A few hours after the strange pillar of light was sighted.
"My lord, i have something to report."
"Oh? I was not expecting anything, did anything come up with those experiments?"
"No my lord, the experiments are still ongoing. This is about another matter. Here please read this."
"Oh?, let me see..."

"Are you sure this isn't just a false alarm? We are not expecting anyone or supplies here for a long time."
"Yes, my lord. I have triple checked, the location seems to also be quite far off from our usual spots and far from any of our experiments as well. I suspect that it might be one of ours... especially her.. but the traces are different so i am unsure."
"That is indeed quite odd, i will permit you to send someone to look into it, just make sure you prioritize those experiments first."
"Undersood my lord, i shall take my leave."

"Hopefully its nothing, but my instincts are telling me something is wrong but i can't say what it is. This is a first. Well no matter i doubt that it will affect anything. Our plans are proceeding quite nicely so we don't need to fret over what seems to just be a case of a false transport."

Meanwhile back with the team, a few hours earlier.

"Is everyone ready to head out?" Asks the commander.
"Me and jumbo is ready to roll!" Beams zoe. While the rest of the girls nods or replies with "yes!"
Oh my god, i didn't notice them all earlier... but... these girls are all so cute! And uh... sexy... ahem.
"Yeah. I'm good"
"Yeah. I'm good"
"Good, let's head out before more beast tanks appear." Says the commander as he starts walking out the restaurant doors followed by zoe and the rest.
As i suppport myself with my other and follow behind the commander.
"It still gives me the creeps when they do that." Whispered zoe to the commander, who chuckles.

After a while of walking through ruined streets and some rubble.
Walking is still a bit weird with both of my bodies but im slowly getting used to them.
Hopefully i can also learn to multitask with both of them but for now i just need to keep up behind the commander.
Man. I still can't believe it though. But... something is strange...
Like. If i remember correctly... if the commander is in that uniform... and from the looks of it zoe is also preety new being as a metal maiden it must mean that story wise, well for the game atleast... this is around the very beginning of the game. But whats confusing me is, the others.
Looking around me... i can spot:
zoya, the kv-13 russian heavy tank (HT for short)
Raisa, the bt-5a russian light tank (LT for short)
Sophie, the tiger 1 h german heavy tank
Jocelyn, the marder II german anti tank... tank imma call em tank destroyers instead. (TD for short)
Chen, the t-34-2 chinese medium tank (MT for short)
Xia, BJ212 Light armored vehicle (LAV for short)
Then lastly next to the commander.
Zoe, the sherman Mk-IV medium tank
Normally when you start out the game you get to choose 2 other girls to join your team temporarily, story wise atleast. For the game since its sort of a gacha/builder girl collector game, you get to keep them as units yourself.
And of those choices, you get the two russian girls which i went with for my game being raisa and zoya, then the two german girls sophie and jocelyn, then lastly the chinese girls chen and xia.
Then theres zoe sherman. Commander's inescapable blundering partner... yeah i won't say much as i feel like im gonna experience all her antics in a new view... literally, heh.
Funny enough it used to be the french girls when the game was in its super early days from what i can remember. The amx-13 girl and the arl-44 girl natalie which later joins the commander's group in the story.

"Uh... commander? Are you sure its fine to let these two follow us?" Whispered zoe.
"Yes, im sure. And i have a feeling... that they might know more than they are saying. And they might be related to that strange pillar of light from before so i want to take them back to the base with us." Said the commander while looking at a map.

After a while of more walking.
"Hold up. Beast tanks dead ahead. Prepare for combat, you two with me." As he then starts pulling both of me by a corner of the block. While the rest of the girls get into some sort of formation.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
And with the first three shots from zoya, sophie and jocelyn the battle has begun.
As i hear panicked monkey noises from a few blocks down. I spot zoe rushing in blindly followed by zoya and sophie with xia and raisa flanking around the block followed by chen and jocelyn. While the commander peeks around the corner shouting commands.
"Zoe! Back off! Don't just blindly rush in! Zoya! Sophie! Make sure she dosen't get ganged on! The rest of you take out the stragglers!"
Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom.
Ohohggh!?
Ohohuaaaghh!?
Panicked whimpering cries and grunts
"Zoe! Stop rushing! Thats my job!" Boom. Clink. As she blocks a shell with her arm from an aristotle.
"Hmph! That newbie still bas so much to learn!" Boom.
"Go jumbo!" Bang.
Panicked fading cry.
"Yes! Got one!"

Hm... seeing the girls fight... is surreal to say the least. Seeing zoya, wrestling that giant gorilla with ease is... astonishing to say the least...
Huh?
Whizzzzzzz... Boom.
Oh shit!?
"What!? Girls! 7 o clock! 4 more enemies! You two with me! Now!" As the commander starts pulling both of me towards sophie.
"Zoya! Zoe! Sophie! Push through! We are moving now!"
"да!", "okay!", "understood!" with zoya, zoe and sophie responding promptly with the three firing towards the remaining enemies in the first group.
Boom. Boom. Boom.

With raisa, Jocelyn, chen, and xia joining the group in finishing the first group. The commander with both of me being pulled along retreating forward. The girls starts shooting the beast tanks that appeared behind us.
