Sari pulled June away, immediately after she stepped down the stage. They entered the changing room and Sari locked the door.
"Sharp tongue, ocean eyes and jet-black hair. Wasn't he literally describing you?" Sari gave June a questionable gaze.
"No. There's about 30% of women in America with those qualities. Don't overreact, Sari." Although June was feeling confused, she didn't let it show.
"Jet black hair, yes. But ocean eyes? You and Gita are the only women I know with ocean eyes in the whole of New Jersey. Definitely, he isn't talking about Gita." Sari was almost certain the woman Luigi was describing was June.
"I'm exhausted, Sari. Can we stop talking about me? I just want to go home and take a hot shower and sleep." June didn't want to dwell on his words. They meant nothing to her, if he couldn't even inform her he was back, although they ha texted the night before.
"This talk is not over." Sari looked at June for a while before leaving the room.
