I woke up with a start, holding my head and wailing. Suddenly, a maid ran in, her face filled with panic and joy:
"Young master! Are you okay?!"
While I was still dazed and confused, the maid hurriedly ran away, shouting:
"Madam! Young master is awake!"
I was stunned for a moment. Not long after, a middle-aged woman and a man quickly walked in. They rushed to hug me, crying and asking questions. From the way they called my name, I knew that these were the original body's parents.
The mother choked:
"A Chuan! Are you okay? Are you okay? If anything happens to you… I won't be able to live!"
The man beside her also said, his voice filled with anger:
"That's right! A Chuan, tell me, who made you like this, I will send someone to kill him!"
I was a little taken aback by my original mother's warm embrace, but then I also opened my arms to hug her back, and softly reassured her:
"Mom and Dad, I'm fine. Don't worry, it's just a small accident."
Seeing that I was awake, my original parents were less worried. My mother stroked my head and gently said:
"Um… If A Chuan says so, then I'm relieved."
Even though she said that, I still saw a hint of unease in her eyes. I immediately hugged her tighter and softly said:
"Mom, I'm really fine, don't worry anymore…"
My mother smiled, seeming a little more at ease, and then said:
"You just woke up, so you should rest. I'll go buy some things, and today I'll personally cook some nourishing dishes for you in the kitchen."
Before I could reply, she gently helped me lie down, pulled up the blanket, and left with my father and the servant. Before leaving, she repeatedly reminded me:
"Remember to rest, don't get out of bed!"
I heard that, my nose was stinging, and a warm feeling rose in my heart. I softly replied:
"Yes…"
After everyone left, I sat up and adjusted my mood. After a while, I seriously called out:
"606, come out."
System 606 appeared, smiling brightly:
"The host called me?"
I glanced at it, but didn't bother scolding, just said:
"Transfer the original body's memories to me."
"Yes, please accept the memories."
After 606's words, a movie slowly appeared in my mind – from when the original body was young, family memories, past events… and the reason why he was in a coma.
I clearly saw the scene of Du Thanh Ngon - the jealous person who pushed the original body out onto the street, causing an accident. Because the original body was better than him in everything: family, education, even appearance.
After receiving the memories, I was silent for a while, then slightly curved my lips into a smile - a smile that carried a bit of mystery:
"Things... are starting to get interesting."
606 spoke up:
"Host, after receiving the memories, I hope you will soon complete the mission."
I nodded, lazily replying:
"I know, no need for you to remind me."
606 left, not forgetting to leave a sentence:
"I wish the host a happy and soon complete the mission!"
After listening, I laughed bitterly, silently cursing 606's ancestors in my heart, then lay down to think. I don't know how to arrange it, but I... slept until the afternoon.
A servant came in and shook me awake:
"Young master, it's time to eat."
I sat up in a daze, rubbed my eyes and said:
"I know…"
I changed my clothes and went down to the dining room. My original parents were already sitting. My mother gently said:
"A Chuan, quickly sit down and eat."
I looked at their warm smiles and my heart suddenly tightened. I sat down and softly replied:
"Yes…"
I thought to myself: I will truly consider them as my parents. I will not let them suffer a tragic end anymore. I will give them a happy ending.
My mother kept putting food into my bowl. I was a little confused:
"That's enough, Mom, I can't finish it all…"
My father smiled and said:
"Grandma, let her eat naturally."
My mother stopped. While eating, I suddenly remembered something and said:
"Mom and Dad, I want to go to school tomorrow."
My parents were a little stunned. Dad asked:
"Aren't you going to take a few more days off? Didn't you always say you didn't want to go to school anymore?"
I hesitated:
"Ah… I haven't been to school for a long time, I miss my friends too…"
My dad heard that, although he was still doubtful, he nodded:
"Yes, if you want, you can go back to school tomorrow."
I happily said:
"Yes!"
My parents looked at each other, then smiled. After dinner, I went upstairs to rest, thinking to myself: Tomorrow will be a long day.
The next morning, the maid woke me up:
"Young master, wake up!"
I sat up groggily. The maid handed me a uniform:
"This is the school uniform."
I nodded in thanks. The maid politely said:
"This is my responsibility."
I changed and went downstairs. My parents were already waiting. After breakfast, I said goodbye to them, and the butler took me to school.
At the school gate, I couldn't help but sigh:
"Tsk... this school is too splendid..."
I walked in, and was walking along the corridor when I saw a group of people bullying another person. I frowned, quickly stepped forward, and blocked the person being bullied, loudly:
"Who gave you permission to bully others? Do you believe I'll tell the principal to expel you all?"
The group paused, and one of them muttered:
"Let's go, don't mess with this guy..."
Before leaving, one of them didn't forget to throw back a sentence:
"You're lucky today, you dog!"
After they left, I turned back and held out my hand:
"Let me help you up."
The other person pushed my hand away, coldly:
"I'm smartg need your pity."
I frowned, but still held out my hand, my voice serious:
"I don't pity you. Seeing injustice, I just help."
The other person looked at me, his eyes gradually changing. Perhaps, he realized that I had no intention of pity – I simply wanted to help someone. After a few seconds of contemplation, he reached out and took my hand, letting me help him up.
I smiled slightly, helping him stand up. When I finished, I didn't say anything more, turned around and left.
He stood there, watching my back with a thoughtful gaze.
As for me – without knowing it – I was about to enter a new chapter of my life. And the person in front of me… was the beginning of it all.
