Chapter 62 - Dwarven Empire 5

Of course, that was going to be an impossible task for most opponents to accomplish since with his 6 eyes active and enhancing his perception, Seth's brain functioned like an ultra-fast supercomputer capable of processing information at incredible speeds that most couldn't even comprehend.

Speed was another weakness in his ability. Unstoppable, he couldn't control the Vector moving faster than he could comprehend. The only thing that reliably got around someone being faster than him was Unchangeable. But even then, it had a cooldown period after use that left him vulnerable.

"Yeah," Seth said softly, acknowledging her valid point with clear resignation in his voice.

"You know he is holding back?" She asked softly, stating what they both already knew to be true from observing the fight. Everything Dwalin had shown them so far in this battle was him holding back significantly to see the full level of Seth's capability and all his abilities before he committed to going all out with his real power and stopped playing around.

"Yeah…" Seth said softly, understanding fully the dangerous position they were currently in and what it meant for their survival.

"The gate leading home has what I believe to be another Ur tier talent guarding it." Chu Yin said lightly, her tone casual despite the extreme severity of the information she was sharing.

This made Seth sigh deeply and heavily as he had, of course, already sensed the powerful guards stationed at the Gate with his enhanced senses that were constantly monitoring their surroundings.

Seeing as Dwalin was the grandson of the original person who made the wish and became a Ur tier talent in the first place, it was safe to guess and assume that his grandfather had a lot of kids to pass on his valuable talent to the next generation. And those children went on to have a lot of kids themselves to pass on the talent further down the family line, spreading it throughout their bloodline.

"Yeah…" Seth said softly. He could tell Dwalin wasn't a fighter; he was a blacksmith above everything, and was simply having fun. There was a good chance this empire had hundreds if not more, Ur-tier talents who could defeat Seth.

"Marrying her daughter was his best option. Do you regret it?" She asked softly, her question genuine and without any judgment in her tone.

This caused Seth to give her a weird look that clearly said he didn't appreciate the question or where she was going with it. He chose to ignore her completely and pulled out a skill upgrade orb from his inventory, intending to use it to power up. But Chu Yin quickly reached out with her hand and stopped him from using it rashly.

"If Nexus Barrier is this hard for you to upgrade, I can't imagine how hard the other skills you would unlock would be for you to upgrade. Let's focus on returning home." She said softly, her voice carrying genuine concern for their limited resources and future needs.

Skill upgrade orbs were hard to come by and incredibly rare items that shouldn't be wasted. Seth had not used any of his orbs yet since obtaining them, saving them carefully, and she would like him to continue saving them and only use them when absolutely needed and not waste them here in a situation they might be able to escape from without using them.

"Then let's go," Seth said, his eyes shifting to look towards Dwalin, who had allowed him to rest and recover for a moment since he was doing something that clearly needed some time and careful preparation.

He was drawing in the air with his own blood, creating intricate patterns and symbols that glowed faintly, something that was, of course, very troublesome and concerning to see happening before them.

"He had found a way to kill you; whatever weapon he is about to pull out must be a trump card of his. Take him hostage, I will freeze his ability to call upon his weapons." She said softly, her voice urgent despite remaining quiet.

Seth's eyes narrowed in response to her warning, processing the information quickly. He wanted to move in instantly to stop whatever Dwalin was preparing before it was complete, but with how Dwalin was looking at him with that confident expression and relaxed posture, he was sure the dwarf was fully ready and prepared for him to get close and had countermeasures already in place for that exact scenario.

'I should work on using Reverse Unreachable.' Seth thought with a heavy sigh, recognizing another gap in his abilities that he needed to address. But he shook his head firmly, pushing those thoughts aside for later and getting serious about the immediate danger they were facing.

He carefully put Chu Yin on his back, positioning her securely so she wouldn't fall, and she wrapped her arms around him tightly while using her ice powers to freeze his mind in a specific way that enhanced it.

This boosted his brain capability significantly beyond its normal limits and processing speed. He was able to boost his mind past its natural limit without worrying about it overheating or suffering permanent damage from the intense strain it was under.

But soon their attention fell to something that appeared. Both of their eyes widened in shock and alarm as they looked up at what was forming above them. Above them in the vast void of outer space, floating in the darkness, a massive black sword appeared slowly from a huge scarlet red magic circle that formed in the emptiness.

The sword was pitch black in color, absorbing all light around it; it carried an oppressive aura of absolute destruction that seemed to erase all things under the heavens just by existing in the same space as them.

"This should be his strongest weapon, a weapon of absolute Destruction. Be careful. Face it like you're facing Anos." She cried out urgently, her voice carrying genuine fear for the first time.

This made Seth roll his eyes at the comparison despite the very real danger they were in. He would have admitted defeat immediately and surrendered if he were facing someone as powerful as Anos.

But the next instant, before he could respond or say anything, a layer of ice covered his eyes completely, spreading across his vision. This boosted his eyesight to an incredible level where he could see the true color and nature of the sword beyond what his eyes could perceive before.

He couldn't help but swallow his saliva nervously, his throat going dry with fear. This was because this sword, even with Unreachable, Unstoppable, and Unchangeable all working together at the same time in perfect coordination, would still bypass all of them without any difficulty whatsoever.

[Name: Absolute Destoyer

Talent: Absolute Destruction.

 Ability: [Absolute Destruction]

[Absolute Destruction] This sword's sole goal in life is to destroy. No matter what the reason, cause, and effect, barrier, or power stops it. It destroys. It doesn't care for why, or how, or what logic has to say; it shall destroy. Once targeted, you shall be destroyed, no matter the defense, resistance, power, or ability. Destruction is your only fate.]

The massive sword swung forward with devastating intent, cutting towards Seth at impossible speed that defied all comprehension and logic… but a layer of invisible ice that had been placed on them by Chu Yin shattered off both him and Chu Yin in that critical moment just before impact.

That ice had canceled out the sword's absolute destructive power before it power could take effect and end their lives. Seth wasted absolutely no time and shot forward at his maximum speed towards Dwalin. He channeled Nexus Barrier into the space directly before him.

[A/N: If Chu Yin had an Ur Tier ability, it would have been of the highest level, and might even be stronger than MC. Bits of that potential show just like now.]

Instead of keeping Nexus Barrier around himself like he normally did, he projected it outward in the space right in front of him. Instantly, many things began to happen all at once in a cascade of effects.

The first thing that occurred was that thanks to Unreachable being active, the universe's senses couldn't sense that space at all, making it completely invisible to the natural laws. This made the universe think a void was there in that location; it tried to fill up that empty space with the space around it, pulling matter inward.

With Unchangeable added to the effect, the universe found what it perceived as a void of time in that same location, so it flooded that area with a lot of time to compensate and fill the gap. This led to the area having chaotic times where a person caught in it would find their own time being sucked right out of their body at an accelerated rate, erasing them from existence completely.

With Unchangeable and Unreachable working together in perfect harmony, it meant that space and time were both being pulled towards that single point in space with incredible force. Even if you could stand your ground and resist the physical pull, your time would be pulled right out of you regardless, ending your existence, no matter how strong you were.
