"Whoa! I haven't had something so delicious in a long time. You are really good. You know that, right?" June chuckled softly as she relaxed on the car seat.
She really enjoyed the meal that Luigi prepared for her. She didn't expect it to be that good, but once again, he has surprised her.
"Of course, I know. I am the one who cooked it." Luigi replied smugly.
"Tsk!" June shook her head. He was so obnoxiously self-aware.
"June, are you no longer angry with me, then?" Luigi asked after a few seconds of silence.
June turned and looked at him. He smiled and focused on driving.
"It wasn't intentional to keep my return from you. I really lost my phone while filming at the beach. I should have memorized your number off head. I thought surprising you would bring a positive response. I didn't know that you don't like surprises."
June smiled. "I guess I overreacted. I'm sorry."
