Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: There is something wrong with you, it’s like you are not human.

"Swoosh!" A fiery arrow flew from a distance, hitting the mechanical dog that was attacking Lynette.

The next moment, a large cat-like creature, the "Phantom Cat Hat," swaying in a hat, was left in its place.

The appearance of this Phantom Cat Hat instantly drew the monsters' aggro again.

Lynette saw the Phantom Cat Hat appear in front of her and then saw her brother running from a distance, and she breathed a sigh of relief.

Alex also breathed a sigh of relief. His luck was really good, haha. He must be the protagonist; there would definitely be a powerful figure to save the day at crucial moments. Awesome!

Lyney looked at the three people in the Domain and had no time to say anything. The most urgent task was to deal with the three monsters in front of him.

With Lyney's addition, Lynette and Alex's fighting felt much more relaxed and comfortable.

After all, Lyney and Lynette both had magic hats and cats that could taunt enemies; the rest relied on dodging with movement.

It's worth mentioning… "No! My Whopperflowers, you died so tragically."

Alex realized that although the captured monsters were under his control, they were not immune to his teammates' DMG at all; they took full DMG.

Unlike the monsters summoned by his Combat Skill, which constantly showed "Vaporize" above their heads but took no DMG.

So, just now, the two Whopperflowers that were dealing DMG on the side were accidentally killed by Lyney, who had transformed into the Phantom Cat Hat.

But he gained over two hundred experience, which was good. No, no, he was still very heartbroken, alright.

However, Alex also noticed something: even with Lyney joining, Swirl and Vaporize kept appearing above the three monsters' heads, but their HP bars were still dropping very slowly; it was still a very slow grind.

"Lynette, what level are you and your brother Lyney?" Alex, who could now slack off in the back, suddenly asked.

"What 'chickens'?" Lynette asked, confused.

Lyney looked at Lynette, also not understanding what Alex, who had taken his sister away, meant.

That's right, Lyney recognized Alex. He had only just realized during the battle that the guy fighting alongside Lynette was the same person who had confessed to Hydro Archon Furina during the trial.

"And Lynette, you don't seem to be able to group monsters, and you're still C0."

"???" Lynette was still confused.

"Lyney, you're also C0. How is your… what's-it-called, Cat Hat, always present as just one?"

"…" Lyney didn't know what Alex was talking about, nor how to respond.

Just as Alex's two sentences left them speechless…

"Ding."

His phone suddenly reappeared. Alex opened the interface and found that the entire screen was unclickable, with an update bar appearing: 1%.

What was going on? Alex didn't understand.

2%. The progress was quite fast; he hoped it wouldn't get stuck at 99% for too long.

For now, he would focus on the slow grind of the battle.

After an unknown amount of time, the first monster was finally eliminated, and the two subsequent ones were also quickly dealt with.

Lyney put away his bow and immediately walked towards Lynette, seeing that she seemed to have suffered some injuries: "Lynette, are you alright?"

"I'm fine, brother." Lynette immediately shook her head.

Lyney carefully examined Lynette's body, and after confirming she was truly unharmed, he turned his head, intending to question Alex.

99% - 100%.

The phone's progress suddenly completed. The next moment, the interface returned to the starry sky background. More icons appeared on it.

[Scan]

Alex clicked it, and a scanning interface appeared, but in the middle of the interface was a phantom human figure icon.
