Chapter 16 - 15.Ethan's Training journey.

"Judging from the CCTV footage, his speed displayed must be at least nearing Mach 1 which he used to defeat the level 3 grimlores." Captain Monroe said with a surprised look on her face as all the Captains gathered in the video room to watch Ethan's recording.

"Being able to get to that speed at a beginner's level means his potential is high." Captain Zephyr said.

"It's as if he awakened with a speedster ability rather than an assassin class ability to get to this level but they just went through the ritual a week ago." The masked female captain remarked.

"I think you guys must continue the training for the other lieutenants. I must send Ethan somewhere else. This is not where Ethan must train if we really want him to progress." Shawn stated.

"What do you mean, Prime?" The masked captain asked in a worried tone.

"Don't worry I'll make sure he's not going to be endangered." Shawn said and walked out of the video room.

"Good day, Prime." All the lieutenants greeted with a salute as Shawn walked into their training room.

"Good day. Lieutenant Ethan, I need you to follow me." Shawn said and walked out of the training room.

"Yes Prime!" Ethan responded before following Shawn outside.

"We need to go somewhere urgently." Shawn announced to Ethan and continued to walk out of the Military base with Ethan following him behind.

"We'll be running to the place." Shawn said and started running ahead.

Without questioning and hesitation, Ethan also dashed forward following Shawn from behind.

"I think he's holding back his speed because I'm with him." Ethan thought.

After five full minutes of running they got to their destination.

"Woo! That was one good run. I really needed it. But what are we going to do at such a huge mansion like this." Ethan said with a smile.

"We would tell you something that we have kept secret from childhood and you're also supposed to keep it a secret." Shawn said urgently.

"What do you mean by..."

Ethan's sentences weren't done completely when he felt two arms gently wrapped around his neck and a warm breath on neck. This made Ethan freak out immediately but the person's arm held him down firmly.

"That's my sister, your aunt, Solara Clarke." Shawn said.

"You have a sister and you never told me about her." Ethan turned to his right to look at the lady's face and was left awestruck.

"This is like looking at a goddess."

Solara then left Ethan's back and moved in front of him.

"Am I that beautiful?" Solara questioned.

In front of Ethan stood a beautiful woman who had harmonious and refined facial features; high cheekbones, expressive eyes, and radiant skin that glowed with health. Her hair, straight, complemented her face and enhanced her natural elegance.

She had a well-proportioned figure, confident posture, and graceful movements that exuded vitality and charm. Her warm smile and kind demeanor made her presence inviting and captivating.

True beauty was further highlighted by her confidence, individuality, and the way she carried herself with effortless grace.

"Shawn has never told me I was beautiful." Solara said with a shy expression.

"And why the hell should I tell you that?" Shawn said unfazed.

"Of course, Lady Solara is beautiful, really beautiful." Ethan said with boldness.

"Aww, he called me lady, I love you already Ethan." Solara said and hugged Ethan tightly, almost suffocating him.

"Ahem, can we start what we came here for?" Shawn said after clearing his throat.

"Oh right, let's get inside." Solara said while holding Ethan's hand dragging him into the mansion in front of them.

"That hug almost sent me to my grave." Ethan thought.

Upon entering, a spacious foyer with a dramatic staircase and a glittering chandelier set the tone, featuring marble floors.

The living spaces included high ceilings, large windows draped in rich fabrics, and intricately designed molding on the walls, accompanied by elegant furnishings; plush sofas, antique pieces, and ornate rugs.

"This mansion has a grand dining room with a long table surrounded by high-backed chairs, illuminated by a stunning centerpiece chandelier, a library with built-in bookshelves and leather armchairs, and a luxurious master suite with a private sitting area, walk-in closets, and a spa-like bathroom. Additional rooms include a home theater, wine cellar, gym, and indoor pool, all designed with premium materials and attention to detail. You can come stay with me sometime." Solara explained.

"Whoa! That's amazing." Ethan was surprised at how big and luxurious the mansion was even though mansions were purposely for luxuries.

They walked to the private sitting area and sat down before Shawn started talking about the reason why Ethan was brought to the mansion.

"Our family has the bloodline of two divine beasts which are the fire phoenix and the lightning dragon. About a thousand years ago, the first family head of the Stormhaven Dynasty, one of the strongest families at the time which used to fight against grimlores, had nothing like a lexicon.

People trained physically with weapons and created normal weaponry skills just to fend off the grimlores but it all changed after the family head got into contact with a lightning dragon that had landed on earth after facing a stronger force which the dragon called the Lord of Grimlores.

The dragon proposed a blood bond with the family head which he hesitantly agreed to.

After the bond, every knowledge the dragon had was transferred to the family head with this he created the first lexicon which he named the Dawn chronicles.

With this people were able to get access to their lumaflux which they used to clear the first wave of grimlores. But after sometime the natives of the town started rioting about the dragon's power the family head had.

They said it was too much for a human to wield such power and forced him to leave the town.

But not wanting to leave his family in trouble after he had left he used a soul reincarnation spell but before that he divided his soul into three parts, first was what he called the soul of light, the second was soul of darkness, third was a summation of small amount of the soul of light, darkness and all the power of the lightning dragon.

He then set all the reincarnations to happen at the same time.

A thousand years later, Solara and I were born as fraternal twins. I had the soul of darkness whilst Solara had the soul of light.

Our mother couldn't contain joy of being the one to give birth to the first family head's incarnate but there was the question who had the power of the third incarnate.

They waited for long but no one showed the proof of having given

birth to the third incarnation until our elder sister Mia married into the Phoenixflare dynasty and you, Ethan got kidnapped.

That was when the lightning dragon showed itself. So we assumed you were the same person who had the other fragments of the soul of light and soul of darkness. Do you get it now?" Shawn asked after his narration.

"So you mean that young boy who sits on the swing in my Ethereal Nexus is the combination of both your power and Lady Solara's power." Ethan said in shock.

"So there's really a third personality inside of you." Shawn said with joy.

"Wait... That means from what you just said you're my uncle and lady Solara is my auntie." Ethan said with a surprised face now remembering what Shawn had said before he'd introduced him to Solara.

"Yes!" Solara said and hugged Ethan tightly once more.

"Uh... You're suffocating him." Shawn said as Ethan quickly tapped Solara at the back.

"Whew, this is going to take much longer for me to adjust to. Which means you're my mother's brother and you're my mother's sister. This is a really hard revelation." Ethan said aloud.

"Don't worry, you can still call me Lady Solara. I like it that way." Solara said proudly.

"Likewise me. You can call as you used to do." Shawn stated.

"Now to the main case. Now that you've joined the Scriptweavers your training regiment is going to be different from what the others are going through." Shawn explained.

" We'll be sending you off to the Stormhaven Dynasty where you'll start your training as an assassin class Scriptweaver. Good luck!" Solara.

Shawn manifested his Lexicon, a pure black, tome with some strange symbols on it with three huge rings which rotated around it.

The lexicon seemed to absorb all the light around it until Solara also manifested her lexicon which cancelled the effect of Shawn's lexicon, a pure golden tome with the same strange symbols as that of Shawn's lexicon. Both of their Lexicons were not lexicons that could be compared to the Lexicons other people had manifested.

Just by sight anyone could know how powerful the Lexicons were.

"Open! " Solara and Shawn said together and with the light and darkness from their Lexicons resonating, a portal opened up.

"This is the best way to become the lieutenant I'm looking for." Shawn said with a serious look.

"Ok." Ethan replied.

"Be careful not to pick a fight with anyone yet. You've got to get stronger than you're now." Solara stated. " But before that I'd like to introduce myself as the Prime Grandmaster of the Chronarchs around the world."

" I should know that much." Ethan said.

"Now we just have to give you the key to the portal. It's a unique key. If anyone is to see you with it they would understand why you are there." Shawn said and pulled out a small stone tablet with the same symbols of his Lexicon on it and Solara also did the same.

Upon handing it to Ethan, the stone tablets started vibrating on his hands as the symbols on it glowed brightly.

By the time the bright light had gone down the sigil of the lightning dragon had been etched into the centre of one extra stone tablet as the original ones went back to Shawn and Solara.

"Remember you're not just an ordinary person to them." Shawn warned which made Ethan confused.

" Don't worry you'll understand when you get there." Solara said and hugged Ethan once more before Ethan went through the portal.
