Notes From The Author

On Cyrus, The Protagonist

Cyrus is not a kind person. He is a regressor who has lived through the end of the world already, and he knows better than anyone how dark, selfish and cruel the human heart can be.

In an apocalypse, desperation strips away all facades of morality, leaving only survival.

That also said, Cyrus is not heartless either. He follows his own moral compass, a line he refuses to cross even when pushed to the most hopeless situations. He will kill, betray and manipulating if necessary but will never become the very monster he despises.

Do not mistake this for kindness, it's conviction and conviction alone.

On Side Characters.

This novel will not treat side characters as disposable props around the mc.

Each one has :

• Backgrounds that shaped them.

• Personalities that will clash or align with Cyrus in unpredictable ways.

• Worldviews that may contradict the protagonist's.

They will get their own moments, arcs and growth. Some will inspire, some will betray and some will fall but all will matter.

On Noah

Noah is not a system. If you are expecting a cold mechanical voice announcing levels and skills, this is not the kind of story. Noah is the last legacy of a destroyed Level 9 Cosmic Civilization. It has its own emotions,it's own morals and it's own questions. It is a being that will challenge Cyrus not spoon feed him power.

On Strength And Struggle.

Power in this world is never free. Cyrus will fight and bleed on every step of the way. Every ability, every advancement, every "gift " comes with a price that could cost his life. He will face enemies stronger and smarter than him, be cornered and be forced into situations where the only option are to adapt, outhink or perish.

On Romance

Yes, there will be romance but it will not be shallow or convenient. The female lead is not a "yes man ". She had her own goals, ideals and motivations.

Sometimes, those will clash with Cyrus, sometimes she will challenge him, their relationship will be ome of equals, two people who complement and complete each other not blind devotion.
