In a completely normal world, which have no otherworldly magic or natural qi stuff.
There was a Young Adult name Alex Beau, who by the age of 18 was quite familiar with the working of the world. He had no one, not because they left him but because he will leave them.
But suddenly the young adult was shot dead by his former friend or a close one who wanted to stay with him forever.
He was just thinking about what to do when he was transported to a new room.

When he was thinking what just happened to him in this past minute, the door suddenly open and he saw a breathtaking women who instantly smiled swing him.

Just like that seven years past by, He was living like a rich man. His name here was Alan Smith. His family was part of the Great clan of Song.
His family was rich and loving but his only problem was he would need to enter a trial called the nightmare spell ( he also had to spend most of his time learning politics, manners, etc and the way of sword ).
His new Father strict but kind to him would always say a man has to be ready for anything. It may be political or having to solve something through killing, he has to be ready.
Few months go by
He was attending a small party for the heir of some clan or children of important person. The type of thing you would see in every medieval novel.
He could see many young kids around his age trying to look mature and build connection. This act only made Alan laugh in his mind.
"Ok first plan act like a friendly person trying to make a friend with someone and aim at the most isolated person. Second plan interact with them. Third plan just leave the ball" He muttered to himself.
With the plan in his mind he started looking around the room. In a quiet corner he saw a young girl of 5 she had black hair and was sitting in a corner.
"Hello, why are you sitting in the corner?" He asked with a perfectly bright smile.
"I am the only one who is five here, everyone here is about 7 years and they all look so serious all the time" She said.
"They don't want to make friends with me because I am not from a clan" She said sadly.
"Then why don't we become friends, I don't want to be friends with them because they don't think like normal children and are always pretending" Alan said calmly.
"Will you be my friend, My name is Alan Smith." Alan introduced himself.
"My name is Rain" The little girl said smiling.
Just like that that 9 years go by
Alan was now 16 years old and will soon be infected by the nightmare spell.
His life until now was spend practicing the sword or spending time with his parent and his only friend Rain.
In this nine years Rain had grown quiet fond of him, often spending time together with him.
Rain had entered his parents life as his friend, but now she was like their daughter. Alan would sometimes joke about splitting the inheritance.
Today just like everyday he spent half the day practicing, "Alan let's go to the nearest arcade, Alan let's go to that restaurant my treat" Rain keep suggesting activities to do together.
"Alright alright let's go to the arcade and-" He got interrupted as he was quickly drag away by Rain.
And just like that his entire day was spent playing with Rain.
During dinner he suggested Rain about having a sleep over and ask whether she was ok with it.
Rain quickly typed "Mama I will be having a sleep over at Alan place tonight so can you pls pls handle papa? " And send it to her mother .
"Let's go we will spend the entire night grinding ranks" She said placing her hand on Alan shoulder.
The Next day
"Oi sleepy head wake up" Rain said shaking Alan body.
"Sleepy head?" Rain started shaking Alan body furiously.
