Grace's POV
"Do you absolutely need this prenup canceled?" Miguel questioned. "You don't strike me as someone struggling financially, Grace. Your job pays well, and if you chose to stop working, Carlos could easily provide for you—you'd live like royalty as long as you remained with him."
"Carlos posed the exact same question," I confessed. "My answer hasn't changed. The money isn't the real issue—my husband betrayed me first, despite my complete faithfulness, and he brings NOTHING to our household. He won't even attempt being a proper househusband."
"So I refuse to let him leave with half my hard-earned wealth and property after destroying my life, cheating, and freeloading off me," I declared. Miguel could detect the resolve blazing in my eyes. He understood I'd accept nothing less than voiding this prenup.
I didn't care if others labeled me vindictive or greedy—I wouldn't permit Charles to benefit from my efforts when he'd earned nothing.
