Chapter 39
Sebastian stood in the gigantic living room of the Cross mansion, dressed in a casual yet luxurious robe for the day. After spending the morning in the ring, training and burning off energy, he was now back, the house quiet around him.
A servant approached, bowing slightly before handing him a clipboard he had requested fir earlier. Sebastian studied the man's face and then the clipboard carefully.
"Are you sure this is accurate?" he asked, grabbing the files and turning to pick up a glass of half-finished whiskey.
"Yes, sir," the servant replied immediately, as humble as he could manage.
Sebastian sipped the whiskey and said flatly, "Get out." The servant bowed again and left without a word.
