Anna knocked on the door and entered, spotting Harry sitting behind his desk.
The office was cool with the air conditioning on, and Harry had removed his jacket, which hung neatly on the back of his chair.
His white shirt was slightly unbuttoned, revealing his toned chest and the narrow waist encased in tailored trousers.
Hearing the door, Harry looked up, his dark eyes glinting with amusement as they landed on Anna.
"Didn't expect Ms. Ives to surprise me like this," Harry said in a deep voice, standing and approaching her.
There was an invisible pressure about him, and as he got closer, Anna felt a little uneasy, stepping back slightly.
She lowered her gaze and said calmly, "I thought this matter was simple, but someone seemed intent on complicating it."
Seeing Anna's composed demeanor, Harry's smile deepened.
He had suspected something earlier, which was why he hadn't shown up when Anna was in court.
