Emilia sat down so that she could study her next assigned work.
Emilia: [Its been so strict but... it's easing up a lot thanks to Subaru and Beatrice.]
Emilia opened the workbook. Sex Ed.
Emilia: [Eh?!!]
Emilia blushed at the diagrams being shown to her.
Naoko: [What's wrong Emilia-chan?]
Emilia: [Um...]
Naoko: [Sex Ed. I see. That can be pretty uncomfortable but it's important. Here. I'll help you through it.]
Emilia: [Um thank you.]

By the end of it Emilia was confident that she understood everything but she was also embarrassed.
Emilia: [So... boys want to do this a lot?]
Naoko: [Definitely.]
Emilia: [Uh... even Subaru?]
Naoko: [My son is pretty pure hearted with a lot of stuff. I've never found any dirty magazines in his room so either he's very restrained or he's very good at hiding it.]
Emilia: [I... I see.]
Naoko: [All boys are at least a little bit perverted. Remember that. But the good ones hold themselves back for the feelings of the girl they like. I'm sure my son is like that.]
Emilia smiled.
Emilia: [I... I see.]
All the feelings she'd had for Subaru. The times where she felt hot. She now understood why. She was embarrassed to admit in but it was undoubtedly sexual attraction.
Emilia: (All this time... I've actually felt that way about Subaru?)
At that very moment as if the gods themselves had planned it, Subaru walked up to Emilia. She blushed seeing him so soon after the revelations she'd experienced concerning Sex Ed.
Subaru: [Emilia-tan! Let's watch a movie together!]
Emilia: [Eh? Um sure.]
Subaru got the remote and turned on the tv putting on a horror movie. Subaru put a box of popcorn between them as they watched the movie. He didn't even flinch at any of the scenes.
Subaru: (Meh. Been through worse.)
Emilia on the other hand was only startled by the jump scares. Subaru held her by the shoulder pulling her closer, casually without any hesitation.
Emilia: (Eh? All of a sudden.)
Emilia was now very aware of the tension between her and Subaru coming from both sides so she blushed intensely.
Emilia: (Subaru looks so.. confident and... handsome.)
Subaru: (Argh!!! What the hell am I doing? Am I insane? Really just what am I doing?!!! This is so freaking corny!)
Subaru: [It's alright. I'm here for you Emilia-tan. None of them would be able to get to you with me here.]
Subaru: (Well it's objectively true. The villains are so damn obvious it might only take me one loop and that's being generous. Dumbass main characters. Why would you go investigate the sound? On your own of all things?)
Eventually Emilia yawned.
Subaru: [You feeling sleepy Emilia-tan?]
Emilia: [No... I'm fine. I just... Zzz.]
Subaru: (Damn the movie got boring at the end.)
That's when Emilia in her sleep fell into Subaru's lap.
Subaru: [Eh?]
Subaru smiled.
Subaru: [It's my... my honor to give... give Emilia-tan a lap pillow... Zzz.]

Subaru woke up yawning and got up from his faithful bed. The couch. Well he tried to. That's when... he realised. There were arms wrapped around him.
Emilia: [Ssshtop moving so much.]
Subaru: [What the...?]
Emilia tightened her hug.
Subaru: [Oh crap!]
Subaru: (I remember watching a movie with Mili last night when she fell asleep with her head on my lap. When did I take her back to her bed?)
Subaru then realised.
Subaru: (I must have fallen asleep too.)
He had a smile on his face.
Subaru: (Sleeping in the right next to Emilia-tan. This is a dream come true but this sweet dream is going to kill me if I don't escape soon.)
Subaru: [Mili... too tight.]
Emilia: [I love you Subaru.]
Subaru went beat red. He knew she was sleep talking but damn did it feel good.
Subaru: [Pretty sure I'm going to get a big head full of ego soon if this continues. Maybe I should try football. Nah. I'd suck at it.]
AN: Bitch please. You've fought people who were unbound by all the concepts of the world and a guy who can cut literal concepts. You'd smoke every player on the field.
Subaru: [Mili. It's time to wake up.]
Naoko walked into the living room to see her son being hugged by Emilia as she slept.
Naoko: [Oh wow... I'm going to be a grandmother already?]
Subaru: [It's not what you think mom!]
Kenichi: [Hey what's up... damn. You move fast son.]
Subaru: [It's not that at all!]
Emilia seemed to choose now as a good time to wake up.
Emilia: [Eh? Subaru?]
Subaru: [Good morning my EMT.]
Emilia: [Good morning Subaru.]
She then realised they'd slept like this and blushed intensely.
Emilia: [Eh? Um...]
Subaru: [Are you okay Mili?]
Emilia: [I... I'm fine.
Naoko: (She seems more aware of him now.)
Subaru: [Hm? Where is my Beako?]
Subaru walked down stairs to Beatrice on the computer immersed in learning about artificial intelligence.
Subaru: [Beako? Did you stay up all night?]
Beatrice: [Betty was very interested in this topic, in fact.]
Naoko: [Don't you need sleep, Betty-chan?]
Beatrice: [Betty is a spirit. While sleep can help Betty relieve her tiredness it is not nessasary as long as Betty does not put in strenuous effort in regards to magic.]
Subaru: [Spirits use sleep to recover mana. As long as they have mana they won't get tired.]
Kenichi: [Damn I'm jealous. If only I could do that. Then I could spend as much time with my family as I wanted.]
Subaru: [Couldn't have said it better myself.]
Emilia just stared at Subaru, taking in his form.

Subaru was sewing a new dress as a prototype. He'd already begun to hire people to sew for him but he insisted on being the one the sew the prototypes.
Subaru: [Managed to pay off the mortgage on the house and now we're pretty well off. I'm... really glad I've been able to make it up to Mom and Dad this much at least. Still I got a lot more to do.]
Subaru finished the design.
Subaru: [The best part about it? I get to see my beautiful Emilia-tan in this!]
Speaking of the Half-Elf Emilia walked into his workshop.
Emilia: [Subaru.]
Subaru: [Emilia-tan! I'm so glad to see you here! Is there something you need from your number one knight and boyfriend?]
Emilia: [I'm taking you out on a date Subaru!]
Subaru: [...]
He was shocked to say the least.
Subaru: [Emilia-tan planning a date for me? My heart is filled with joy! But don't you have to study?]
Emilia: [I finished all my work for the week]
Subaru: [Whoa. You really wanted to go on this date huh?]
Emilia: [Yes, so leave it all to me!]
Subaru: [I'll look forward to it.]
There were so many things Emilia was curious about but the thing she was most curious about was something she knew she'd only understand if she experienced it first hand from Subaru's perspective.

She was wearing the dress he had just made.

Subaru: [I really gave it my all in choosing this outfit. So... where are you taking me?]
Emilia: [It's a surprise.]
She handed him a blindfold.
Subaru: [Well okay.]
He put it on.
Emilia: [Let's go!]
They both tapped on and got on the train.

Subaru stood in what felt like wet grass.
Emilia: [You can take off your blindfold now.]
Subaru slowly removed the blindfold as he saw it. The snowy fields of his favourite trip to go on on the holidays.
Subaru: [This place... how did you... and it doesn't snow this time of year... Emilia-tan did you...]
Emilia smiled.
Emilia: [Surprise Subaru.]
Subaru: [Emilia-tan... this is just like when me and my parents used to come here. They must have told you. Thank you so much.]
Subaru kissed her as Emilia felt like she was melting into it. Ironic considering that she used fire magic to cool the atmosphere to generate ice.
Subaru: [Emilia-tan let's have a snowball fight.]
Emilia: [A snow... ball fight? But I don't want to fight you Subaru. That's dangerous.]
Subaru: [No it's just a game. We just throw snowballs at each other. No winner. No loser. Just a lot of fun.]
Emilia: [That sounds reaaally fun. Why didn't you tell me about it sooner Subaru?]
Subaru: [I see now the gravity of my sin. I beg for your forgiveness dear snow princess.]
Emilia pouted.
Emilia: [You're making fun of me again Subaru!]
Suddenly she felt something hit her face and Subaru having thrown it at her. A snowball.
Emilia: [That's no fair Subaru!]
Subaru: [There is no such thing as fair in a snowball fight Mili.]
Emilia: [Al Huma.]
A huge and soft snowball hovered above Emilia.
Subaru: [Im so cooked.]
She fired it as Subaru ran away only to get hit. Slowly he popped his head out of the mound of snow collapsed on top of him.
Subaru: [Using magic is unfair Emilia-tan.]
Emilia: [There is no such thing as fair in a snowball fight Subaru.]
Subaru was defeated by his own words. He stared at her for a second and then... he laughed.
Subaru: [But seriously it won't be fun if you're allowed to just hurl giant snowballs at me.]
Emilia: [Okkie fine.]
They started running around throwing snowballs at each other as they laughed together. Eventually as the day was spent and night fell.
Subaru: [Crap Mom and Dad are gonna be worried about us.]
Emilia: [I already told them you'd be back tomorrow.]
Subaru: [Whoa. You really thought of everything huh Emilia-tan. My heart is completely yours.]
Emilia: [I had to ask Beatrice and your parents about a lot of things first.]
Subaru: [Hey today was amazing and you put in the effort giving me an amazing date.]
Emilia smiled.
Emilia: [I'm glad you're happy.]
Subaru: [But why'd you tell Mom and Dad that we'd be back tomorrow? We can still make it back.]
Emilia: [Its late and you should take a shower soon so that you don't get a cold.]
Subaru: [Alright. Fine. Emilia-tan sure is pampering me today. It makes me so happy.]
Emilia smiles at this glad that her date had been good.
Subaru: [We should buy some spare clothes for me first.]

They arrived at a clothes store as Subaru picked something with good style and went to the woman manning the register who went crazy.
Woman: [Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!]
Subaru: (Looks like another falls victim to the EMT.)
Woman: [You're... Natsuki Subaru!!!]
Subaru: [Eh?]
Woman: [Youre the designer for Pleiades Fashion and... whoa!!! You're Emilia Ellior!]
Both Subaru and Emilia looked shy.
Woman: [Please I want to get into fashion too. Tell me. What inspired you?]
Subaru: [I wanted to see my girlfriend in cute outfits.]
Woman: [I can respect that.]
She nodded in agreement with his motivation having a similar motivation to do with her younger sister. Subaru and Emilia bought the clothes and left.

They ended up at a motel as Subaru walked up to the clerk.
Clerk: (Whoa he bagged a girl that beautiful. Teach me your ways master.)
Subaru: [I just need to use the showers.]
Clerk: [Sorry but motel policy is that you have to check in to use the rooms services like the showers.]
Subaru: [Ugh fine.]
Subaru paid the amount as he and Emilia headed to the room.
Subaru: [I'll be out in a minute. Just wait out here.]
Subaru took his shower and got out expecting Emilia to be waiting outside the room but... she was waiting inside the room.
Subaru: [Um... Emilia-tan?]
Subaru: (What is going on here?)
Emilia: [Subaru. There are some things I've been curious about. Things I want to try with you.]
Subaru blushed.
Subaru: [Emilia-tan if you say things like that, some people will assume you mean something naughty.]
Emilia: [Those people would be right. I know we shouldn't yet but I... I reaaally want to try this with you.]
Subaru went beet red.
Subaru: [Huh? Wait... are you really serious?]
Subaru: (This is no joke. I'm actually going to be devoured today. I'm so cooked.)
