Frederica entered.
Otto: [Fredderica.]
Fredderica: [Are you feeling well? Your face is all red.]
Otto: [Ahem... I'm fine.]
Otto: (Where did the amnesia me get the courage to get into this situation.)
Fredderica walked towards him with a blush on her face as Otto realised it.
Frederica: [Otto...]
Otto: [Um wait... Frederica-san.]
Otto: (Im going to be devoured. As Natsuki-san would say... I'm cooked. Speaking of him. I hope he's doing better with Emilia-sama.)
AN: He is not. You are both cooked.

Felt sat in her chair holding her head in her hands.
Felt: [This has to be some kind of bad joke.]
Reinhard: [Felt-sama. You do not look well. Please take some rest.]
Felt looked up to see Reinhard but despite his advice Reinhard did not look well either. He looked worse than her.
Felt: [Say that to yourself. You look way worse..]
Reinhard: [My apologies for my unsightly appearance. I shall...]
Felt: [Stop it. Just stop Rein. Our friends are missing and your father is dead. You're allowed to feel like shit today.]
Her mind wandered to Subaru.
Felt: (Sorry big bro... big sis. I'm sorry... Rein.)
Felt: [Rein... have they set the funeral date?]
Reinhard: [Since father... became a traitor... he'll only have a small funeral. Just those that were closest to him. It will be held in a week.]
Reinhard: (I know it was too much to ask for but... I truly wished to be forgiven by father and loved by him.)
There was a knock on the door as Rachins openned it.
Rachins: [Yo Felt. There's an old man here that wants to see Reinhard.]
He opened the door as Wilhelm walked towards him.
Reinhard: (I see that he's come to condemn me. It was my lack of strength that caused Father's death after all. The same as back when Grandmother died.)
Wilhelm stepped forward.
Wilhelm: [Reinhard...]
Wilhelm hugged Reinhard.
Reinhard: [Honoured... grandfather?]
Wilhelm: [It's going to be okay. Even if he didn't show it after Theresia's death your father truly did love you.]
Reinhard: [I...]
Wilhelm: [Reinhard... Lean on me. I know things are difficult right now.]
A tear fell from Reinhard's eye as Wilhelm himself had tears falling from his eyes.
Wilhelm: (I'm the one who failed. Not you Reinhard. I failed as a grandfather and then as a father and that is what led to this. My son died because... of my mistakes.)
Wilhelm didn't know how he could ever face Theresia in the after life.
Felt held a small smile.
Felt: (At least Rein's going to be okay.)

A week passed as the funeral ended and Felt returned to find the Emilia Camp waiting for a meeting. She bowed to them.
Felt: [I'm sorry about how things went with big bro and big sis.]
Garf: [We ain't here for an apology. Ya ain't even at fault. It's that fucker Al.]
Ram: [We've come to ask for your help.]
Felt: [My help?]
Otto: [A method to retrieve Natsuki-San is possible but it requires the Dragon's blood. And we also... want to fulfill Emilia-sama's wish. Do to that we want to join your camp.]
Felt: [You... want to join my camp? But what about big sis?]
Otto: [It is impossible to get them back before the end of the Royal Selection. Emilia-sama has lost. This is our only path forward.]
Felt: [Yer sure this method can get big bro and big sis back?]
Otto: [Indeed however there are some things we should discuss about the plan.]
Felt: [Like what?]
Otto: [The plan will require the cooperation of the Witch Of Greed.]
Felt looked as if she had heard the most unfunny joke in the world and then her face hardened.
Felt: [Are you serious?]
Otto: [I'm afraid so. We'd like Reinhard to handle any aftermath concerning her.]
Ram: [Ram would trust that witch as far as she could throw the Divine Dragon.]
Felt laughed at this blatant sacrilege that Ram committed in front of her.
Felt: [Alright. Rein!]
Reinhard appeared.
Reinhard: [Yes Felt-sama?]
Felt: [They got a plan to bring them back. Big bro and big sis.]
Reinhard's eyes the were once heavy lightened a bit.
Felt: [They're gonna need to revive a Witch to do it so when she makes trouble make sure to end her quickly. Got it?]
Reinhard held the hilt of his sword firmly.
Reinhard: [Understood Felt-sama.]
Reinhard: (I will not fail again.)

Anastasia was fustrated. No infuriated even and she didn't understand why. The removal of Emilia and especially Natsuki Subaru from the Royal Selection would have been something she celebrated in the past so why now... did it make her feel this way?
Anastasia: [Ah... I get it. I really wanted to beat'em fair and square.]
Julius was already aware of his lady's feelings as he felt the same.
Julius: (Subaru...Emilia-sama... I hope you're doing well over there.)
Anastasia opened an envelope containing intelligence.
Anastasia: [The writings of Natsuki Subaru... let's see if poking around was worth the risk... wait... this is! This is in Hoshin's texts!!!]
Anastasia: [He was... from beyond the great waterfall... and I didn't notice? What the fuck?!]
She was astonished. Absolutely astonished. Even if he was a member of the Emilia camp she could have forged a deal with him to translate Hoshin's texts. A joint effort between their two camps again. But now he was gone before such a lucrative idea could ever take root.
Anastasia: [He was right there! Al that motherfucker!]
Anastasia screamed in absolute rage as she swung her arm clearing her desk causing everything to fall, shattering on the ground as she flipped her table in a fit of rage. She stood there huffing from venting her anger as she took deep breaths.

Julius sat in his room.
Julius: (I'm truly worried about you Subaru. My friend.)
Julius thought back to when they first met.
Julius: [I never did get to ask you what you were talking about that could have stained my clothes.]
He chuckled at the fond memory.
Julius: [You're the only one that remembers me... I wish you were here.]
Julius sat there when he heard a knock on the door.
Julius: [One second.]
Julius made himself presentable before he answered the door to find Rem and Spica standing there.
Julius: [Rem-san... can I ask why you are here?]
Rem: [Spica has figured out how to reverse the effects of Gluttony. We came as soon as possible. After all, you and Subaru-Kun are good friends so I didn't want to delay this if possible.]
Subaru felt a chill go up his spine.
Emilia: [What's wrong Subaru?]
Subaru: [It's nothing. Don't worry about it Emilia-tan.]
Subaru: (Strange though. My tsundere sense just went off for some reason.) AN: LOL he can feel the love of his husband from across worlds and responds to it in tsundere fashion.
Julius smiled.
Julius: (Even when you're not here your goodwill turns out well for others... you truly are remarkable... Natsuki Subaru.) AN: Gay
Julius stood there as Spica touched his forehead. A second later Anastasia bolted into the room hugging Julius.
Julius: [Anastasia-sama?]
Anastasia: [Julius... I'm so sorry!]
Julius gave her a soft smile.
Julius: [Thank you for remembering me.]
Anastasia: [I love you Julius.]
Julius: [I love Subaru.]
Rem deadpanned.
AN: Wait... Hold on... That's not the right progression.
Julius: [Thank you for remembering me.]
Anastasia: [I'm sorry. I...]
Julius stepped back and gave her a bow.
Julius: [I am your knight Julius Juuklius. Natsuki Subaru's friend and I will work to live up to both of those titles.]
AN: *Natsuki Subaru's husband
Anastasia smiled as Rem also seemed happy.
Julius: Rem-san. Can we go to my brother next?]
Rem nodded.
Rem: [Of course.]
They went into the room as Joshua lay asleep and comatose. Spica raised her hand to his forehead as Joshua's eyes slowly opened. Julius and Anastasia looked shellshocked as the memories returned to them.
Julius: [Joshua!]
Joshua: [Brother?]
Julius hugged him as Joshua looked surprised.
Joshua: [What brought this on? Oh no! I haven't delivered the message yet.]
Anastasia and Julius looked surprised before smiling.
Anastasia: [Welcome back ya fool.]
She has a tear falling from her eye.
Joshua: [I'm very confused... huh? My body... it feels so stiff.]
Julius: [Please Joshua. We'll take this slowly.]
Julius helped his brother stand as Joshua leaned on his brother.
Joshua: [I'm sorry for being a burden.]
Julius: [Don't say that! Don't... you ever... say that.]
Julius felt tears falling from his eyes.
Joshua showed visible confusion.

Sylphy was sitting in the Mathers estate. She was obviously distraught over the fact that Emilia had been taken to another world but she found some solace knowing that Subaru was with her. After all according to Sylphy's logic those two together were unstopable.
Sylphy: [Emilia-sama. I hope you're happy over there.]
Rem: [Sylphy-San. We need to continue our work.]
Sylphy: [Coming Rem-San!]
Sylphy walked in a hurried pace, catching up with Rem.
Rem: [You're worried about Emilia-sama aren't you?]
Sylphy: [Ah... yes. I am.]
Rem: [Dont worry. Subaru-Kun will make sure she's safe.]
Sylphy: [Were you... close with them?]
Rem: [Um yes... even though I caused them many problems I really hope for the best for them.]
Rem gripped her broom tightly.
Sylphy: (She says that but...)
Sylphy then realised;
Emilia —> <— Subaru: X
Emilia —> <— Subaru -?> <— Rem: O
Her eyes widened at this revelation. Sylphy had thought Emilia and Subaru were a done deal. A perfect couple but Rem was also in the picture and had a daughter that showed up only a few days ago.
Sylphy: (It couldn't be... is Spica Rem and Subaru's daughter? But no... the hair. It's blonde. From yet another woman?)
Sylphy thought about it, completely misunderstanding the situation in classic fashion.
Sylphy: (Could it be that Subaru-San is actually an adulterer?)
Sylphy shook her head cutely.
Sylphy: (No! No! No! I must have faith in the EMT. Emilia-sama would never choose an adulterous person.)
Sylphy then thought of Emilia and Subaru.
Sylphy: (I wonder if their relationship has progressed any further?)
Sylphy imagined a quarter elf girl calling her "Auntie Sylphy" as she got a nosebleeed from the overwhelming cuteness.
Rem: [Eh are you okay Sylphy-san?]
Sylphy wiped her nose.
Sylphy: [Um it's nothing. I just thought of something incomprehensibly cute and took some damage. It was worth it.]
Rem: [I see. I always felt that way thinking on Subaru-kun having children. Was it something like that?]
Sylphy: [Yes!]
Rem: [Subaru-kun is so handsome so I know his kids would be so cute!]
Rem: (Having children with Subaru-kun. Spica will be a big sister one day. I know it!)
Sylphy: [Yes. Subaru-san's kids would be very cute]
Sylphy: (Because they would also be Emilia-sama's kids.)
The two maids were day-dreaming about two very different and yet very similar things.
Ram: [Get your head out of the clouds you two. I expected better from you Rem.]
Rem: [Oh. Sorry Nee-sama.]
Sylphy: [I apologise Ram-san.]
The two hurried, following after Ram as they committed to their duties as maids.
