The Mystery of the Fate Fairy

The city is always alive, even at night. The street lights were flashing, the sound of vehicles was still noisy even though it was almost twelve. In a cramped room on the third floor of a student boarding house, a women sits quietly , staring at a small candle lit in front of the window.

Her name is Nadia. A second-year student, a middle-class student. Her face was calm, but her eyes were swollen. His hand squeezed the fabric of the shirt on his lap, holding back the mixed feelings.

This afternoon, he lost the gold necklace given to him by his mother. The necklace is not just jewelry; There is his little name engraved to the pendant, an object he has always worn since he was a teenager. The loss of the necklace seemed to take a part of him.

In desperation, she remembered a rumor whispered in an online forum: about an ancient ritual performed under a full moon. "The Fairy of destiny, the giver of good fortune," it said. Conditions were simple: the room had to be dark, there had to be only one candle by the window, and the incantation had to be chanted continuously until something answered.

At first, Nadia laughed at the story. But now, alone in the dark room, she tried to believe it. What harm could she do?

In a low voice, he chanted a mantra.

"Fairy of fate, giver of good fortune... The treveler asks for one wish... from the three stars... Polaris... Sirius... Aldenaran..."

Silence. Only the sound of distant vehicles outside.

He repeated it again. His breathing became more steady.

"Fairy of fate, giver of good fortune... The treveler asks for one wish... from the three stars... Polaris... Sirius... Aldenaran..."

The candle swayed once, then burned steadily. Nadia held her breath. And at that moment, a strange sound filled the dark room.

"Say... your request..."

Her heart skipped a beat. She new the story was true. But she wasn't reckless. She lowered her head deeply, not bothering to turn around or look for the source of the voice. Carefully, she said, "I just want my necklace back. The gold necklace with the engraved name. That's all."

The was silence for a moment. Then the candle went out.

the room suddenly went completely dark. Nadia closed her eyes, her body trembling, but she didn't make a sound. a few seconds later, the candle lit again. The flame was calm, as if nothing had happened.

Nadia opened her eyes. In her lap, something cold left against her skin. she Looking down.

The necklace was there, complete, intact, whith her familiar name angraved on it.

Her tears immediately fell. "Thank you..." she whispered.

That night, nothing bed happened. Nadia did everything according to the rules. And She got what was hers back—as if it had never been lost.

But deep in the darkness, something had recorded hes request.
