"Uhh... hey are you alright?" Said the commander while snapping his fingers infront of my face snapping me out of my daze.
"Huh? Oh! Yeah no im fine my mind was just wandering off for a bit. Um. Can i ask? Was that girl a metal maiden?" Pointing at where the zoe sped off.
With the commander nodding. "Yeah, well i wouldn't really be a commander without them aren't i?" As he chuckles for a bit and continues. "But yea she and the others are metal maidens, why? First time seeing one or something?"
Uh.. yeah no shit. Well my first time seeing one thats not an image on a screen or is just a live 2d model... as i nod.
"Yeah... its my first time seeing one in the flesh..."
The commander nods and continues to then ask me another question.
"Alright, here's a question for you two. Who are you and what are you doing in this place? The city is ruined and like you experienced earlier can be filled with beast tanks." As he looks at me sternly.
Oh shit. Yeah. Fuck what do i say? That we just got Isekai'ed here and saw this city from the distance and decided to camp here for a bit and as for names uh... my original name and i dunno the kv-4's girl name? Actually.... yeah that kinda works... well except for the Isekai'ed part... so lets go with that.
"Uh... my name is johan and she is anastasia and as for why we are here.... um.. its kinda a weird story..."
"A weird story? Go on. Im listening." Guestures the commander.
Sigh, well making it simple should be good enough i hope.
"Well you see before you found us, me and her woke up in the middle of nowhere... already wearing these clothes and that we also seem to be from not around here and can't remember anything much aside from that. We saw that the sky was kinda dark and ominous so we decided to head to what we thought was a city close by but, well as you can know and see this isn't a city... its a ruined city so we decided to stock up and rest here since its a restaurant and it still looks to be in a somewhat good shape to rest inside."

I open anastasia's eyes and comment next to make sure that the story lines up and they believe us.
"We don't know where we are from, we can't even read what those signs or those words on the canned foods and signs around us, and we both have splitting headaches"
As i nod with the boy, and i make the girl stand up albeit slowly since its still very hard and confusing to control two bodies at once and makingnthem do separate things.
"Also uh... i think we might be twins... im not sure..."
The commander raises an eyebrow. "Twins? How can you tell? You both don't look that similar to each other other than your same colored eyes and matching clothes."
Heh. I don't even need to make myself look at myselfs.

With both of my bodies doing the same things and even making them back to back with each other while doing random hand signals or some other things with my body in a quick manner that should be almost impossible to replicate by two people..... or something lol.
"Hm. Ok i get your point, you two might be twins and did you say you also think you aren't from here? Then do you know where this place is?"
I shake both my heads.
The commander sighs 'seems like more trouble for what its worth, but who knows.'
"Commander! Perimiter secured and the rain seems to have also stopped, what now?"
Says zoe as she pops back in the kitchen folowed by xia.
"Are they ok commander?" Popping her head arond the corner to just peek inside.
"They are fine. And thanks for the report."
As the commander then snaps his fingers.
"Oh yeah, you two. You said you came from the outskirts of this city right? Did you two see a strange light pillar that seems to have happened out there?"
Huh? A strange light pillar? Can't say I have... tho to be fair i did wake up in that open field... wait... could that pillar be related to me? Hmm... better not say anything for now just to be safe...
"Uh.. light pillar? Sorry, we didn't see anything of the sort."

Zoe steps back a bit and shivers slightly. "Woah... that was... creepy... commander are you SUUUREEE that they are ok?"
The commander chuckles. "Relax. They are fine from the looks of it, they said they were twins and frommthe looks of it the ones that seem to do those kinds of things... you know the creepy similar ones."
"Eep! Stop nononono! Stop stop stop! I don't want to hear any more!" As zoe runs back towards xia also popping her head around the corner.
Cute. But... slightly different from the ingame zoe...hmm.. does that mean that this commander is the one that the player supposedly play as? Hmm...
"Uh.."

"Hmm? What is it?" As the commander turns around to face us.
"May we know what your name is?"

Hearing this, zoe by the corner laughs a bit before holding it in. Followed by a sigh from xia and the commander.

Surely he has a normal name instead of what we players type in. Right?
"Well, i suppose since you did tell me your names i can tell mines two, but promise me you wont laugh?"

As i make both of myself nod.

As zoe starts laughing with xia already long gone from the corner.
And the commander is just sighing while looking at zoe....

"I hate to burst your bubbles burt commander, several beast tanks were sighted entering the city we need to move out an retreat."

With the commander furrowing his brow.
"Alright guess i'll just have to report that pillar then. Prepare to move out! And you two, do you mind coming with us? We can get you to a safe place, and also i need you two to provide testimonies."
Oh good safety! Yes! Better than this ruined city now that i know its filled with beast tanks!
I both nod.
"Good theres a jeep nearby that i used to get to this city, its gonna be a bit before we get to it. So you two get ready aswell."
"Yes."
