Chapter 163 - Chapter 163: With Me Here, No One Can Force You

In the second-floor living room of the residence.

As Lin's voice fell, the air seemed to freeze in an instant.

The two burly, middle-aged men in suits furrowed their brows, their eyes narrowing slightly behind their sunglasses as they gazed at Lin. An invisible baleful aura flickered in and out of existence.

It wasn't killing intent, but a baleful aura—a special momentum condensed from experiencing hundreds, even thousands of battles and slaying countless enemies. Even if only a fraction of a fraction leaked out, if Lin were an ordinary Earthling, this aura alone would likely make his eyes roll back as he fainted on the spot.

Obviously, Lin was no ordinary person.

Looking at Lin, the two middle-aged men realized this as well. A trace of hesitation flashed through their eyes. They hesitated on whether to make a move. If this were any other planet, encountering an existence like Lin, they would have simply knocked him out to keep things simple.

However, this was Earth.

But their hesitation was fleeting. As brave and battle-hardened elite warriors, they immediately decided on a swift conclusion. As long as they didn't kill Lin, merely knocking him out wouldn't violate the Galaxy Ban Treaty.

"Stop."

Just then, a voice rang out. The two middle-aged men, who were just preparing to attempt knocking Lin out, instantly stood at attention.

A light flashed outside. A figure appeared on the balcony.

He wore custom-made armor, a red cape swaying gently behind him. A sword hung at his waist. His stature was tall, imposing, and upright. He had a handsome face and short, messy gray-white hair.

"Zastin!"

Seeing this young man, Lala's expression changed slightly.

The young man—Zastin, as Lala called him—first glanced at Lala, then looked toward Lin. As the Captain of the Deviluke Royal Guard and the strongest swordsman, his intuition told him that the Earthling before him was absolutely no ordinary person; his strength was likely extremely formidable.

The strong deserved to be treated as such. Thus, he spoke with a slight apology:

"Sir, first of all, on behalf of my subordinates, I apologize for their rude intrusion into your home."

"However..."

He paused slightly at this point, then glanced at Lala and continued: "What is happening now is a family matter of ours. Please do not interfere."

"We received orders from Lala's father to bring the runaway Lala back home. It is not to harm her."

"So, I hope you can understand."

As his voice fell, before Lin could say anything, Lala, standing behind him, couldn't help but place her hands on her hips and pout slightly:

"I'm not going back."

"I've had enough. I don't care about being an heir or whatever; he always wants me to go on marriage interviews."

"But..."

Hearing Lala say this, Zastin froze for a moment and said:

"Lala, this is your father's will..."

"So I said I've had enough!"

Before he could finish, he was directly interrupted by Lala. She continued:

"From now on, I'm going to live on Earth. I absolutely will not go back."

Zastin's expression darkened slightly.

"Lala, this is your father's order. You must return with us."

"Please do not force me to take action."

"Lala..."

At this moment, Lin turned to look at the somewhat resentful Lala.

"Do you really not want to go home?"

"Mm-hm, mm-hm."

Lala nodded her small head vigorously. Clearly, she was very unwilling.

Lin smiled faintly at her:

"In that case, until you want to go home, Lala, just stay at my place."

"With me here, no one can force you to do things you don't like."

"..."

Hearing Lin's words, Zastin and his two subordinates in suits and sunglasses couldn't help but frown. Things had become tricky.

"Lin!!!"

Hearing Lin say this, Lala couldn't help but widen her eyes slightly. A sudden, inexplicable palpitation stirred in her heart. Her heartbeat began to accelerate. A thought involuntarily popped into her mind.

Zastin placed his left hand on his sword, his expression darkening as he looked at Lin.

"Sir, are you sure you want to interfere in our family affairs?"

Obviously, he was ready to make a move. Diplomacy had failed, so force would follow. Even if it violated the Galaxy Ban Treaty, he had to take Lala away.

The two men in suits and sunglasses sensed their boss's intent. Their bodies tensed slightly as they stared straight at Lin, ready to launch an attack at any moment.

"Domain Expansion: Kingship Territory."

Seeing this scene, the corners of Lin's mouth lifted slightly. Before his voice had even faded, a Kingship Territory with a radius of ten thousand meters instantly unfurled, encompassing everyone present within it.

"This is?!"

Zastin and the two men in suits, having been pulled into the Kingship Territory, changed their expressions slightly, their vigilance instantly maxed out. They looked toward Lin.

When they saw Lin sitting high upon the Golden Throne, their pupils constricted slightly, and their vision blurred. For an instant, it was as if they saw the King in their own hearts. A thought of submission surfaced in their minds.

But they quickly sensed something was wrong. Their long-tempered wills allowed them to snap back to reality quickly, and they frowned slightly.

Not far from the Golden Throne.

"Wow, what ability is this?"

Lala opened her big eyes wide, examining the scenery of the Kingship Territory before her. Lin on the Golden Throne, seven great swords of different shapes suspended around him, the surroundings resembling a cosmic sea of stars. She couldn't help but feel a strong curiosity.

Peke, on Lala's body, was shocked seeing this scene:

"Lala, just who exactly is Lin?"

Lala did not respond to Peke. Her gaze was locked onto Lin.

Lin looked down at Zastin below and smiled faintly, saying:

"Come, defeat me."

"Bring out your full strength. I hope you don't disappoint me."

As his voice fell, the Gold and Silver Swords of Damocles vanished, transforming into King's Generals in front of Zastin and the others.

Lin was a bit interested in seeing just how strong Zastin, the Captain of the Deviluke Royal Guard and strongest swordsman, really was.

The Golden General locked onto Zastin. The golden greatsword behind it turned into light, covering its massive body. It punched toward Zastin.

Zastin instantly drew his Photon Sword, dodging the Golden General's attack with a flash of movement, and slashed toward its waist.

Meanwhile, the Silver General engaged the two men in suits and sunglasses. Without using weapons, it launched attacks with bare hands. This wasn't a life-or-death battle, as Lin was controlling the combat power. An invisible spatial barrier divided the area into two independent battlefields.

Lala also temporarily shifted her attention, looking at the battlefield below, beginning to spectate alongside Lin.

Zastin's Photon Sword slashed against the Golden General's waist. With a hiss, sparks flew, emitting the sound of clashing metal. The slashed wound healed in the blink of an eye.

Seeing this, Zastin's gaze narrowed.

The Golden General used both fists and feet; every punch and every kick carried terrifying power capable of shattering mountains and rivers. Sensing the power in those strikes, Zastin didn't dare to take them head-on. He relied on the application of spatial abilities to dodge attacks and counterattack.

However, the Photon Sword, which could easily cleave through most matter in the universe, could not slice the golden warrior before him in two. The wounds inflicted healed instantly.

It was clear he was completely at a disadvantage; he was being countered. He couldn't deal effective damage to the Golden General, but once he was hit, he would suffer injuries that wouldn't be light. Even with armor protection, his physical fortitude was considerable.
