"Shit! Why did the Storm Church suddenly mobilize all their forces?"
In a secluded, dark alley in Bayam, a disguised Danitz pulled down his hat brim, warily scanning the patrolling Church personnel and police on the street.
After sending Luo En off that day, he didn't return to the Golden Dream. According to the captain, his previous vacation had been interrupted by a series of accidents, so after seeing Luo En off, he didn't need to rush back and could continue to finish his vacation.
However, he had only been carefree for a few days when he heard the news of pirates plundering a passenger ship, with no survivors.
Subsequently, rumors of a so-called severe crackdown spread from Bayam.
"Did something happen at sea...?" he muttered to himself, "I also heard rumors about the Storm Church besieging the Sea God before..."
"I hope it doesn't affect our Golden Dream."
"Meow~"
"What was that?" Danitz's leg was suddenly bumped by something, causing him to stumble and almost fall.
He whipped his head around, only to find the culprit was an Orange Cat, its eyes currently gleaming as it stared at him.
"Where did this stinky cat come from?" Danitz cursed under his breath, just about to kick it away, when he suddenly froze.
This cat... gave him a strange sense of familiarity. A feeling... like it wasn't the first time he'd been outsmarted by it.
"Wait!" He squatted down, carefully examining the familiar-looking Orange Cat, "Are you the cat by Brando's side?"
"Meow." Lachi nodded in a human-like manner.
"Why are you here?" Danitz asked, full of confusion, "I remember Brando said he was going back to Backlund, could it be that you haven't left yet?"
"Meow... Meow meow meow... Meow!" Lachi gestured wildly.
"?"
Danitz was full of questions: "What are you meowing about?"
"Meow!"
Seeing that communication was ineffective, Lachi directly bit Danitz's pants and pulled him in one direction.
"Hey! Hey! What are you doing!" Danitz was flustered by the sudden action.
"Meow!" Lachi looked back at him with an expression that seemed to say, "You idiot."
"You mean for me to follow you?" Looking at the Orange Cat's anxious expression, Danitz seemed to understand something.
"Did something happen to Brando?"
"Meow wuwu..." Lachi nodded, a look on its face that suggested he had finally understood.
...
Let's return to a few hours earlier.
Tracy had originally intended to sail this Tracy-laden small boat directly to her pirate flagship, the "Black Death."
But the situation in the surrounding sea area was beyond her expectation; many Official and Storm Church vessels suddenly appeared nearby.
If she continued on her original route, she would definitely encounter them.
However, if she changed course and took a detour, it was questionable whether this dilapidated boat could hold up.
After some consideration, she eventually abandoned her initial plan and sailed the boat to a rarely known "private port" near Bayam, where ships could barely anchor.
"We've arrived." After steadily docking the boat, Tracy let out a long sigh of relief, her tense emotions slightly easing.
She went into the cabin and fell into contemplation, looking at Luo En, who was still unconscious.
But for her, a new, more difficult problem lay ahead: how to transport Luo En and the entire warehouse full of materials. She clearly couldn't do it alone.
"Sigh..." She rubbed her Sun temple. In the past, these matters could be easily resolved by her subordinates. But now...
"What should I do~" She leaned down and gently caressed Luo En's cheek.
Actually, for Tracy, there was only one solution to the current situation—find someone to help.
If this were on the "Black Death," or if she still had all her equipment, notifying her subordinates would be an easy task; she had many Mystical Items that could accomplish this.
But unfortunately, she was currently on a dilapidated boat, and even the clothes she was wearing belonged to Luo En.
This place wasn't too far from one of her strongholds; if she hurried, she could be back with people in as little as half an hour.
But as soon as this thought arose, it was rejected by the strong possessiveness in her heart.
No! She couldn't leave him alone here? Not even for a second! Tracy shook her head.
She considered taking Luo En with her, but soon this idea was also overturned...
From the Official ships that had appeared earlier, Tracy knew that the situation in Bayam was definitely not right now.
Under such circumstances, for her, a famous great pirate, to leave with the still unconscious Luo En, the risk was simply too great.
Not only would it slow her down, but if she ran into people from the Storm Church, or some of her peers...
Most importantly, her injuries hadn't fully healed yet. If something unexpected happened while she was with Luo En, she couldn't even imagine the consequences.

But... leaving the unconscious Luo En and this boatload of Tracy, even for just half an hour, wouldn't significantly reduce the risk.
Tracy fell into a dilemma of anxiety.
"No, I can't hesitate any longer."
"Fate is on my side." Tracy told herself.
Although this journey nearly cost her life, in return, she gained everything she wanted.
Wealth, love, and the hope of advancement and possible freedom.
All of this made her believe that fate was on her side.
Fate had dealt her the best hand; she had no reason to flinch at the final step.
As long as she was fast enough, the half-hour window in this secluded private port meant the probability of an accident was extremely low.
If she procrastinated until Luo En woke up, the risk would only be greater.
Hesitation leads to defeat!
She immediately took action. After reconfirming that the ropes binding Luo En were secure enough, she then somewhat tenderly extended her slender fingers, condensing a faint, almost invisible wisp of Dark energy at her fingertips, and gently touched Luo En's forehead.
She placed a small curse on Luo En to ensure he wouldn't wake up for a while.
"I'll compensate you later." She caressed Luo En's face, murmuring softly.
"Wait for me, okay~"
Tracy put on the coat that still carried Luo En's scent, and her figure quickly disappeared into the shadows on the shore.
"Meow wuwu..."
After Tracy left, a pair of amber eyes slowly opened in the Darkness.
Clearly, Tracy had focused too much on Luo En, to the point where she completely disregarded a certain Orange Cat in the cabin.
Miss Demoness also made an Error in quality control.
The Orange Cat cut through the ropes binding it and slipped off the boat.
...
"Shit, slow down." Danitz gasped for breath, surprised to find that he couldn't outrun a cat.
"This is... a dilapidated boat?" After a few minutes of extreme running, Danitz was led by Lachi to the old pirate ship.
But the ship before him, weathered by wind and rain, was simply too dilapidated.
The hull was covered in scorch marks and cracks, as if it could fall apart at any moment. Anyone who didn't know might think it was a discarded vessel.
"An ominous aura."
Of course, if he knew that this ship had been baptized by the wrath of a high Sequence and could still float on the water, he probably wouldn't think that way.
"Meow!" Lachi urged, letting out a cry, and was the first to leap, agilely jumping onto the deck. Danitz steadied himself and climbed up, using both hands and feet.
"Is no one here?" He stood on the deck and looked around. After confirming no one was present, he followed the Orange Cat into the cabin.
It didn't take much effort for them to find Luo En, still unconscious, inside the ship.
"Shit." Danitz gasped, drawing in a cold breath:
"Brando, how did you get caught and brought here?"
"And where are your clothes?"
As Danitz said, Luo En's current state was not very presentable; not only were his limbs bound, but his upper body was also bare, and there were many strange red marks on his neck.
"The smell here is so strange."
The air around them was filled with a peculiar scent, a mixture of fragrance, sweat, and some... unique body odor.
"He wasn't tortured, was he?"
"Or..."
Danitz sniffed, looking at Luo En before him, and couldn't help but feel sympathy.
"It seems your luck isn't that good after all..."
He sighed, then conjured a flame to burn through the ropes on Luo En's body.
"Wake up, wake up."
"Hey!"
After pushing Luo En a few times and seeing no response, Danitz grew a little anxious.
In his mind, Luo En's strength was quite good, yet even with the help of his pet cat, he was still tied up here. This indicated that the person who kidnapped Luo En was very strong.
He probably wasn't a match either, and staying here might be dangerous.
After several shoves had no effect, Danitz subconsciously reached out to slap him.
"Meow!"
"Alright, alright, I'll carry him, is that good enough?" Danitz, being stared at by the Orange Cat, had no choice but to retract his hand sullenly. He took off his own jacket to cover Luo En and then carried him on his back.
"Meow..."
And Lachi had darted off to somewhere unknown.
Less than a minute later, the Orange Cat returned, dragging a familiar shoulder bag in its mouth and with a shattered camera hooked on its paw.
"This is Brando's bag." Because Luo En used to carry it every day, Danitz still had a strong impression of this bag.
"Why do you want this broken camera?"
"Meow!"
"Got it, I'll take these things and go."
And so, Danitz, carrying Luo En, escaped the ship within this brief window of opportunity.
However... Danitz was unaware at this moment of the consequences his actions today would bring.
