Chapter 24 - Chapter 6: Why Can't I Find Someone Suitable?

I clenched the table with all my strength as I remembered what just happened before me.

Nakamura was nothing like he was described to be. He was so lackluster that I couldn't help but be frustrated.

Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?!!!

I thought I found the person who would spearhead us to pass even Class Alpha but he was just another moron.

While he seemed to have some semblance of courage–considering he did remind me of 'that,' he didn't seem to have the courage to do 'it'—I was sure he would freeze up midway, in fact 'that' was the reason I was actually shook by him.

At any rate, now I was left with nothing, what would I tell Father? I had failed him, again.

I'm a disappointment.

That was right, I was nothing but a disappointment to him—I kept doing this over and over again.

I can't find anyone suitable; the only ones left are Ito, who is definitely Not suitable, Kagurazaka but she has…issues, Suzuki but it's best to leave her be, and lastly A–But should I have been more energetic?

I had been intentionally lackadaisical and insultive towards my students in an attempt to motivate them.

In a way it worked, they began to pay attention to me, well, after they realised they couldn't survive in this school by not paying attention to authority.

However, they were still not up to par compared to the other classes.

I even constantly re-read the student records of my class to find more hidden gems than the present five that I was aware of.

Yet, nothing worked.

But this shouldn't even have been happening, Father said that Nakamura would be enough.

He told me about him—yet he was nothing like he said, now what do I do?

He said he was greater than anyone here, that he was a strategic gen—

Wait a minute, Ito told me yesterday that Nakamura was shy when talking with him but when they started discussing his plan, Nakamura's voice grew cold.

That was the reason I applied pressure today, but that turned counter-productive.

However, what if even when he entered my faculty room, what if he was just faking it?

I mean Father never lied so that was the only way, looks like I will have to find out more about this guy.

That being said, what Nakamura Eiya has done should suffice for now, that's if he continues in that manner.

That is of course only until I find something that can be used against him then he'll have no choice but to follow my instructions and at last, I will be the first teacher to lead a class to victory, of course, only if the present third-years fail.

At any rate, I'll… Stop being a disappointment.
