Hell's Kitchen!
Hell's Kitchen, also known as Clinton, is a district on the west side of Manhattan Island in New York. It's the most famous slum in Manhattan and a breeding ground for gangs.
In countless Marvel works, Hell's Kitchen is the starting point for many protagonists, and for Li Qingyuan, it was no different.
Admittedly, there were many superheroes and supervillains in New York he could choose to interact with. However, after considering their power levels and the difficulty of the potential missions, he decided to start in the newbie village!
The famous Iron Man and Spider-Man needed no introduction. They were essentially the two flags of Marvel. Interacting with them would likely mean a minimum S-rank difficulty for any mission.
Don't be fooled by Spider-Man's fights with street thugs; he's a top-tier hero.
So, even though he'd gathered information online, knowing that Richard Parker, the supposed S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, had died two years ago, and that his son, Peter Parker, was now living in Queens, seven years old, and in second grade, he still chose this location.
But Li Qingyuan had no intention of provoking Spider-Man at all. Spider-Man possessed the Spider-Sense, could lift a twenty-five-ton truck with his bare hands, and was unharmed even when hit by a speeding subway train. With his current physique, if he got involved in a dungeon on the same level as Spider-Man, he probably wouldn't even know how to spell the word "death".
As for the spider-gene legacy that Richard Parker left to his son?
That thing was DNA-bound; only Peter Parker in the entire world could use it. Anyone else who tried would definitely die.
So, it was better to stay away from the guy as much as possible, and wait until he was strong enough to take on the Spider-Man dungeon.
After excluding these two big shots from the Marvel superhero world, there were actually many hidden bigwigs in New York.
For example, the neurosurgeon Stephen Strange, who was just starting to become famous, and also the retired first-generation Ant-Man, Hank Pym.
However, these people were also too high-level compared to Li Qingyuan's current strength.
Logically speaking, Black Widow and Hawkeye, the shame of the Avengers, were definitely his best choices right now, but these two guys were Nick Fury's confidantes. Seeing them wouldn't be easy.
After a dozen or so days of groundwork, he finally chose the simplest instance.
The Defenders!
This was a series about four street-level heroes: Daredevil, Matt Murdock, who pretended to be blind; Jessica Jones, who had been someone you didn't want to mess with for several years; Luke Cage, who gained thick skin after undergoing military experiments; and Iron Fist, Danny Rand, a rich second-generation heir with mediocre kung fu skills.
Since Grant Ward, who only appeared in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., actually existed, there was no reason why The Defenders would be erased, right?
Compared to those famous heroes and villains, the four members of the Defenders could be said to be the epitome of weaklings. The four of them teamed up to fight against The Hand and were utterly defeated, retreating in disarray. They only managed to win in the end thanks to the protagonist's halo, making them a unique group in the superhero world.
But now he needed to find test subjects, and naturally, the weaker, the better. If he hadn't been unable to meet Happy without alerting Iron Man, he would have liked to see if he could trigger any instance plots with Happy.
With Happy's skills, if he could really trigger an instance, it would definitely be a zero-level world to farm points!
Although the Defenders were somewhat famous, it was really very difficult to find them.
Luke Cage, it seemed, had changed his name after gaining superpowers. No one knew what he was called before. Given the current timeline, he was likely still being experimented on at a military base.
As for Iron Fist, Danny Rand, he was still training in the legendary K'un-Lun. It would be impossible to see him for another three to five years.
And Jessica Jones?
He remembered that the girl was a high school classmate of Spider-Man. Incidentally, that name was also a later change.
So, after searching the internet for several days, he only found information on Daredevil.
Of course, if he were to ask for help from someone like Garrett, with his status as an eighth-level S.H.I.E.L.D. elder, he could naturally find all the information he wanted. He might even be able to arrange a meeting with Hawkeye or Black Widow.
But doing so would make him too passive. Even if he had to find people on his own, it was better than letting someone else know his intentions.
Matt Murdock!
A blind man who pretended to be blind all day long!
No, that's wrong!
A truly blind blind man!
Matt's father was a boxer. From a young age, he trained in boxing. Coupled with the kid's intelligence, he was sure to become a well-rounded talent when he grew up.
Unfortunately, when this guy was around ten years old, he stubbornly went to help an old man and got swindled!
Well, actually, young Matt was very kind. Seeing a car about to hit an old man, he impulsively rushed forward and pushed the old man away.
The old man was directly injured by Matt and became a disabled person. At the same time, Matt himself was sprayed in the eyes by the chemicals the car was carrying.
From then on, little Matt said goodbye to the colorful world, his eyes were directly blinded.
However, as the saying goes, when God closes a door, he will definitely smash down a wall. Although Matt lost his sight, he gained Super Senses.
Even though Matt's Super Senses were like a little brother compared to Spider-Man's Spider-Sense, considering one was Marvel's golden child and the other was raised by a stepmother, there was simply no comparison!
Besides, compared to ordinary people, Matt was already pretty amazing!
His super hearing could detect a person's heartbeat within twenty meters, his super touch could read the contents of a book just by touching it with his fingers, his super smell definitely surpassed that of police sniffer dogs, and his super taste could directly discern the composition and ratio of all the seasonings in food.
Speaking of which, if Daredevil went to those restaurants or food processing plants to cause trouble, wouldn't he immediately be able to master their secret recipes?
Relying on his Super Senses, plus the results of secretly following some perverted old man to learn martial arts at night, Matt Murdock could definitely be considered a superhero now!
Of course, he was the last one on the list!
After all, he didn't have an invulnerable body or the strength to punch a car to pieces. Perhaps for ordinary people, Matt was already an extraordinary existence, but in reality, let alone encountering those famous supervillains, even a class of special forces soldiers might be enough to beat him!
Tell me, is there such a weak superhero in this world?
The New Year is just around the corner, but unfortunately, the coronavirus has broken out at this time. Everyone must take protective measures!
