Chapter 63 - Quar 1

[A/N: Many people seem to have a misunderstanding about what Ur-tier abilities actually are. So let's create an example for a moment—let's say there exists an Ur-tier talent called Omni Dodge. At tier 1, this talent would grant the user Absolute Dodge, meaning they can avoid any attack directed at them with no exceptions tied to power, speed, or physical limits.

Now imagine Goku standing in front of the user. Imagine him stacking every form he has—fusing, awakening, combining Ultra Instinct, Ultra Ego, Legendary Super Saiyan Blue, whatever level you want to picture. None of it changes the result. No matter how strong he becomes or how fast he moves, he would never land a single hit on someone with that talent. The user could have a combat power of 1, while Goku's power could reach into the trillions or beyond, but Absolute Dodge would still make every strike miss until the user eventually ran out of energy from dodging. That is the nature of an Ur-tier talent.

Now put that same person in front of an ability like All Fiction. Even then, the user would continue dodging it. Anything All Fiction tries to turn into "fiction" would be avoided automatically, because everything directed toward the user falls under the concept of something that must be dodged. The only way around it would be if All Fiction could target a deeper layer of reality—for instance, erasing the concept of dodging itself.

But the Ur-tier user would dodge that too, forcing All Fiction to erase the concept on a level so fundamental that everyone in existence would forget what dodging is and how it works. Dodging would become something that never existed, never happened, and never could happen. And All Fiction can't do that, since its effect still allows people to remember what it turns into fiction.

The point is this: Ur-tier talents embody the purest possible form of whatever their concept is. They don't just express the idea—they represent the highest, truest version of it. To cancel one out, you need another Ur-tier talent. For example, Absolute Aim could counter Absolute Dodge.

Nexus Barrier, however, is unusual. It's a math-based power, meaning its strength depends on the user's understanding of the mathematical structure behind what's being targeted. If MC obtains the math behind Absolute Aim, then he can counter it—even if the Absolute Aim user is tier 8 and MC is tier 1. The key indicator of whether MC can parse the math is the color he perceives. If something appears to him the same way it appears to a normal person, then its underlying math is still too complicated for him to grasp.

Not all Tier abilities are equal in nature, and Ur-tiers stand above that system entirely. MC's Ur-tier talent would be fought over throughout the entire multiverse; his would be ranked amongst the highest. And besides all that, Dwalin isn't even a fighter; this chapter explains why in more detail.

If any part of this is still confusing, feel free to ask, and I'll clarify it further.]

Thanks to Unchangeable, it bypassed strength and physical power and all conventional defenses, for the move could affect the world around it, and the world couldn't affect it or stop it from functioning.

Lastly, was Unstoppable added to the combination? Vector control allowed Seth to take hold of this incredibly powerful effect and control it precisely to target only those he wanted it to target and no one else.

He could even alter it on the fly, allowing it to adapt and face new concepts and abilities as they appeared. This combined technique was what Seth called Nexus Blue. Sadly, it could only work at 100% effectiveness for at most 45 seconds before Seth had to remove Unchangeable from the combination; otherwise, the strain would be too much, and his heart would explode from the pressure.

"Ready?" Seth asked, infusing Nexus Blue into his fist and feeling the power concentrate there. Chu Yin weakly nodded in response, exhausted but determined, and without another word being spoken, he disappeared from his position.

He used another application of Nexus Blue to pull himself forward through space at incredible speed, creating an afterimage that remained where he had been standing. At the same time, this made it look like he just appeared instantly before Dwalin without traveling the distance, whose eyes widened in shock and surprise.

Seth's fist connected solidly with Dwalin's chest, causing Dwalin to cough up a mouthful of blood that sprayed from his mouth. Dwalin had thought he was buying time by not attacking Seth directly and preparing his weapon. But in reality, Seth had been buying time for Unchangeable to cool down and finish its cooldown period so he could use this devastating combination.

Dwalin almost instantly fainted from the impact, his consciousness nearly leaving him. Even with his powerful armor and all his defense buffs active and protecting him, it was nothing before that fist infused with Nexus Blue, and Seth's Haki layered on top. Luckily for him, Seth had not yet mastered his Haki to its full potential, or else he would have died instantly from this single clash without any chance of survival.

But still, even without mastery, the fist felt like absolute hell for Dwalin. He was sucked towards the fist against his will, and the laws of reality and logic were sucked with him into the point of impact.

He felt like he was hit twice at the exact same time by two separate forces, causing the damage to more than double from the layered effect. Seth didn't give him any chance to recover or defend himself, after all, he only had 45 seconds to work with before the technique failed.

So he pulled back and punched forward with his other fist, aiming to finish this… just for it to disappear completely as the Absolute Destroyer, the sword's destructive power took effect and erased his arm from existence. His body could have been erased, but Chu Yin's ice shielded him once more.

After creating that protective ice, Chu Yin lost more of her flesh, the skin crumbling away like ash as she pushed herself beyond her limits, leaving her a skeleton. She was unable to keep creating Ice made purely to defend against that sword's absolute power without paying a heavy price.

She was still only tier one in strength. The fact that she could even do stuff like this, manipulating Ice itself to counter absolute destruction, showed just how close her talent was to reaching Ur tier… well, it pretty much was Ur tier in nature; it just didn't have the natural buff to make her resistant to its power and prevent the backlash that would destroy her body.

"Hurry. The sword can destroy without swinging." Chu Yin said urgently, her voice strained from the effort. This made Seth grit his teeth in frustration, feeling the pressure mounting. He needed a few seconds to calculate the sword's destructive power properly, assign a numerical value to it, and allow his Nexus barrier to counteract it effectively… but time was something they didn't have.

"I have to fight like I'm going to kill him," Seth said, his voice carrying grim determination. This made Chu Yin hesitate for a moment as she processed what that meant. If he killed Dwalin, then they were indeed going to have to face the whole empire and everyone in it seeking revenge.

"You have no choice." She said with a heavy sigh, accepting the reality of their situation. Without another word being spoken between them, Seth forcefully activated Nexus Blue and reversed it, flipping its function completely. This took a lot of energy and concentration since he had not mastered this power or practiced it much, but the reversed form of Nexus Blue was Nexus Red, the opposite power to push away all things instead of pulling them in.

Seth shot towards the Sword of Destruction at maximum speed, creating another Nexus Blue in his remaining hand, which had healed, although he only had one hand since the sword of destruction had nullified his ability to heal the hand it had taken.

Anyways, at the same time, he manifested the massive Red Orb of energy, which was Nexus Red, which appeared in the void where his palm would have been.

"I don't need to know it to destroy it! Naxus Purple!" Seth yelled, taking the Blue and Red orbs and forcing the two together despite their opposing natures.

Instantly, as the two orbs met and touched, it was like reality itself became a yin-yang space divided down the middle. One side was red, and the other blue, divided by a thin layer of water-like energy which ripped and tore as the two opposite forces came together, forcefully fusing in a chaotic, unbalanced mix that shouldn't exist.

It was chaos at its peak and purest form, a chaotic, unstable purple energy that swirled violently, with the power to erase all things from existence, pretty much functioning as reality's delete button.

It clashed with the sword of absolute destruction in a collision of immense power, creating a battle between destruction and erasure. Chu Yin and Seth, both appearing light years away from the impact zone after retreating, held their breath as they watched the clash unfold before them. The collision erased both reality and space around them, leaving nothing but void in its wake.

Dwalin was caught in the midst of this devastating clash, leaving him badly injured and bleeding on the brink of death as he barely escaped the epicenter. His armor was completely erased, leaving him vulnerable and exposed.

"Go while they are distracted." Chu Yin said quickly, her tactical mind already analyzing their escape route. She realized everyone in the empire should be focused on their king right now, who had nearly died and needed immediate attention.

Seth didn't even think or hesitate, as in an instant, he used Blue one final time. He used Blue once more, and with Red behind him to push him, he moved at extreme speed.

But then, Seth quickly slammed into an invisible barrier that even he couldn't see with his enhanced vision, stopping him dead in his tracks. At the exact same time, the Purple orb of erasure he had launched towards Dwalin was erased from existence itself, with Dwalin being saved from certain death

"I'm pretty sure I tasked you to run the empire, and not waste your time doing whatever nonsense this is." A deep voice sounded through the air, carrying weight and authority. With that voice appeared a dwarf who had scarlet red hair that seemed to glow faintly. He wore simple clothing that looked plain and unremarkable, and he looked at Dwalin with clear disappointment. Dwalin quickly fell to his knees in respect and submission the moment he saw his father.

"Father, I just wanted to have some fun," Dwalin said, trying to justify his actions. But his words only made his father grow angrier, his expression darkening further.

"I didn't make you king to have fun," He said coldly, his voice cutting through any excuses. Dwalin was pretty much a puppet king with no real power.

Yeah, he was talented compared to most, but in his father's and siblings' eyes, he wasn't really that talented at all compared to them. So, from a young age, he had been trained specifically to be king, so that his father could put all of his focus and attention into blacksmithing without worrying about running the empire.

Dwalin wasn't a good blacksmith by his family's standards, nor was he a good fighter compared to others at his level. The fact that Seth, who was only at tier 1, with Nexus eyes at level 4, could barely make out the weapons he had created and their properties was a clear sign of that lack of true mastery.

But for Dwalin's father? Seth couldn't even see through the man's simple shirt with all his enhanced vision; they were all basic colors that a normal human would see, meaning the man skills in blacksmithing were far beyond his ability to perceive.

Be it Seth or Chu Yin looking at him, that was all they could see with their abilities until Quar reached out and grabbed onto reality itself with his hand. In that instant, reality became multiple things at once—it became fire for heat, a forge for shaping, a hammer for striking, and the ore which was used to craft him a ring.

All of this happened simultaneously as he lazily put the newly created ring on his finger. With that ring now equipped, no matter how hard both of them looked at him with their eyes, they couldn't see a single thing about his true power or abilities anymore.
