Dio stood at the staggering height of 7.8 feet, his figure beaded with emerald crystal scales, as a massive lengthy tail swished behind him, expressing his murderous glee.
His red reptilian slits locked onto the figure before him, jagged teeth in full display.
Roy's figure stood undaunted before the lizard man, a silver baton in his grasp resting comfortably on his shoulders. His status as a Lord had long started to become ingrained in his being, and his charm skill was in full effect — just his mere presence already radiated a regal aura.
When he first arrived, what caught his attention was his wear. He was clothed in a clean, mature signature navyblue uniform, with a tactical vest on. He wore a pair of military boots, and on his waist a leathery onyx holster which held his Glock, followed by a utility belt on which a radio and other items were attached.
He was stunned. Though his dressing carried the feeling of a modern cop, he knew it wasn't in the slightest. Just the texture of the fiber the uniform was made with was wonderful, offering a fitted, comfortable, and flexible suit, carrying a succinct feeling of refreshing coolness. The wear was as light as could be — it even gave the illusion of him weighing less.
Nice, he praised, as his eyes trailed back to the furyfilled criminal before him. Though the guy stood about a full foot taller than him, Roy gave the feeling that he was looking down on the criminal, not the other way around.
His eyes expressing full disgust, he scorned, "You want to kill me? Hmph! Withstand a whack from me before you can boast as such."
Back in the day, he had apprehended his fair share of criminals, but there were a select few he despised with all his being. Sex offenders and rapists were one of them. Their vile nature disgusted him — he wanted nothing more than to clean the world of such scum.
Good thing one fell into his hands today. His grip around the baton tightened.

With this weapon in tow, and just Roy's skill Bash (SSS), it was enough to make him one of the strongest among the newly ascended.
His composure intact, he recited, "You have been caught in the act of nonconsensual sexual assault, and you will be detained. Any further act of violence or resisting the law will escalate your charges."
Dio trembled as he clutched his stomach, holding back a belly full of laughter. Is this guy retarded? Or is he just knowingly stupid? he wondered, amused.
He shook his head. He couldn't play this game for long. He had to act fast lest his prey take advantage of the situation and scamper off.
"I don't have time for your games. Delusional fools like you are better off dead." As he spoke, his massive claws arced in a leisurely motion in a bid to kill the cop in a single slap. "Didn't you say something about me withstanding a whack? Why don't you withstand a slap."
In his transformation state, Dio had once battled a Level 7 boss monster to a draw. Though at the end he couldn't kill the beast, it also couldn't kill him. That was a Level 7 boss monster — a creature that could decimate regular monsters of Level 9 or 10.
Yet he fended it off. What was he if not overpowered?
As this smug thought ran through his mind, his scaled lips stretched into a vicious smile. This guy didn't know what he was up against. As they say, those who don't know the scale of the heavens hold no fear of the heavens.
Whoom!
His attack landed, but something was wrong! Where was the crunch? Where was the splat? Why was there no reaction at all? It was as though he had slapped thin air.
And then the figure of the man he slapped undulated faintly before vanishing midair. He realized that was an afterimage.
His pupils constricted as his nostrils twitched. He looked down only to see the officer standing so close to him. How did he get there? He could have sworn he never saw the guy move. Was that a skill? Or was he that fast?
Unfortunately, he couldn't get his questions answered, as the cop spoke in a lazy tone. "You have resisted an arrest, and now I am under obligation to use the necessary force required to force you to submit."
Suddenly, an intense feeling of foreboding washed over Dio. He didn't know why, but the stench of death suddenly wafted into his nose. A chill crept down his spine. This feeling…
It was familiar. It was what he felt when he came across a creature classified as a field boss a few miles back. The moment he locked gaze with the creature, he knew it instinctively. Just as a lamb knew not to struggle from the teeth of a lion, he knew that was death!
How could a human give such a feeling? Wait, don't tell me… is this the Lord I came to challenge? As his mind ran full of questions, the only reply he got was a cold swing of a baton.
His pupils trembled as he watched the blunt silver weapon in motion. Time seemed to slow to a crawl as he watched air compact in its presence, light bending at its passage. His heart lurched and his eyes stung. I have to dodge. Though he practically screamed this inwardly, he remained still. It was then he realized this slow effect was but a mere result of his fear factor, and even if he wanted to move, his body wouldn't react fast enough.
He watched helplessly as the baton struck unimpeded into his torso. His eyes bulged, his teeth clenched.
As the strike resulted in an undulating effect, the might behind that attack was something his constitution couldn't even hope to resist.
What followed next was a sickening Crunch! followed by a Boom! as his figure flew away helplessly on impact.
Only after ramming into a few trees did the momentum die down. Dio's figure landed on the cold earth, his claws dug into the soil as he groaned in pain. His transformation was instantly dismissed as he reverted back into human form.
His pathetic, skinny, bald appearance came into view. His clothes were in tatters, mostly due to his transformation, and his figure was like that of a mafia gang member coated with tattoos from head to toe.
He craned his head laboriously as he gazed at the cop in a new light of horror. That attack — it wasn't just a regular hit. It had permeated his being in a ripple effect, distributing all damage evenly cell for cell, organ for organ, and bone for bone.
Cough! Cough! He hacked out a mouthful of blood and patches of damaged organs, his mind empty, holding only one question: Who the hell was this cop?
