Chapter 23 - The Fallen God’s Second Dawn: The New Age

Chapter 1 — The World Without Gods

Ten years had passed since the day Eryndor gave up his divinity.

The world had changed.

The old gods were silent. The temples that once praised them had become ruins, and people had slowly learned to live without divine protection.

But in the small village of Breya, one person still remembered.

Seliora.

She stood outside her cottage beneath the evening sky, watching the stars.

For years, she had carried a strange feeling in her heart.

Like she had once loved someone important.

Someone whose name she could no longer remember.

Every night, the same dream returned.

A silver moon.

A field covered in white flowers.

And a young man standing far away.

She could never reach him.

She could never hear his voice clearly.

But tonight was different.

The wind suddenly stopped.

The stars disappeared.

A dark circle slowly covered the moon.

An eclipse.

Seliora looked up in shock.

"This isn't a normal eclipse…"

Across the world, strange things began happening.

Ancient statues opened their eyes.

Forgotten magical crystals began glowing.

Deep beneath ruined temples, sealed doors started to move.

And in the forest near Breya, a mysterious silver light appeared.

Seliora followed it.

At the center of the forest stood an ancient stone covered with a symbol she had never seen before.

Yet somehow…

She knew it.

A circle divided perfectly between light and darkness.

Balance.

Her hand trembled as she touched it.

Suddenly, a voice echoed inside her mind.

"Seliora…"

Her eyes widened.

That voice.

She had heard it before.

A tear slipped down her cheek.

"Eryndor…?"

The stone shattered.

A wave of silver energy spread through the forest.

Far beyond the sky, beyond the stars, something awakened.

Something that had been waiting for ten years.

A voice whispered from the darkness:

"The Fallen God has been gone long enough."

The eclipse reached its peak.

And somewhere in another realm…

A pair of silver eyes opened.

"Now… the second dawn begins."
